Chapter #13 - The Destiny of the Unexpected

Eliza closed her eyes and clasped her hands together to pray before eating, while Jibril raised his hands and said a prayer before eating as well.

Both of them ate in silence and focused on their respective food. However, the hearts of both of them pounded so much that they did not know what to say. We all know there is love in each other's hearts. However, they also both know their love like an untouchable shadow.

"You ..." Eliza looked up, looking at Jibril who was eating but while playing mobile phone. "Mommy said, don't play hp while eating. The food must be respected" said Eliza who immediately made Jibril put his phone on the table. Eliza glanced at the screen of Jibril's phone whose wallpaper was just a dark screen without any pictures or elements." Men have no taste!" Jibril's pupils instantly widened when he heard what Eliza said.

"Me?" jibril asked as he pointed to himself, Eliza nodded quickly. "Why did you say that?" ask Jibril again.

"Liat! Wallpaper is just a dark screen, seal your life without me," Eliza chuckled with amusement that managed to make Jibril again stare at a smile.

Eliza was silent again because Jibril still did not respond with a meaningful response, she immediately devoured her paste like a hasty person that made Jibril a little confused.

"Later to choke." Jibril reminded him that while Eliza did not care, she continued to eat and now Jibril let her.

"Not in any more ingetin?" eliza asked then while chewing, Jibril only shook his head in response and it made Eliza chuckle.

"You're too cute to be a man, Mr. ice cube. That's not good!" Eliza immediately finished her meal after which she put some money on the table, Jibril made no sound and only watched Eliza from the tail of her eyes. "Let me buy it, think of it as a return because you paid for my groceries." Jibril only nodded after that he returned to eating casually.

Eliza gawked, it felt like she had never met someone so indifferent as Jibril. "I want to go" Eliza said later, hoping that Jibril would prevent her. However, Jibril just nodded casually without making a sound. Eliza clucked in annoyance then sat back in her chair, not only that. He also took back his money and said, "Pay it yourself."

Jibril chuckles at the magical behavior of this one girl. "Okay" replied Jibril. After eating, he called the waiter to pay. And as Eliza said, pay for yourself.

"Basic stingy!" Eliza muttered in annoyance. "Well, do you eat the same girls keep paying for themselves? There's no pay-in initiative?"

"And you asked, Eliza, "Jibril answered.

"So if I ask you to pay, you'll pay me?" eliza asked who was immediately answered with a nod of the head by Jibril. "Other times it can't be like that, Mr. ice cube. What she said from her mouth was the opposite of what her heart wanted, and as a man, you should be sensitive to it!"

"Oh, what's that new formula?" jibril asked as he stood up from his seat and sauntered away from the restaurant, Eliza followed him from behind.

"No! That's the formula from start to end of life." Jibril nodded in understanding and he remembered Aira as well. Several times Jibril saw the two women sulking at their partner for trivial things, even though their partner had done what they said.

"Thank you for your knowledge, Eliza. I have a mother, a sister and a niece. It seems like the formula could be of benefit to me."

"That kind of science is very important for your partner, Mr. ice cubes," Eliza said as she moved faster to align with Jibril's wide steps. "Oh, yeah. Tonight I'd like to invite you to dinner, my best friend's birthday. Relax, there are a lot of people this time. Coming huh? I mean the hell."

Jibril couldn't help but smile when he heard Eliza's last words. "Okay, what time is it?" ask Jibril.

"Hour 7.30. Bring a gift, yes. Because my best friend is happy to get a gift" he asked.

"What gift?" ask Jibril again.

"What, it's up to you."

"Then buy a box of chocolates. He's a chocolate lover."

"Okay."

Now that Jibril and Eliza have arrived at the parking lot, they get into their respective cars after Eliza re-emphasizes on Jibril to come on time.

When Jibril was in the car, he could not stop his smile every time he remembered Eliza's behavior which always managed to warm his heart.

"I should have declined her invitation, but why did I say okay?" muttered Jibril while chuckling, it doesn't seem easy for him to reject Eliza's star-like charm. Luminous without dazzling.

"Am I late?" Ruby and Eliza who were currently chatting immediately turned their heads when they heard Shalwa's voice.

"G ... Bebs. You came at last. I don't think you're coming" cried Ruby, who greeted Shalwa warmly.

Tonight is Ruby's birthday event which is held quite simply in fact, only invited a few friends of Ruby's campus and this is just a dinner together.

Shalwa gives a gift that he has prepared for Ruby, after which Ruby brings Shalwa to meet some friends. Ruby met Shalwa who was greeted warmly by Ruby's friends.

Eliza was busy waiting for the prince who never came. "Maybe he won't come" cried Ruby who made Eliza immediately clucked. "Sir ice cubes once you invite to an event like this, definitely in to—" Ruby's speech came to a halt as she saw Jibril who came with a box of chocolates.

Tonight Jibril was dressed as casually as usual, but somehow tonight Jibril looks more handsome in Eliza's eyes.

"What's chocolate for?" ruby asked when Jibril was in front of her. "And why not wrap it up?" his screeches.

"Eliza just said buy a box of chocolates as a birthday gift," replied Jibril with his leisure that makes Ruby gawk while Eliza just grinned.

"Originally you know, I'm allergic to chocolate. Looks like Eliza asked this for herself" Ruby quipped as she threw a sharp glint at Eliza.

"Oh ..." That was only Jibril's response because he was confused what to say.

"Yes, come in, yuk! I'm waiting for you" Ruby asked.

Jibril stepped in with Eliza after she gave the box of chocolates to Eliza, which Eliza received without hesitation.

When he entered the room that Ruby had prepared, Jibril suddenly fell silent because he saw Shalwa there. In fact, Shalwa also seemed surprised to see the arrival of the man he always tried to forget it.
