Istikharah Love Jibril Emerson

Istikharah Love Jibril Emerson
Chapter #43 - The Mystery of Destiny

Ummi Firda glanced at Jibril who was currently focusing on his breakfast, the man behaving as usual as if there was nothing. Though everyone knows Jibril is currently in a state that is not okay. However, Jibril showed as if he was fine even though Jibril did not even have an appetite.

Ummi Firda, Abi Gabriel and Jibril had breakfast at the hotel restaurant because today also Jibril's parents had to return to the village.

"Jibril, don't you add? The meat is delicious, you know," said Ummi Firda to attract the attention of Jibril who had not spoken since.

"Yes, Ummi," said Jibril then he took one piece of the roast lazily.

After that Jibril went silent again, while Abi and Umm Firda could only glance at each other. "Jibril, there will be a friend of Daddy from America who will come here. He said he was interested in working together, but all the decisions are in your hands because now you are taking over the company" Abi Gabriel told Jibril at length.

"Yes, Abi," replied Jibril briefly who made his parents sigh heavily.

Ummi Firda felt anxious about Jibril's behavior lately, more precisely from the moment he asked Jibril to forget about Eliza. "Oh yes, Ummi will go to Aira's house, then he will check the contents, you want to come?" asked Ummi Firda who was like persuading the children.

"No, Ummi. Today my schedule is quite solid," said Jibril then he sipped water from his glass. Not long after a man came to bring a cell phone to Jibril.

"Thank you" said Jibril.

"Sama-sama, sir," said the man, then he hurried away.

"Buy a new phone, Jay? Isn't your phone still good?" tanya Ummi Firda is confused, especially so far Jibril has never bought a phone just to follow the trend or style alone.

"My phone fell, Ummi," replied Jibril as he opened the new phone box.

"Fall from where? How can?" ask Abi Gabriel.

"From the room" replied Jibril who now turned on his new phone.

"Can you fall out of the room? Meaning how?" tanya Ummi Firda.

"I threw it from the window" replied Jibril honestly who made the two old men gawk. Again they could only look at each other for a few moments while Jibril checked the contents of his new phone.

"But you're still using the old number, right?" tanya Ummi Firda later.

"No, Ummi. I changed a new one" replied Jibril again.

"Why not wear it for so long, Gabriel? It will be complicated again later if there is someone looking for you" continued Abu Gabriel.

"There was Eliza's number and Eliza knew it." Jibril's answer sounded so ambiguous in his parents' ears, they could only bend his forehead.

"meaning?" tanya Ummi Firda wanted to get a satisfactory answer.

Jibril raised his face and looked at his parents who were currently waiting for Jibril's reply. "Oh, I mean ..." Jibril really wanted to forget Eliza, but why did they keep asking, he thought. "Sometimes I still want to call Eliza and sometimes I wish she'd called me, so I'm throwing her away with so little hope."

Abi and Ummi gawked at Jibril's straightforward answer, their eyes round staring at Jibril who was still busy with his new phone.

Ummi and Abi were again only able to throw confused gazes at each other, they were completely speechless with the ridiculous actions their son was doing.

"He threw a phone out of his bedroom window just because... Sometimes they want to call Eliza?" mummy Ummi couldn't believe it. "And he also hopes to be in contact, because that's why his phone was dumped?" Abi Gabriel could only nod slowly.

"My son is stupid, right? Can block contact Eliza or discard the sim card, change the new number," complained Ummi Firda lethargic.

"Maybe he didn't think that way, honey."

"Be careful on the road, huh? Don't forget to call Grandma when she lands later, let Grandma not mind." Shalwa could only smile at the grandmother's will that had always been the same since.

Now that Shalwa is at the airport, he will return to his hometown. Back to the real life, in a place where he had smeared his own name to save his feelings.

Shalwa doesn't know what's going to happen. However, for sure he wants to open a new page in his life with a man who was once again chosen by his parents.

Farid takes Shalwa to the airport, the man shows his love and seriousness to Shalwa which makes Shalwa always touched by his heart.

"Yes, Grandma" Shalwa answered briefly while looking for Eliza's contact, after which she tried to call her friend's number but the results were the same for a few days ago. Eliza can't be called.

"Is he so angry with me?" muttered Shalwa.

She contacted Ruby and told her that she was already at the airport, Shalwa would definitely return later to this city because her future husband has a job in this big city.

In fact, Shalwa and Farid's wedding will be arranged in Jakarta. She came home only to return to her parents' house before Shalwa would actually live in her husband's rumba.

"Whose phone is there?" ask Grandma.

"Friends, Grandma," Shalwa replied.

Meanwhile, Farid is now contacted by his boss who asks Farid to return to the office. "Shal, I'm staying okay, huh? You know, I have to get back to the office right now" Farid said.

"Oh, yes. It's okay, I'll check in soon, too" Shalwa replied.

"Remember! Be careful on the road!" granny for the third time.

"Yes, Grandma, yes" Shalwa replied in a fit of anxiety.

Farid took his grandmother home before Farid returned to the office, on his way home, Farid also received advice from Grandma to be a good husband for Shalwa and guide Shalwa to be a good wife for him.

While Shalwa, now he sits in the waiting room while looking at photos of his togetherness with Ruby and Eliza.

Destiny is unique, Shalwa ran to Jakarta because he was ashamed of the neighbors who would surely gossip him for not marrying Jibril. And when he arrived in Jakarta, he actually met and befriended women who were unwittingly the cause of their marriage cancellation.

But now it all seems to be a mystery again. Jibril and Eliza were separated, leaving behind all wounds and tears.

If Shalwa had known it would eventually be this way, he probably wouldn't have let go of Jibril if nobody had the man in the end.
