Istikharah Love Jibril Emerson
Prologue - Istikharah Love

The atmosphere of the house is so crowded, everyone is busy with their own business. Even so, happiness is clearly visible on their faces and they are in a joyful time.

One of them was arguing about decorating the bridal room, while the other was arguing about going to the order of the wedding two days away. And the others, were discussing about the food they would serve for the guests.

At the age of 33, Jibril finally decided to marry the woman of his parents' choice. Actually, he had no specific reason why he wanted to marry the woman, except just to perfect half his religion as well so that his parents do not worry about him who has not had a partner at an age that is no longer young.

The girl of his parents' choice was not an ordinary girl, she graduated from a boarding school in Cairo, Egypt. She is beautiful, graceful, polite and shy. Jibril met him several times for taaruf. Jibril knew the quality of the woman named Shalwa Az-Zahwa was not to be doubted, anyone who had it would be like getting an angel from heaven.

Yet...

"Noe...." Ummi Firda who is currently chatting with Aira and Zenwa immediately turned her head when she heard the roaring voice of the bride-to-be.

"What's up, brother? Want to make sure the party runs smoothly? Or is there a special request?" Tempt Aira while enjoying throwing wine greedily.

"He'em, or want a special room decor? A sprinkling of roses?" Zenwa continued but as usual, Jibril only responded with a faint smile.

"I want to talk to Ummi and Abi" said Jibril lirih. The look on his face looked unusual, and it made his mother a little anxious.

He sent Jibril to his room while he would call when Abi. Jibril waited for his parents anxiously, he paced back and forth and occasionally took a breath and threw it away slowly.

When his parents arrived, Jibril immediately asked them to sit on the edge of the bed while he sat down in front of them. Makes them confused and anxious. "What's up, Jay?" Asked the mother in a low voice, her feelings said something was not okay and it was clear from Jibril's eyes.

"Abi ... Ummi...." Gabriel held their hands softly. "You often remind me not to rush when making decisions, to think things through carefully and carefully." Jibril took a deep breath, his normally cold face now looked so sad and his gaze so sweet.

"Go to the point, Jibril!" The order of the Abi who was impatient wanted to know what was to be revealed by this son.

"Who is the answer then?" Ummi Firda asked with a slightly trembling voice.

"Elizabeth," replied Jibril, bowing. The frown on his parents' foreheads deepened as they had never heard of the name before.

"Elizabeth who, Jay? Which person?" Ask Ummi.

"I don't know, we met in Pakistan. Then at Baby Ali's birthday, we also met the unexpected ones. As if fate purposely did, Ummi. And he ..he likes me, he invites me to get married. He fell in love with me, but I refused because I was already in a match with Shalwa."

Both of Jibril's parents could only hold their breath hearing the story, between believing and disbelieving. Of course they are also worried about the continuity of the marriage of Jibril and Shalwa who only stay two days longer.

"Since then, I've been thinking about it. Every time I close my eyes, I see her shadow. When I was alone, it was like I heard his voice. Until I finally do Istikharah prayer every night. On the first night, he came. On the second night, he came. The next night, only he came. I saw him standing by a very beautiful riverbank with many butterflies flying around him. She was wearing all-white clothes, her hair was loose. He looked at me, smiled, then reached out to me as if waiting for me."

Jibril recalled the dream that always came every time he finished praying istikharah, at first he also did not believe if it was the answer to his anxiety. However, the dream always came as if to emphasize that it was indeed the answer that Jibril needed.

While both of Jibril's parents really did not know how to respond to his son's story, on the one hand they wanted the best for Jibril's happiness. While on the other hand, they also think of the good names of two families that must be maintained.

"Jibril, your wedding's in two days, son. Forget the woman" Abi Gabriel said later but the decision did not appear to have been approved by his wife.

"Why don't you talk to Shalwa? If he wants to take you off, go! But if he won't let you go, then forget the woman, forget your dreams and live only for Shalwa.

Jibril could only bow, thinking for a moment of his mother's command, then he mengingan, throwing a smile and nodding. "I promise, Ummi. Shalwa's decision will be my last" replied Jibril with confidence.
