Chapter #38 - Restu Yang is Stifled

"Eliza won't answer her phone," Ruby murmured anxiously. Shalwa who heard that seemed to feel guilty, he felt too judgmental of Eliza and interfered about the feelings of Eliza and Jibril. In fact, the two men had not interfered in Shalwa's feelings.

"Where did he go, huh? I'm so worried, I have to say what Eliza's parents will be like?" Ruby tried to contact her friend again.

"Jibril has changed a lot since he met Eliza, Rub. It's like I don't recognize the present Jibril" Shalwa replied.

While on the other hand, Aira and the others were enjoying the cake ordered by Aira. However, Eliza no longer felt comfortable being among the Jibril family because Aira was now cold. Aira seemed to show the difference between her family and Eliza, Jibril's sister showed very clearly she did not welcome Eliza's love for Gabriel.

"Aunty?" Eliza suddenly stood up from her seat which made Jibril confused, as well as her parents. "I want to say goodbye" Eliza said.

"You haven't eaten the cake, Elizabeth. Eat first a little," exclaimed Umm Firda while cutting the cake a little.

"No need, sorry to have broken aunty cake" Eliza said sincerely.

Eliza rubbed her dewy eyes then turned her head and threw a smile at Gabriel, as if she wanted to show that she was fine even though her heart was so messed up.

"What's wrong?" ask Eliza.

"What did you come to this hotel for?" asked Jibril without further ado which made Eliza slightly dumbfounded. But then he smiled calmly again.

"I was going to meet you, I didn't know that you were in Aira's house" Eliza replied honestly.

"Now you've met me, and then you come home?" Eliza raised her eyebrows at Jibril's question, which she did not understand. "Eliza, I told you I wanted to introduce you to my parents. And it turns out that fate actually precedes my curiosity, I'm really happy actually. Moreover, I see Ummi and Abi like us," said Jibril at length with sparkling eyes.

It's really not Jibril as usual. "Why do you suddenly want to go home? Don't you want to get to know my parents any closer?" jibril's gaze which was usually so sharp and cold now actually looked so sad when asking that question.

And of course your parents would have been against our feelings if he knew what made us different." Eliza's chest felt so tight as to say those words, Gabriel felt the same.

"Everyone will corner us as if we made a very big mistake" Eliza said with her head bowed and tears finally spilled.

Jibril took a step closer to the girl, took out a handkerchief from her pocket and handed it to Eliza and said, "Remove your tears, Eliza."
