Dragon Stone

Early in the morning, sunlight slowly appeared on the eastern horizon. Mei, Xian, and Thio Ling had continued their journey in search of the ancient artifact, the Dragon Stone. They had walked away from the shelter overnight and were now in the middle of a vast open plain.

As they walked across the vast prairie, the conversation between them continued. They discussed their search strategy and what they knew about the location of the Dragon Stone.

Xian said, "According to the information I obtained, the Dragon Stone is believed to be in a remote mountainous region in the north here. But we don't have a definitive clue as to where exactly."

Mei nodded. "Right, that's why we should find out more information from the locals if there is one."

Thio Ling added, "We must be careful in searching for this artifact. The power it possesses can be extremely dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands."

As they continued walking, they began to see signs of human life in the distance. There is a small village located on the hillside. They decided to approach the village to find more information.

When they arrived at the village, the locals greeted them kindly. Mei, Xian, and Thio Ling explain that they are on a quest for an ancient artifact called the Dragon Stone and ask for clues if there are any.

A wise old man in the village approached them. "Dragon Stone?" she said softly. "You guys came to look for the Dragon Stone?"

They nodded. "Yes, we need it very much. Do you know anything about him?"

The old master nodded. "The "Dragon Stone is an ancient artifact that is believed to possess extraordinary powers. But the location is very hidden. Few know where he is."

The three of them were disappointed to hear it. However, the old master smiled and continued, "But I have an idea. There was a guide in this village who had once explored the mountains in the north. Maybe he can help you."

They are grateful for their offer of help. Soon, they are introduced to the guide, a young man named Li Wei. He seemed experienced and eager to help.

Li Wei explained, "I've climbed mountains in the north, and I've heard stories about the Dragon Stone. But I have to tell you, the journey there is very dangerous. The mountains are full of dangerous creatures and difficult terrain."

Xian replied, "We know that this mission is dangerous, but we have to find the Dragon Stone. It's for everyone's good."

After further discussion, they made their itinerary to the northern mountains. They would start the journey tomorrow morning and gather the necessary supplies.

As night fell, they gathered around a bonfire outside the village. They told me about their experiences during their journey as cultivators and about the reason they joined the White Sand.

However, as the sound got closer, they saw something they had not expected. A gigantic creature that seemed to be made of stone was running towards them at high speed. The creature had glittering eyes and strong-looking skin.

They stood on alert, not knowing what would happen next. However, the creature suddenly stopped in front of them and spoke in an echoing voice, "Don't worry, I won't hurt you. I'm the Guardian of the Mountains, and I've come to give you protection."

Mei, Xian, Thio Ling, and Li Wei looked at each other expectantly. With the protection of the Guardian of the Mountains, they might have a better chance of finding the ancient artifacts they were looking for.

They all felt excited and prepared to continue their journey to the northern mountains tomorrow morning. With the added protection of the Guardian of the Mountains, their adventure will be even more exciting and full of surprises. And that way, they all looked to the future with strong hope and determination.

The next morning, Mei, Xian, Thio Ling, and Li Wei were getting ready to continue their journey to the northern mountains. The Guardian of the Mountains who had accompanied them all night would be their guide in this difficult and dangerous terrain.
