With tears in her eyes, Hanna stared at the crowd of the street that night. The car drove slowly, making Hanna impatient to get to the hospital soon.
Seeing her sister-in-law's uneasiness, Elma tried to calm down by clasping her hands.
“Tenace. We'll be here soon. Don't panic.”
Hanna leaned her head on the shoulder of her sister-in-law.
Passing through a fairly solid road, Hanna and Elma's attention is fixed on one point. The location of the single accident experienced by Evan caused severe congestion.
Several police officers are still seen inspecting the side of the road, following a tow truck that has been ready to carry a car, which they believe is Evan's car after seeing the type and license plate of the vehicle. Hanna screamed hysterically when she saw the condition of her husband's car which suffered severe damage.
The fear and panic that had been shackled since then made Hanna seem to lose her mind. Only his gaze continued to lead to the top of the hospital building where Evan was rushed—which could be seen from where they were now.
Hanna wiped her tears. Right now all she wanted was to be by her husband's side and accompany him.
“Where are you going, Hanna?” Hanna's sudden rapid movement down from the car left Elma with no time to prevent it. The woman got out of the car and ran behind Hanna.
While Hanna accelerated her pace ran through the rows of vehicles that were stopped by traffic jams. No matter what his weak body was, he kept running until he arrived at the hospital building.
His gaze went around after an automatic glass door opened wide. In a panic he ran towards the information room and asked an officer in plain Indonesian.
Hanna has not fully mastered the language of her husband's home country, so that made some officers confused. Some of them just stared in wonder at a beautiful Middle Eastern woman in her pajamas and disheveled hair who was crying.
“Sorry, we are a family of patients on behalf of Ervan Maliq Azkara who just had an accident not far from this hospital. Now where is he?” With a hunting breath, the newly arrived Elma asked an officer.
"Yes, right."
“The crash patient was still being treated in the Emergency Installation room, Doctor.” The white-clothed woman pointed in one direction, which made Hanna immediately run.
“Good, thank you,” said Elma with a makeshift smile. Followed his sister-in-law.
Hanna's steps stopped at the end of the hall. From less than ten meters away, Fahri and Zian were seated in a stainless long chair with their heads bowed. Slowly Hanna stepped though with an increasingly erratic heart rhythm. The fear was getting more and more real in his heart.
Fahri and Zian spontaneously turned their heads and immediately stood up leaving his seat.
Tell me my husband is fine, even if you have to lie! As soon as Hanna's gaze spoke.
“Hanna ..” Although Fahri's voice sounded heavy, the eldest in the Azkara family always tried to remain calm in the face of any situation.
“Say my husband is fine, Brother!” lirih Hanna with the swift tears flowing on both sides of her cheeks.
Fahri and Zian glanced at each other. There is no word that can be said from the lips of both. All they did was hug Hanna.
Instantly, the silent room was filled with sobs.
