“Sorry, I have not found them,” Evan said regretfully. He lowered his head while waiting for Hanna's next reaction. Maybe getting it will be fun.
The woman pulled up the blanket wrapped around her body, about to get off the bed, but Evan held her back. “Where are you going?”
“Release! I'm going to go find them!”
"It's still dark, Hanna. Tomorrow it continues."
"What?" Hanna stared in disbelief. "They're in danger and you're thinking of darkness? What kind of father are you?"
He beat Evan in the chest with all his might to make the man laugh. The thing that made Hanna astonished at once furious. Her children have not been found, but Evan instead invites her to joke.
"Your children have not been found and you can still laugh? Are you crazy?” Sobs were heard again, Hanna was filled with tears.
She felt the bed next to her in order to grab a pillow to beat her husband, but suddenly realized when her hand touched the figure of a small body.
“Sky ... Star!” lirih Hanna looked at her children. "You managed to find them?"
Evan smiles. "Do you think I can calm down as long as they haven't been found?"
"No, I'm sorry."
He was unable to stem the flood of tears when he realized the existence of children who had fallen asleep by his side. Even the greatest fear changed into a feeling of haru. He cried, hugged, kissed and rubbed the bodies of his children to convince his heart that he was not dreaming that his two children had returned.
“Sky ... Star ...” Ogre Hanna kissed her children's faces again and again. “What happened to them? Why is there a bandage on Sky's forehead and why does Star's body feel warm?”
Not wanting his wife to worry excessively, Evan rubbed his hair with tenderness. “Calm Hanna, they're okay. Star is just a normal fever and I've given her medicine. Sky is also okay, his forehead is just a scuff wound due to a fall earlier.”
Hanna wiped away the tears, then re-hugged her two children until all those worries disappeared completely. Replaced into an infinite sense of relief. He looked at Evan who was still sitting by his side.
Evan published a smile on his lips, though on his face was implied fatigue. Ever since Sky and Star disappeared, Evan had never rested or slept at all. He searched and searched without feeling tired.
“Why apologize?”
“Because of my selfishness. I blame you for their disappearance. Please forgive me.”
Evan shook his head slowly. “It's not that easy, Hanna Cabrera.”
Hanna's breath was restrained, looking at Evan guiltily, then lowered her head afterwards. He realized it was unfair to blame Evan. What happened was not his fault.
“You won't forgive me?”
Evan was silent for a moment, looking at Hanna intimidatingly. “You hit me here.” He pointed at his chest where Hanna was showering him with a punch. “Do you not know that it hurts?”
“Then will you reply me?”
Unable to bear with Hanna's behavior, Evan chuckled, then hugged her. His hand moved rubbing Hanna's back. He leaned his chin on the top of the woman's head. “It's okay, Honey. I understand your situation. Any mother would not be able to lose her child.”
“Thank you for finding them and bringing them safe.”
Evan took off a hug, then looked into his woman's face. A gaze that flows great love. “By the way we've been married two days, but I haven't gotten anything but an attack from you.”
“Then I have to what?”
Evan touched both sides of Hanna's cheeks and stared at her intensely. Lean his face until the remaining distance of one finger. Hanna froze, as if trapped in that gaze.
“Besok. I'm very tired right now. Just get your energy ready for tomorrow night!"
