Alif's remorse

The clock shows at 15:00 wib. Alif who was in a villa looked agitated. Look at his watch many times. The meeting that was planned to be held at 13:30 was even delayed because until now the client who was waiting had not yet arrived.

" Oh!!! Damn it!!! Mona try to call Mr. Anish!!!!" His orders to Mona

" Sir, there is no signal here." replied Mona.

" Why can???" Said Alif while hitting the table in front of him. Mona was shocked, she closed her eyes for fear of seeing Alif who was angry

" There is no sir..." Answer Mona quietly

" I have dinner tonight at 7 o'clock with my wife!! Call Rico!!" Mona quickly went out to call Rico.

Rico shows up soon, though,

" Yes sir??"

" How many hours drive home from here....? "

"I think it's 4 hours drive, sir...."

" But sir.it's a weekend, like the streets will be jammed from afternoon...." Answer Rico

" And then??" Alif stared at the face of Alif who looked down

" eehhm.. mungkiiinnn. can be 6-7 hours drive" said Rico hesitating, fearing that his boss could get angry.

" Oahhh!!!! Damn it!!! We're going home now!!! I don't want my wife to be disappointed if I don't come!!" Alif wants to leave Villa

" But Sir.... Mr. Anish our important buyer. We could lose a big contract with him if we cancel this meeting..." Mona said her footsteps stopped

"Ohhhhhh!!!!! " Alif yelled annoyed and beat the HP he was holding. The phone broke up on the floor

He sat back in the chair. His mind was floating thinking of his wife.

Shortly thereafter, the long-awaited buyer arrived. Alif tried professionally when dealing with this important Buyer, he did not want this mess to make the company lose. After an hour, the meeting was over. Alif also say goodbye to Mr. Anish and immediately headed to the car in a hurry.

Alif again imagined Nisa who was waiting for him using the clothes he had bought.

He fingered his pouch, took out a box containing a beautiful necklace with a heart-shaped pendant inscribed with his name and the name of Anisa, which he planned to give to his wife. Alif clasped tightly onto the necklace.

" Why is the road so long!!" He said to Rico

" It's still jammed sir..." Answer Rico Slowly

" What's.. I'm riding a motorcycle??" Out of nowhere arrived a crazy idea popped up in his brain

" Sir, our journey is still quite far, anyways outside the rain is quite heavy, you can be sick if you ride a motorcycle" replied Mona
