Love Wrong Target

Love Wrong Target
Chapter 46 Return to Critical

The doctor who examined Alena came out of the room with a serious face because the condition of the patient in her hands was quite alarming.

"with Alena's patient's family?" call the doctor after just coming out of the nursery door Alena.

"i'm the doctor's brother" said Rafka as he rushed to the doctor.

"this sir, the patient's condition suddenly dropped. it seems that surgery must be done now to help him" said Dr. Harun.

"well doctor, if it is the best course of action, then please do as soon as possible" said Rafka resigned. While Namira looks like holding back tears knowing the deteriorating condition of her sister-in-law.

Then Alvan? He just stood glued with a flat facial expression. No one knew what was on the man's mind.

"well, we'll take immediate action as soon as possible. Please sign the letter of approval of the surgery and also pay off the entire cost according to the procedure" the doctor said while correcting the slightly sagging eyeglasses.

"well doctor, thanks for the information" Rafka said.

"same-sama sir" replied Dr. Aaron.

The doctor went to get ready for the operation. And Rafka seemed to be half running towards the administration to complete all the requirements before performing the surgery that will be done by his sister.

Suddenly Namira's tears just spilled. He was very worried about his sister-in-law. But she also hopes and always prays for Alena's salvation and healing.

Alvan who saw Namira was sad like that, felt heartless. He approaches Namira and tries to calm her down.

"don't be sad Namira, everything will be fine. We better pray for Alena's recovery so that the operation goes smoothly" said Alvan, wiping Namira's tears.

The woman looked at Alvan for a moment who was looking at her gently. It felt like Namira's heart felt a bit of a strange vibration, but she tried to deny it. This is not a good time to think about anything else. Because nothing is more important than Alena's recovery.

Namira turned her gaze in the other direction and tried to neutralize her feelings by pulling and exhaling regularly.

"are you okay Namira?" asked Alvan who was looking at Namira's slightly strange movements.

"i don't know why, Van" elak Namira covered up her feelings.

*I know you feel the same way as I did when we were close together like Namira..

I know there's still love in your heart even though we're no longer together..

But why is it like you're denying and dodging all of Namira? whyyy?!*

Alvan looked at Namira at a glance, in fact, he was very understanding of what Namira was feeling now, but he just kept it in his heart, because he thought that was the best for now.

He felt that he was not worthy enough to know it all, because he was just a husband who was never loved by his wife. The marriage relationship and Namira is only limited to agreement and status. And maybe that's what he'll live forever.

Or at worst they'll split up if the time comes, and if Namira wants it.

That's the only word he can do right now. After all now she should focus on Alena's health, not on her feelings.

The door to Alena's room was wide open, with two nurses pushing Alena's gurney into the operating room, where an expert was waiting for her inside. Because after the requirements for the operating procedure are sorted out, surgery can be done right now.

According to the doctor, Alena had to perform the surgery as soon as possible because otherwise, it could threaten the girl's safety. Of course they all don't want to take the risk that's very dangerous for Alena's life.

Rafka, Namira and Alvan follow behind the medics who take Alena to follow her to the operating room. Although not allowed to enter, but at least they will be calmer if not far from Alena.

After arriving at the room, the sisters entered with Alena, then the door was closed tightly again.

The light above the operating room door was on, a sign of the operation action was taking place inside. Rafka, Namira and Alvan can only wait, without being able to do anything meaningful, while praying in the heart so that everything goes smoothly, so that Alena can recover again as usual.

Rafka looks like an iron that moves back and forth many times like a person who is confused in an uncertain direction. Actually he was just agitated, he was worried for the safety of Alena who was at stake on the operating table.

While Namira chose to sit down while continuing to read the prayer that he could, any prayer he said for the healing of his sister-in-law. With the sadness he could still feel.

And Alvan just sat with a million hopes in his heart. I hope everything will be okay. Because he did not want Namira to get hurt and continue to blame him for the actions that are not entirely wrong.

The three of them waited for him with an erratic feeling, constantly thinking ahead of him.

*What should I do after this?!

I wouldn't have the heart to hurt Alena again..

Then do I have to obey Alena's request and forget Namira? of course it will be very difficult, because the name Namira has been engraved in the deepest trough of my heart and will not be erased as easily as that*..

Alvan was in a dilemma with his feelings. He couldn't have hurt Alena again. But it was also impossible for him to force the feeling of love, because all he loved was Namira, nothing else.

The gap in Alvan's heart seemed to be closed by a name that always filled his heart and mind. Only Namira makes her fall in love, only Namira makes her days feel beautiful, and only Namira also makes her come to know what love and sincerity are.

For Alvan, there is not a single woman in the world like Namira. And it would be impossible to find him.

Whatever happens later, Alvan can only wish the best for everyone as well as for himself.

If you can ask for one wish, Alvan wants his life back to how it used to be when he was happy because there was Namira who was always by his side. And also when the life he lived there were no problems and complexities that occurred. Where in his life there is only Namira and himself. Unlike today, he felt that many problems had befallen them.
