Me And The Rich Man's

Me And The Rich Man's
Chapter 121

Evan immersed the weak body into his embrace. Worry and guilt increasingly spread to his heart—which makes his common sense. With tears in her eyes, Evan held Hanna and laid her on the bed.

"Darling ... wake up!" Evan patted Hanna's cheek gently, then wrapped her body in a blanket when he felt the cold surface of Hanna's skin.

Before long, Elma came in a hurry to be surprised to hear Evan's scream calling Hanna's name.

“What's up, Evan?” elma walked closer to the bed. Staring worriedly at Hanna and sitting on the edge of the bed.

“Hanna fainted, Sister,” replied Evan creating a thin frown on her sister-in-law's forehead.

“What happened? Why did Hanna faint?”

“Maybe just the effect of pregnancy." With a quick movement, Evan took out some medical devices and began to check on his wife's condition.

"His blood pressure is pretty low. But he's okay. This is commonly experienced by young pregnant women.”

A smile on Elma's lips heard Evan's words. Hanna's pregnancy is certainly happy news for the Azkara family, because there will be new members in the family.

“What ... Hanna's really pregnant?"

"Yes, Brother." Evan smiled faintly, then placed the medical device on the table.

"Well, congratulations, Evan. I was expecting this last night. These few days Hanna is indeed less appetizing and a little pale.”

"Thank you, Brother. This is very good news."

"And you're gonna be a father again."

Elma looked very enthusiastic, but the happy line slowly faded after realizing how gloomy Evan's face was.

“But why are you sad? Is there a problem?”

Evan nodded slowly, then glanced at Hanna at a glance, before finally bringing Elma to sit on the sofa. As usual, like a mother Elma has always been a place for her sisters to complain. Evan grabbed a book he had hidden under the chair and gave it to Elma. And without asking much, Elma opened the first sheet of the book. Just in the first sheet alone had already made his entire body tremble.

“Evan ... this book—” Elma is powerless to continue her speech. The shock made his tongue feel stiff. He looked at Evan as if he was demanding an explanation.

“I've written that and it looks like Hanna has read it.”

“But ... how did Hanna find this book? Why are you so careless?” asked Elma still with a look of disbelief, how can Evan still keep a book containing memories that he should have thrown away.

Evan grabbed her hair with both hands. He also has no answer to that question. “I don't know, Brother. I even forgot about the book and suddenly the book is here.”

“Hanna will definitely misunderstand.” Elma handed the book back into Evan's hands. “What Hanna hasn't known about your feelings towards Naya before?”

Evan shakes. “He asked, but I didn't answer. I don't think it's necessary to bring up the past because it might just hurt her. I think burying the past in secret is enough. But it turns out—” He exhales violently, no more words can be spoken.

“Talk everything with a cool head. Tell Hanna that you love her and your feelings for Naya are just pieces of the past you've forgotten.”

"I'll explain it to him later."

Evan walked towards the bed when he heard the moans from there. Slowly Hanna began to open her eyes, she massaged her pulsating head.

Her eyeballs went around, the first thing that was present in her view was her husband's worried face. Evan too

rubbing the clear liquid at the end of his wife's eyes.

"You awake?" evan asked by stroking his hair. "What do you feel?"

"Just a little dizzy," Hanna replied in a weak voice.

"You what?" Evan clasped his hand when he saw Hanna trying to get up.

"I want to lean. Lying makes me sick."

"Alright, here I help." Evan helps her to lean on the bed by putting two pillows behind Hanna's back. "Like this is enough?"

Hanna replied with a nod of her head. My eyes were staring at Evan with sadness. Evan's gentle treatment makes him feel loved, but strangely he feels pain instead.

"Hanna, I'm so glad to hear about your pregnancy. Lots of rest, yeah .. I'll go out first. You two talk."

Just as Elma was about to come out, the door of the room was already open and gave rise to the figure of Naya. The wife of a former mobster had just arrived and was so shocked after being told by a servant that Hanna had fainted.

“Hanna ... what happened? They said you fainted. Are you sick?” Naya who was usually very cheerful now looked worried. He shifts Evan's position and hugs Hanna.

While Hanna leaned her weak body on the shoulder of her sister-in-law.

Sister Naya is a very kind and gentle woman. Am I nothing compared to him?

Did she never know about Evan's feelings for her?

And can Evan love me completely, while the woman who has been present in his life is a perfect woman like Kak Naya?
