Jaka Tarub And Seven Angels

In ancient times there lived a young man named Jaka Tarub in a village in Central Java. He lives with his mother, who is commonly called Mbok Milah. His father died a long time ago. Jaka Tarub and Mbok Milah farm rice in the rice fields

One night, in the middle of his deep sleep, Jaka Tarub dreamed of getting the wife of a beautiful angel from heaven. Once awakened and realizing that it was all just a dream, Jaka Tarub smiled to himself.

Even so, the beautiful dream just now still loomed in his memory. Jaka Tarub can't sleep anymore. He came out and sat in the sinking house in front of his house staring at the stars in the sky. Didn't feel the rooster crowed the morning mark

The newly awakened Mbok Milah realizes that Jaka Tarub is not home. As soon as he looked out the window, he saw his only child was daydreaming. “What my son daydreamed was”, thought Mbok Milah

He guessed that maybe Jaka Tarub was thinking about getting married. His age is more than enough. Even her average peers are married. His thoughts made Mbok Milah intend to help Jaka Tarub find a wife

In the afternoon when Mbok Milah was in the rice field, arrived when Pak Ranu, the owner of the next rice field, approached him. “Mbok Milah, why is your child not married yet?”, asked Mr. Ranu to open a conversation. “Entahlah”, Mbok Milah said while recalling the incident earlier this morning. “There are you asking that Mr Ranu ?”, Mbok asked Milah. He was a little surprised why Mr. Ranu was interested in his son's personal life. “It's okay Mbok Milah. I intend to match your son with my son Laraswati”, replied Mr. Ranu.

Mbok Milah was surprised to hear Mr. Ranu's intentions were just expressed. He's very happy. Laraswati is a beautiful girl who said softly. He was convinced that Jaka Tarub wanted to make Laraswati his wife.

However, Mbok Milah does not want to precede his son to make a decision. However, he realized that Jaka Tarub was an adult and had his own desires. “I agree Mr. Ranu. But we should ask first to our respective children”, said Mbok Milah sage. Mr. Ranu nodded. He thought what Mbok Milah said was true

It is also possible that Jaka Tarub has had a future wife who has not been introduced to him. Over time Mbok Milah forgot his original intention.

Jaka Tarub is a young man who enjoys hunting. He is also a good hunter. His skills were acquired from his late father.

Jaka Tarub was often invited to hunt by his father from childhood. That morning Jaka Tarub was ready to hunt into the forest. Bows, arrows, knives and swords had been prepared. She paid a respects to her mother.

Mbok Milah looks ordinary just to let go of Jaka Tarub. He hoped that his son would bring home a big tackle that they could eat in the next few days.

Shortly thereafter, Mbok Milah went into his room. He intended to rest for a moment before leaving for the rice field. Understand, Mbok Milah is old.

It did not take long in the middle of the forest, Jaka Tarub managed to shoot a dangler. Heart's happy. Soon he shouldered the challenge and intended to go home soon. Bad luck seems to be approaching. While walking, suddenly appeared a leopard in front of Jaka Tarub.
