Chapter 11's

“Really?” 

“Iya, Son. Everything's foryou. You can also bring him home. And one more thing, every time you eat a kebab, you can come here. All food and drink menus here are free for you whenever you want.” 

Grabbing a piece of meat-filled bread that was still warm, Evan fed it to the tiny lips.

Star opened her mouth excitedly. Gobbling like a hungry little boy, which makes Evan look at him sadly. For the umpteenth time, the man felt something strange. Like having a bond with this kid.  

Though only feeding only, but able to create a sense of happiness for Evan. So too for Star. He who never gets the love of a father becomes very spoiled.

“Pelan-pelanannya, Darling.” said Evan gently, then rub the rest of the mayonnaise on the corner of Star's lips with tissue. "Yes son?"

"What a son. Uncle made this, right?"

"No, Son. There's a special chef who made it."

"That's really cool. If I could eat this every day, I'd be big quick."

Evan's heart again felt pinched hearing Star's innocent speech.

How unfortunate this little girl was, she could even only eat her favorite food once a month.

Evan rubbed the tears at the end of his eyes, then gave Star a glass of juice. Star is very fond of melon juice, just like her.

Why am I so happy? This kid tied me to the past.

Not long after, a cafe waiter came with a medicine box. Evan grabbed the box and put it on the table. He crouches down in front of the star and begins to treat his wounds, while Star focuses only on his food. He didn't even care about the pain in his knee when Evan cleaned his wound with cotton. 

“Hmm ... The kebab is also very good. Had brother been here, he would have been very happy.” 

“You have a sister?” 

“Punya, Uncle. Mommy said we were twins.” 

Evan smiled, then sat back down on the chair after finishing treating Star's wounds. Hearing Star's words, he remembered himself and his twin brother. As children, they continued to be together everywhere and never separated. Complement each other. 

“You are very dear to your sister huh?” 

“Then, when you come home later you can ask for anything and bring home for your brother.” 

“Thank you, Uncle.”

On the other hand, Hanna walked hurriedly towards the cafe. When he was in front of the luxurious building, his steps came to a halt. Doubtful and afraid if later met the man who had entrusted the seeds of a pair of twins to him. 

“What should I do if I meet him?” Hanna's fingers squeezed each other. His heart feels beating. 

The shadows of the past were still clearly recorded in his memory. That night, while taking Evan to a room in the inn, Evan unceasingly scolded him despite being heavily drunk and unaware of who was with him. 

Hanna Cabrera, you're a cheap woman who's willing to sell your body to a rich man. You're cheap! Cheapo! 

Hanna shut down the footage that felt like it was spinning in her memory. Evan's remarks that night had tore his pride apart. He took a deep breath to meet the needs of oxygen in the lungs. Trying to strengthen her weak side as a woman. When he was able to neutralize his feelings, he stepped foot into the cafe in a hurry. 

It was no longer a problem for him to have to meet with Evan, the most important thing now was to find Star in a good state and bring her home. Hanna's gaze swept over every corner of the cafe, searching for Star's whereabouts frantically. 

 “Star!” his shout called out among the hundreds of people who crowded the cafe. 

His mind is so confused now. It was almost crazy to think where Star was. Her daughter was just a weak little girl and had a history of pneumonia. He does not have the physical strength of another child. Walking a long distance will make Star easily sick and short of breath. Moreover, after the accident he had to walk with a cane. 

“Star!” hanna shouted with all her might, so Evan turned to the source of the voice. 

Hanna's eyeballs were suddenly flooded by the clear liquid while she sat in contact with Evan. From behind the glass wall, she can see Star sitting alone with the man who is her real father in a special room. Hanna almost fell if she didn't hold on to the pillar. 

“Hanna Cabrera?” muttered Evan riveted. 

Star immediately turned her head when she heard her mommy name called. Fear began to show on the little girl's face. Her innocent mind had already guessed, that she would get a punishment from Hanna for secretly leaving the house. 

“Mommy ...” call Star makes Evan stare at them alternately.
