Scaly Skin Creatures

The black-robed man looked solemn as he investigated the injuries of the child. He examined the child's body closely, then finally nodded. "He's not dangerous" he told his troops. "His injuries were severe, and it seemed like he was the only survivor of the attack."

Mei, who was still taking care of the child, raised her head. "We arrived here just a moment ago, so we don't know what happened to this village. But we're willing to help this kid."

The black-robed man watched them closely. "Alright, if you are not involved in the destruction of this village, we may need your help. This village is one of our outposts, and we're at war with an evil army that wants to take over the region."

Xian exclaimed, "We are ready to help! We won't stay silent if there's a crime going on before our eyes."

Thio Ling added, "We are the White Sand Army, and our duty is to protect the weak and fight evil in this world."

The black-robed man nodded. "Well, you will cooperate with our forces to drive the evil army out of the region. However, you must be willing to follow our orders."

They all agreed seriously. They know that this task will be difficult, but they are ready to face it.

The black-robed men immediately organized them and gave them the weapons they needed. They then moved towards the line of troops ready for battle.

During the battle, Mei, Xian, Thio Ling, Lu Chen, and Jiang Feng showed their skills. Mei with her speed and accuracy in using her sword, Xian with her skill in archery, Thio Ling with her magic, Lu Chen with the skill of leading an army, and Jiang Feng with his incredible physical strength.

They talk to each other in battle, give instructions, and protect each other. Although the evil army was strong, they could not rival their compactness and ability.

The black-robed man looked at their actions attentively. He then said to them, "You guys are amazing fighters. I don't know how we can thank you for your help."

Mei smile. "We just do what's right, what we have to do. We can't stand idly by when there's a crime happening before our eyes."

After the battle was over, they all returned to the burning village. The black-robed man, whom they later learned was named Zephyrus, said they had to find out who was responsible for the attack.

They began to investigate the ruins of the village, looking for signs that could give clues. They find pieces of clothing and weapons that may belong to the evil forces. They also found signs of black magic used in the attack.

Lu Chen concluded, "This is a strong and well-organized army. They must have had a great leader."

Zephyrus added, "It may have something to do with the labyrinth guard earlier. They may be part of the same army that wants to stop you."

Suddenly, Jiang Feng picked up the little guitar he was carrying and started playing it. He played cheerful songs, and his friends soon joined in the chants.

They spent the night comfortably and happily, removing a little of the burden they felt as warriors. Although they know that there are still many struggles to face, they also know that they have friends who will always be there to support each other.

They all agreed. Their mission is an important mission, and they are committed to completing it successfully. After talking to the Zephyrus, they continued their night by singing and laughing around the campfire.

However, in the midst of their cheerfulness, a surprise came. They heard the sound of heavy and strange footsteps approaching from the darkness of the night. They all immediately stood up and prepared for an unknown threat.

From the darkness came a terrifying creature. The creature had black skin, scaly skin, and fiery red eyes. They realize that this is the evil army they're looking for. But more surprisingly, one of the creatures was the labyrinth guard they had faced before.

Lu Chen said firmly, "You guys won't get away this time! We'll beat you!"

The creatures smiled cunningly, and the battle began under the pale moonlight.
