Once upon a time there lived a young man named Galoran. He is among those who are respected because of the wealth and rank of his parents. But Galoran is very lazy and wasteful. Everyday his work only squandered his parents' property, even when his parents died he increasingly often frolic. Therefore, over time, the treasure of his parents was exhausted. However, it did not make Galoran aware as well, even time spent just lazing and walking around. The villagers saw it. But whenever anyone offered him a job, Galoran just ate and slept without doing the job. But finally the galoran was picked up by a widow to be enough to be his life companion. This makes Galoran very happy ; “Pucuk loved ulam also arrived”, Galoran thought.


The widow had a daughter who was very diligent and good at weaving, her name was Jambean. So good is Jambean weave until it is known throughout the hamlet. But Galoran really hated his stepson, because often Jambean reprimanded him for always lazing.


Galoran's hatred was so deep, that he planned the murder of his own stepson. He sharply said to his wife : ” Hi, Nyai, how dare Jambean to me. How dare he advise his parents! One day as usual they went to look for wood and taro leaves, they pretended to leave and then after walking some distance they immediately returned to sneak into the kitchen. Since then the Golden Conch helped the two brothers by weaving. The weaving was so beautiful and good that it was famous for the weaving throughout the country, and the two widows became richer from day to day
