There were various questions that wandered in Jibril's mind at this time, the man was eager to ask Eliza because the curiosity in his heart was so explosive. However, Eliza really did not seem to want to talk to Jibril. The woman returned to being indifferent to him, even Eliza only muttered as Jibril said something.
While Eliza really has to make sure that she and Jibril must now remain at a distance, because Eliza is afraid she cannot control her feelings.
Half the journey they had gone through with just a little story, a little chatter and also a little insignificant pleasantries. The actions of the two men did not escape Christie's attention which made the woman anxious.
Now Eliza was sleeping so comfortably in her chair, while Jibril was so restless in her seat. How is he not agitated? Now that he understood the meaning of his istikharah all this time, he was not wrong in deciphering the clue. But now he has gone wrong in taking steps to create distance between himself and Eliza.
"Elizabeth?" call Jibril gently. However, the woman did not respond as she was already immersed in her dreamland. "I was joking" said Jibril, hoping Eliza was just pretending to sleep.
"I have no family, Azmi is Aira's son" Jibril said. "And I still love you" he added in a soft voice. The expression of love now feels so different from what it used to be, like there was an unusual beat even though Eliza was not currently looking at her like she used to.
And for the second time in life, Jibril expressed the same love for the same woman. However, there was still no response from Eliza who was really asleep.
Jibril waved his hand in front of Eliza's face, the woman was still unreacted which made Gabriel could only sigh in lethargy.
"Yes already, if the soul mate is also not going anywhere," he murmured then so resignedly.
After a while, Jibril woke Eliza because it was time for them to get another meal. Eliza who was still feeling sleepy just muttered softly then she went back to sleep soundly. Jibril who saw it only chuckled, he let Eliza sleep but Jibril still took Eliza's rations to eat later.
When all the passengers had eaten, Jibril just returned busy with his book until he was reprimanded by Christie. "Why not eat?" ask Christie.
"Later, I'm not hungry yet" replied Jibril when in fact he was just waiting for Eliza to wake up. Somehow Jibril wanted to accompany the woman to eat.
"Oh, that. Eliza won't wake up?" ask Christie.
"Maybe he is very sleepy" said Jibril with a gentle smile.
Not long after Eliza woke up from her sleep because she was already hungry. "Wanna eat?" jibril asked attentively but unfortunately it made Eliza feel upset.
"No need to pay attention, Mom. Later if his wife knows she can be jealous," Eliza said in a hoarse voice, Jibril who was suddenly called Mas it can only gawk. Moreover, seeing the look on Eliza's face that seemed to be careless with her.
Eliza prepares to devour her food but suddenly Jibril prevents her. "Otherwise?" ketus Eliza's.
"Berdo'a before eating" said Jibril.
Eliza, who was just reminded of it, immediately took the prayer book from her bag, she immediately sought prayer before eating and the action succeeded in making Jibril chuckle.
"Why laugh?" ask Eliza. "Eh, you can't laugh at people who are learning. It's called twitching," said Eliza.
"Wudhu too?" jibril asked as Eliza returned to her seat.
"Hm" said Eliza.
"Wudhu is the limit to the elbow" said Jibril who made Eliza frown. "Neh, your elbow is not wet" said Jibril again and Eliza immediately noticed her own elbow.
"Oh, that. Yes, I'll get wet again" Eliza replied casually which made Jibril again chuckle. "You haven't eaten yet?" eliza asked who saw Jibril's food was still untouched.
"So not hungry yet" replied Jibril.
Eliza again muttered in response, she sat in her chair and Eliza glanced at Jibril who was now praying before eating. Jibril raised his hand and he deliberately read the do'a before eating word for word in order to be followed by Eliza. Sure enough, the woman quietly followed him.
"I'm curious about something" said Jibril suddenly when the two have now stabbed their respective food. "Since when?" ask Jibril.
"It was a long time ago, about 6 months ago," replied Eliza who understood where Jibril's question was headed. "I hope you don't judge me as much as anyone else, I believe this after experiencing many things, learning many things and not from one place, but after I traveled to several places," Eliza said at length.
"Where?" ask Jibril again.
"At first I went to Aceh, it was probably 2 or 3 years ago, and about 6 months ago I went to Palestine with some people, there I met a very beautiful little boy, a very beautiful boy, she was hijab-wearing and in the midst of the hardships of the life she lived, she kept smiling, stayed strong and a lot of things happened, a lot of things I learned there that I was so touched. There's a turmoil in my heart that I can't stand." Gabriel smiled at Eliza's story.
"Then?" Eliza immediately turned her head as Jibril asked like that.
"Then I have a slightly different belief than before, it's a tough journey" Eliza said with a wry smile as she recalled the uneasy times of her life. "There's been a debate between me and my family, but you know for yourself, right? Confidence and love are matters of the heart and we cannot force people to be equal to our love and belief."
Once again Jibril smiled at Eliza's story, maybe Eliza used to feel it was a very heavy journey. However, now Eliza realized the journey was so sweet and beautiful.
"Did you forget me then?" Jibril's question managed to make Elizabeth's heart gasp, she looked at Jibril with nanar.
"I think I've forgotten you for the past 4 or 5 years" Eliza replied, causing Jibril to smile again.
"Then it turned out?" Jibril asked again, which upset Eliza.
"Then what turned out? From that day on you continued," ketus Eliza.
"It turns out you can't forget me, right? Just like me," said Jibril, to be honest, which made Eliza flabbergasted.
"Elizabeth, you know what separated us? And now that reason doesn't exist, how about we get married?"
