Me And The Rich Man's

Me And The Rich Man's
Chapter 85's

There may be nothing interesting in the life of Hanna Cabrera. Seven years ago she was just an ordinary girl with a simple appearance. Coming from a family with complicated problems and often getting injustice from his own family - forming her into a stubborn and rebellious girl.

Who would have thought, a masquerade party held to celebrate his senior graduation on campus became the start of a meeting with a foreign man. The meeting began with hostility.

Tonight, all those memories are repeated, but in a better way. Close bad memories with sweet new memories.

Hanna stepped gracefully in a navy dress. A mask framed his eyes and disguised his face. His gaze went around to every corner of the room with that dim lighting.

Hanna then stood among the women who were also wearing masks. Notice one-by-one entering the dance floor with their respective partners. Leaving Hanna alone in silence.

Not far from where Hanna was sitting, a man with a dazzling appearance walked towards her. The combination of shirt with semi-formal suit wrapped his perfect body. Without asking for permission, he pulled up a chair and sat down at the same table.

"Hi ..."

The friendly man greeted, showing a smile behind the mask that covered part of his face.

"Hi ..." Hanna replied flatly, then threw a glance in the other direction.

"Have we met before? I feel familiar with you."

"But you feel so foreign to me."

The man also laughed a little. "Then we should get acquainted." He reached out, but Hanna just stared at the hand hanging in the air, with no intention of welcoming her. "I'm Ervan Maliq Azkara. He is often called Evan. May I know your name?"

"Hanna Cabrera" he answered with a stroke of silence.

"What a good name. I'm so happy to meet you. Oh yeah, do you have a partner to dance with?"

"I'm not here to dance. So please leave me."

Evan shook his head with a slightly disappointed look. Hanna had just broken her heart with rejection. "Dearly enough. Looks like I'll just have to find another dance partner. I really want to dance with you."

When she was about to step away, Hanna looked at her sturdy back doubtfully.

"Hey, Ervan Maliq Azkara, wait!" The man's steps stopped immediately hearing the call. "Well, if you insist, I've never danced before. I'll use this opportunity to step on your feet with as many shoes as I want."

Evan turned his body with a happy smile. "All right, Princess. Do as you please." He reached out and Hanna greeted him.

Evan also brings Hanna among many other couples who are dancing. His sturdy hands were tightly coiled around the woman's waist. Their gazes met each other as if they were going to drown there.

"By the way, you're still the same as when I first saw you. You haven't changed at all. Still a grumpy and-"

Hanna looked at him with wrinkled eyelids, making Evan remember something.

Hanna laughed a little. "You really want to repeat that night?"

"I think we need to replace those bad memories with new ones."

Hanna looked at Evan lovingly, making the man immerse a kiss in the forehead. Embarrassedly, he leaned against the chest of Evan's field. His eyes closed as he sipped the scent of male perfume from that upright body. It was so warm, that it felt like Hanna did not want this moment to pass so quickly.

Music plays beautifully to the ears. Hanna is lulled in a romantic setting that takes her to past memories.

"What did you think of me when you first met?" ask Hanna.

"You're a pretty shitty girl and a little haughty. Besides I feel like you're a troublemaker."

Upset, Hanna hit Evan's chest in annoyance.

"So that's what you think of me?"

"I'm sorry. How about yourself? What did you think of me that night?"

"none. I just feel like you're a pathetic guy sitting alone in a corner of the room. You look like someone who's heartbroken. Were you heartbroken then?"

Evan fell silent, making Hanna look at him suspiciously.
