
Indonesian Fairy Tale: The Story of Raden Budog
Long ago. There was a traveler named Raden Budog who came from the South Sea. He lives with his beloved Dog and Horse. Wherever he goes, his dog and his horse always come along.
One day, Raden Budog dreams of meeting a very beautiful girl. For days, the girl's face always shook her mind. Finally, he decided to find the girl. Before leaving, he brought a machete and a grindstone. He rode on his favorite horse. His faithful dog walked in front as a guide.
After a few days of walking. He had not found the girl, the Dog and the Horse were very tired. However, Raden Budog still wants to continue his journey. They climb the hill and pass through the rocky road. However, when he arrived at Gunug Walang, suddenly his favorite horse fell. Raden Budog fell down, they rolled on the mountainside. Raden Budog grimaced in pain, all over his body filled with wounds.
They rest for a moment. Raden Budog ate the food he was carrying. While the Horse ate the grass and the Dog ran after the prey. After enough rest they continued their journey. Raden Budog saw his horse torn. The saddle was no longer usable and finally, Raden Budog walked on foot and guided his Horse.
They walked to an area called Tali Alas which is now known as Pilar. They continue to walk until they arrive at Cawar Beach, the scenery is very beautiful and the sea water is very clear. Finally Raden Budog threw himself and swam. Fresh sea water relieves fatigue.

They are acquainted and familiar. Soon they became lovers. At first Nyi Siti did not approve of their relationship because she did not know the origin of Raden Budog. However, he saw his daughter was very happy together with the man. He gave up and approved of their relationship.
Raden Budog and Sri Poh Haci are married. After marriage the habit of Sri Poh Haci playing Ngagondang is not also lost. Even now Raden Budog is playing it. Raden Budog always wants to play dimples every day. He also wants to play on Friday. His wife, in-laws and neighbors have tried to ban him. Raden Budog did not listen and insisted on playing.
Eagerly he sprinkled the dimples. He jumped to and fro following the sound of dimples.
