Shadow of the Past

The next morning, Xian, Cin Xiu, and Mei Mei gathered in the main hall of the college. They were ready to talk to Zhang, the student who had broken some of the rules of the college. The room was silent, only the sound of water splashing from the shower in the corner of the room.

Cin Xiu looked at Mei Mei and Xian. "We must be firm but fair in dealing with this issue. Zhang is part of our college family, and we should give him a chance to correct his behavior."

Mei Mei nodded in agreement, "I agree, but also have to make sure that she understands the impact of her actions. This is an opportunity for us to teach our college values."

Xian conveyed his gaze, "Alright, let's wait for Zhang here and talk to him."

They don't have to wait long. Zhang soon arrived at the main hall, his face filled with anxiety. He knew that he had broken the rules, and now had to face the consequences.

Cin Xiu signaled Zhang to sit down. "Zhang, we're all here to talk about some of your recent actions. Some students have reported that you have broken some of our college rules."

Zhang lowered his head, feeling embarrassed. "I'm sorry, Master Cin Xiu. I know I've done something wrong."

Mei Mei spoke softly, "We don't want to punish you, Zhang. We want to help you understand how important the rules and ethics of our college are. This college is our family, and we all have to take good care of it."

Xian added, "You are part of this college, and we want you to grow up to be a wise and responsible student. We'll give you a chance to improve."

Zhang nodded, his face filled with regret. "Thank you, Teacher Xian, Teacher Mei Mei, and Teacher Cin Xiu. I will try harder to respect the rules and ethics of our college."

After a long and deep talk, Zhang left the room determined to change. Xian, Mei Mei, and Cin Xiu were relieved that they had taken the appropriate action.

However, after Zhang left, there was a silent atmosphere between them. Cin Xiu then said, "I know that we should give him a chance to improve, but I feel that there is something strange in his behavior. Like there's something she's hiding."

Mei Mei nodded, "I feel it too. What could make him break the rules of college with such a small act?"

Xian looked at them with great consideration. "I agree. We need to be more careful and monitor his actions. There may be something we don't know yet."

They all contemplated Xian's words. There are still mysterious shadows of the past, and they feel that this is only the beginning of something bigger and more complex.

The next day, the atmosphere at Persilatan Guyon college was still tense. Zhang, the disciple who had just broken the rules, had received the punishment he should have and promised to correct his behavior. Despite that, the shadow of a mysterious past still haunts the minds of Xian, Cin Xiu, and Mei Mei.

That morning, Xian, Cin Xiu, and Mei Mei decided to visit Master Bun's tomb. It was located in a beautiful bamboo forest behind the college. They walked among the tall bamboo groves, with glittering sunlight entering through the cracks of the leaves.

"How did you feel after the conversation with Zhang yesterday?" ask Mei Mei to Xian.

Xian took a deep breath. "I still feel like there's something strange. His actions that broke the rules felt too bold for an ordinary disciple. Like there's something she's hiding from me."

They finally arrived at Master Bun Bun's tomb. The tomb was surrounded by large stones and decorated with fresh flowers. Xian lowered his head as a sign of respect, then spoke in a soft voice, "Teacher Bun Bun, we have come again to visit you. May you be calm here."

Mei May added, "We feel like something is not right in our college. We want to keep the peace and security that you bestowed on him."

As they stood near Master Bun Bun's tomb, there was suddenly a gentle breeze that struck. The bamboo dedali moves without any wind in sight. They felt that there was something strange in that moment.

Cin Xiu glanced at Mei Mei, then said, "This feels like a message from Master Bun Bun. Maybe he wants to tell us something."

Xian responded, "Whatever it is, we must find out what is going on in our college. There are many unanswered questions."

After spending a while at Master Bun Bun's grave, they returned to college. They decided to have a meeting with some of the disciples who were close to Zhang. Maybe they can give you a clue as to what's going on.

By the time they arrived at the main hall of the college, the students they summoned were already waiting. One of them was Ling, a senior disciple close to Zhang. Ling's face looked anxious, and he looked hesitant as he gave the information.

"What's up, Ling?" ask Mei Mei gently.

Ling gulped for a moment before replying, "Teacher, I don't know much, but I heard some talk among the disciples. They say that Zhang has a big problem with a group of people from his past. But I don't know much more than that."

The information made Xian, Cin Xiu, and Mei Mei even more curious. What could be the connection between Zhang's past and his recent strange behavior?

Xian thanked Ling, then they began to plan their next move. They must dig even deeper to uncover this mystery and keep their college safe.

After meeting with Ling and several other disciples, Xian, Cin Xiu, and Mei Mei felt increasingly interested in unraveling the mysteries involving Zhang's past. They decide to find out more about who Zhang really is and what his relationship with people from his past is.

They rushed towards the sprawling college library, where they hoped to find clearer clues. The library is surrounded by a green and cool bamboo forest. The bamboo dust moves with the wind, creating a soothing boisterous sound.

When they entered the library, a calm and silent atmosphere instantly enveloped them. The bamboo wood stain and the smell of the ancient book pages filled the air. They began searching for the college's historical records and looking for information about Zhang.

Cin Xiu opened the college history book and started reading diligently. "Nobody knows much about Zhang's past. He appeared at this college a few years ago and proved to be a talented student. But there's no record of his family or his past before this college."

Mei Mei added, "I've spoken to some villagers around the college. They don't know much about it either. It seems like Zhang came from a faraway place, but no one can give you any more details."

Xian was getting frustrated. "So we still haven't got a definitive clue so far. But we can't stop here. We have to find out more about Zhang's past and why he's so obsessed with what's there."
