Chapter 63: Lemon Cake

Arsi who was shocked tried to circulate his eyes to some employees who were helping him make cakes in the kitchen. Ngarsinah brought her mouth closer to Yuni's ear so she could whisper safely. 

“You noticed that Yun, when I and the kids met him at the restaurant, and Arya scolded him because David kept looking at me. I don't want him to bother us,” said Arsi in response to the whispers of her best friend, with a nod of understanding Yuni passed and left the kitchen. 

Heading to the store, Yuni passed the twin boys who were busy watching television while snacking. Yuni seduces them by taking food that is ready to enter Arya's mouth. 

“Tanteee! kemutin ..” cried Arya while laughing and chasing Yuni into the store. They always like that to judge each other and eventually laugh together, often they also roll around so much. 

Arya kept screaming, and caught the attention of David who was talking seriously with Bram. ‘That boy, right who met yesterday at the restaurant? ohh turns out he is the owner of this store, meaning Arsi also often comes here, the inner’ of David in his heart after a while watching Yuni and Arya who are joking. 

It just so happened that the store was not having any customers coming, so the two of them relaxed for a moment jokingly. Yuni, who always wears a mask while standing guard at the store, David's maker doesn't recognize him. 

David's conversation with Bram was over, the bule-faced man was most pleased with the lemon cake, and somehow when the last mouthful of the cake he ordered earlier, he said, he remembered the familiar taste on his tongue. 

‘Cake this tastes exactly like Arsi's handmade, all this time I ate everywhere recently I found the exact taste with his handmade,’ Bram murmured in the heart. The man wondered in his mind what this store had to do with his ex-wife who was now able to get her heart racing again. 

“Pak David, tomorrow can I receive a sample of the goods? if it can pass, we will sign a cooperation contract for two years.” 

Bram cut off David's daydream after the man finished his iced chocolate drink. Bram looked at David who was daydreaming, just smiling. Bram thought, David was enjoying a lemon cake that looked clean on his plate. 

“Eh yes sir, I will give you his sample and be ready to gaffer compare with others.” replied David a little nervous. The man enjoyed his drink. 

“Where is the taste of lemon cake sir David?” tanya Bram is just a stale base as well as a customer poll for correction materials for Arsi and Yuni. Bram no longer chasing Arsi after knowing his best friend first get the heart of the beautiful widow. Now Bram is getting closer to Yuni, too often communicating makes the two adults feel comfortable with each other.

“This is the best lemon cake Mr. Bram, I am indeed a fan of lemon cake and from all the cake shops I have bought this is the best.”

Yuni who could listen to Bram and David talk smiled thinly behind her mask. Although Yuni is currently busy serving buyers, but her ears continue to be well attached to listen to their conversation. 

Arya who was still in the store, hearing her mama cake get praise from a man feeling disturbed, quickly the little man turned his head. With slightly squinted eyes to clarify his vision, the little man felt that he knew who the man who had praised earlier was. Slowly Arya approached the table of the two handsome men.  

“Hai om, we meet again,” greet Arya cold, Bram who saw Arya standing nearby quickly scooped up the small body and took her to sit on her lap. Arya complied and gave a smile to om bram, her papa friend. 

“I'm here because om praises this lemon cake, thanks for the praise om. But I do not like it if om praise it excessively yes,” Arya replied by asserting about the purpose that came to their table and did not forget to slip a threat to David. Bram who heard that chuckled because the man judged it funny. 

“Arya, why would David praise his excessive lemon cake?” bram asked, Arya smiled broadly showing off her row of white teeth just toothless one. David is also amused by Aryan's threats. 

“Arya is jealous om,” the answer is short and certainly makes the two adult men laugh out loud. Arya just smiled she was not angrily laughed at, for her to reveal her heart was more important at this time and the om bule had to know it. 

“Oohh sorry little boss, I will obey you. May I know why you're jealous when I praise this cake?” david asked with a developed smile, the man's heart warmed to see Arya's chattering. 

“Because it's made by my special lady, om!” arya replied loudly and coldly. What an answer that was beyond the predictions of the two adult men. Ngarsinah who came to Arista in the television room heard the laughter of adults and children, with the woman's slow steps peering from the inside of the house. 

After taking a quick look at the store, Ngarsinah saw the togetherness of David, Bram and Arya. The woman stepped back and lifted up Arista's body which was already sound asleep on the sofa. 

Without feeling the time passed, now Arya has followed her sister to take a nap, Arsi and Yuni and all the employees of the bakery ‘Why A’ are busy with their respective duties. Today Rangga came home quickly because there was something he wanted to discuss with Arsi, at five in the afternoon the handsome man had parked his car in the parking lot of the bakery. 

After finishing the Ashar prayer, the man asked Arsi to sit with him. The delicious snacks served by the prospective wife did not escape the target of her hand, after tasting the light snack, Rangga was ready to talk. 

“Honey, I want to discuss about our wedding date, have you specified it?” asked Rangga by looking at Arsi full of cambas. 

“Mas yesterday mama will ask immediately, if the wedding is simple I think it does not take long to prepare it. How do you want?” Ask Arsi, the woman actually wants a simple marriage so that not much costs come out, after all the condition of those who are widows and widows. 

“Hmmm .. I follow how to make you comfortable dear, which is important is legitimate. Inviting relatives and some close relatives I think it is enough.”
