Exercises for Opera

The atmosphere of the training in the great hall of the Golden Palace was very different from the previous training room. The room is filled with gleaming costumes and accessories, as well as a group of talented actors and actresses who have long been involved in martial arts history operas. Xian felt a little awkward as he entered the room full of glitter.

An experienced director stands in the middle of the stage, guiding actors and actresses in practicing their movements and dialogues. "Well, let's start over!" he said with a loud voice.

Xian sat in one of the empty seats in the corner of the stage, trying to understand the storyline of the opera. He has been told that the opera will depict the history of the martial world, and he will play one of the important characters in the story.

The director handed out the script to the cast, and they started reading it diligently. Xian tried hard to follow, although he still felt a bit stiff in reading the script in a language he did not fully understand.

As the practice began, Xian felt fascinated by the abilities of the actors and actresses. They described the battle scenes with movements that were so smooth and beautiful, as if they were actually on the battlefield. He was also impressed by their emotional and dramatic dialogues.

After several hours of practice, Xian's turn to act. She will play the character of Princess Lotus, a woman who becomes a hero in the story. The costume that had been prepared for her was a pink dress with beautiful floral decorations.

Xian wore the costume hesitantly, feeling uneasy about the feminine outfit. He stood in front of a large mirror and tried to adjust to a different role to himself.

The director called him to go on stage. "Now, Xian, let's see how you can play the Lotus Princess. Remember, this character is a brave and powerful hero!"

With a hint of courage, Xian took to the stage with a gallant move. He tried to follow the director's instructions and move around with a gurgle, like a princess should. However, he felt that every move he made was too clumsy and did not match his personality.

The other actors and actresses who saw him started to exchange glances, and some of them were stifled with laughter. Xian felt increasingly nervous and misbehaved.

The moment he entered the battle scene, he had to lift a fake sword that was quite heavy. However, due to his unusual costume, he had trouble lifting the sword properly. Finally, he jumped with excessive energy, swinging his sword with vigor.

Suddenly, his fake sword slipped out of Xian's hand and flew into the air. Everyone in the room held their breaths, and the sword circled around before falling right before the director's feet.

Xian felt flushed as he stared at the detached sword, and then saw the shocked expressions on the faces of everyone in the room. The director took a deep breath and said, "Alright, let's try again. Remember, it's just a practice."

They tried the scene many times, but each time Xian felt even more clumsy than before. She kept misbehaving the feminine princess costume and felt like she was not the right person for this role.

After the rehearsal was over, Xian went to the director. "I'm sorry, Mr. Director," he said in embarrassment. "I don't know how to play this character well."

The director smiled and replied, "It's okay, Xian. It's just an exercise, and you're still learning. What matters is your passion and dedication. We'll keep practicing and you'll get better as time goes on."

Xian was comforted by the director's words of encouragement. She may not have a natural talent for acting in opera, but she is sure that with enough practice, she can portray the character of Princess Lotus well. Persevering, he returned to his seat to wait for the next exercise.

The rehearsals for the opera continued, and although Xian continued to face some mistakes and jokes from his comrades, he never lost his spirit. She knows that her role in this opera is part of her new journey in the martial world, and she is ready to face it with the passion and humor that always sticks with her.

The night had arrived, and the grand theatre of the Golden Palace was filled with excited spectators. They came from various martial schools and clans to witness the highly anticipated opera performances of martial arts world history. The stage is magnificently decorated, and the backdrop depicts a vast battlefield, complete with replicas of historic buildings.

Xian, who had spent months training for her role as Princess Lotus, was nervous as she wore a graceful pink dress. He stood behind the curtain of the stage, getting ready for his first appearance.

As the curtains opened, the audience greeted with a standing ovation. The show begins with a dramatic battle scene, in which Xian appears as a brave hero fighting for justice. He followed the director's instructions and tried to follow the storyline seriously.

However, as the show continued, Xian began to feel something strange. Some scenes look very similar to the actual events that took place in the martial world. The scenes depict an evil plan to rule the martial world and overthrow the rightful ruler.

Xian tried to understand what he was witnessing. He could not ignore his feelings that this opera had a much deeper secret message than it seemed. However, he also knew that he could not interrupt the show in front of a very enthusiastic audience.

As the scene neared its peak, Xian had to sing a song depicting the despair and struggle of his character. He stood in the middle of the stage, took a deep breath, and began to sing.

However, when he opened his mouth, the lyrics of the song suddenly disappeared from his memory. He was speechless, trying to find words that had completely disappeared just like that. Panic began to creep up inside her, and she felt terrified.

The spectators in the theater held their breaths, waiting for Xian to continue. However, Xian could not hold back anymore. Unknowingly, he began to sing the village song he used to hear in his village. A song about chickens and ducks, about a simple and carefree life.

Xian felt even more panicked as he sang the village song excitedly. He knew that he had made a big mistake, but there was no other way to deal with this situation other than with humor.

When the song was over, the audience gave a standing ovation and cheers. They may be surprised and laugh, but they also appreciate Xian's courage to overcome his mistakes in a funny way.

The director backstage gestured for the show to resume. Xian continued his role excitedly, despite still feeling embarrassed by the mistakes he had made.

During the show, Xian continues to look for signs of evil plans that he believes are hidden in the opera. He tried to understand the message behind the actors' words and movements. Although she did not know for sure, she felt increasingly convinced that there was something that needed to be revealed.

When the curtains come down at the end of the show, the audience gives a standing ovation. They might have laughed and been amused, but Xian felt that there was something deeper that he needed to investigate.

After the show ended, Xian tried to find a director to talk to him. He wanted to find out more about the secret messages in the opera and whether it had anything to do with the ongoing intrigues and conspiracies in the martial world. Xian had entered a world of politics and struggles far more complicated than he thought, and he was prepared to face them with his unwavering passion and determination.

Night had descended on the Golden Palace, and Xian walked through the dark and desolate corridors. He felt burdened by the knowledge of the conspiracy that was taking place in the martial world. The opera performances he witnessed have given him important clues about the evil plan that wants to rule the martial world.

Xian knew that he could not face it alone. He must find allies who can help him uncover these conspiracies and stop them before it's too late. He had heard the news of a mysterious cultivator living in the wilderness, nicknamed "The World's Saviour." Despite the strange and mysterious news, Xian felt that it was time to seek help.

He arrived before the door made of a large, sturdy wood. He knocked carefully, waiting anxiously. The door slowly opened, and a long-bearded and plain-clothed man appeared in front of him.

"Who are you?" asked the man with sharp eyes examining Xian.

"I am Xian, the young man from the village," Xian replied respectfully. "I'm gonna need your help. I've learned of a great conspiracy that wants to rule the martial world, and I believe you're the only one who can help me stop it."

The man was silent for a moment, as if he was considering Xian's request. Then, with a slow nod of his head, he said, "Come in."

Xian followed the man into his humble home. Inside, he looked at the intricate cultivation equipment and the books that filled the wooden shelves. This place was truly a place reserved for a person who was deeply immersed in the art of cultivation.

The man sat down on the wooden table and looked at Xian intently. "Tell me everything" he said.

Xian told him everything he knew about the conspiracy he had witnessed during the opera performance. He explains how the scenes in the show seem to depict a sinister plot to rule the martial world.

The man listened seriously, and after Xian finished speaking, he said, "This is very serious news. I have also heard about this plan, and I have prepared myself to deal with it. I'm willing to help you, Xian, but this is an arduous and dangerous task. Are you ready to face it?"

Xian felt his heart full of excitement. "I'm ready, Mr. World's Savior. I will do whatever it takes to expose this conspiracy and save the martial world."

The man smiled, and for the first time, his expression looked lighter. "Alright, we'll plan the next steps. But first, there's something we have to do."

He took something from his wooden desk drawer and gave it to Xian. It was a gigantic mask with a ridiculous expression.

"Use this as an attempt of disguise" said the man. "When you search for allies or run secret missions, you will need to go undercover. This mask will make you harder to spot."

Xian felt a bit strange wearing a giant mask with a silly expression on his face, but he understood the importance of disguise. He put the mask on his face and tried to look serious.

However, when he saw his own face in the mirror, he laughed instead. The mask made him look more striking than before.

The man also smiled looking at Xian. "Remember, Xian, humor is a powerful weapon. Sometimes, your cheerfulness can be your best protection. Now, let's plan the next steps."

They sit together at a wooden table, plotting how they will uncover this conspiracy and stop a sinister plot that wants to rule the martial world. Xian may have been wearing a silly mask, but he knew that this struggle was a serious one, and he was ready to face it with his unwavering vigor and determination.
