The Worrying News

Night had descended on Qinglian Village, and a gentle breeze hit the dancing trees. Lee Xian, a stern-faced young man with black hair dangling on his shoulders, sat inside the middle room of the guyon college located on the edge of the village. He was pondering, focusing on the jade ball in his hand that gave off a calm light.

Suddenly, the door of the college opened violently, and a villager entered with gasping breaths. "Lee Xian's! Lee Xian!" he said, "We have bad news!"

Xian raised his face and placed his jade ball carefully. "What's going on?"

The villager sat in front of Xian, his face looking anxious. "Little boy, Xiao Ming, whom you once met in the desert, he disappeared! We heard that he was in danger in a dangerous forest."

Xian immediately got up from his seat, his expression solemn. "Xiao Ming's? How come?"

"We don't know exactly" the villager replied, "But we were very worried. We need your help, Lee Xian. You're the only one who can save him."

Xian pondered for a moment, then resolutely said, "Of course, I will go save him. I'll ask my students for help." He immediately went to look for Cin Xiu and Mei Mei, his loyal disciples.

Moments later, they gathered in the middle room of the guyon college. Cin Xiu, a young lady with a magic whip who was always on her waist, looked solemn. May Mei, the cheerful girl with eyes that always sparkle, is also ready to act.

Xian explained the situation quickly. "Xiao Ming, the little boy I met in the desert, disappeared, and we heard that he was in danger. I need your help to save him."

Cin Xiu nodded, "We are ready to help you, Master. We need to act fast."

Mei Mei smiled brightly, "No problem! We will bring Xiao Ming back safely."

They immediately prepared, gathering the necessary supplies and preparations for their journey. The night wind was still blowing quietly outside, and the full moon adorned the sky with its beauty.

Cin Xiu and Mei Mei tried to teach Xiao Ming some basic cultivation techniques in a funny way. The two of them surrounded the small-looking Xiao Ming between them.

Xian, Cin Xiu, and Mei Mei had entered the vast and hostile desert. The dusty wind and sand that hit them made the journey even more difficult. They decided to continue moving carefully, keeping their eyes open for any signs of danger.

Suddenly, a fierce sandstorm appeared in the sky. Clouds of dust and sand swirled around, covering the sun and creating a thick fog. They immediately sought shelter to protect themselves from a sharp dust attack.

"Quick! We need to find shelter!" Xian shouted through the strong wind.

They ran to a large rock lying in the middle of the desert and took refuge behind it. A strong gust of wind hit the rock, and they tried to keep their eyes closed.

Cin Xiu looked towards Xian and Mei Mei and said, "We have to be patient. This sandstorm will pass."

Mei Mei replied anxiously, "But what if Xiao Ming was out there? He might be in danger!"

Xian tried to calm Mei Mei down, "We will find out after this storm has passed. What matters now is we stay safe."

They waited patiently, and after some time, the sandstorm began to subside. The clouds of dust and sand slowly dwindled, and the sunlight shone again.

They continued their journey through the desert which now seemed calmer. However, they were aware that danger was still lurking around them. Strange desert creatures emerge from the hot sand, trying to disrupt their journey.

Mei Mei took out her sacred whip and deftly slaughtered the creatures. "We need to be vigilant. These creatures may not be big, but they're very cunning."

Cin Xiu with the magic whip in his hand also helped, "We should keep pace and not let them get close to us."

They kept moving, cutting their way through the desert creatures that kept coming. The mysterious traps left behind by their enemies also make the journey even more dangerous. They should be wary of traps that can appear at any time under the sand.

Cin Xiu warned them, "Don't step on just any land. It could be a trap."

Mei Mei pointed towards the traces in the sand and said cheerfully, "If we don't want to get stuck, we should walk carefully like cats! Like this!" He began to tread lightly, following in his own footsteps.

Cin Xiu smiled and replied with a joke, "Unfortunately, Mei Mei, this stone is just an ordinary stone. But we can take her home as a memento!"

All three of them laughed cheerfully, even though they knew that danger still threatened them in this fierce desert. With a strong determination and high spirit, they continued their journey, ready to face all the challenges that lay ahead.
