Is It Wrong Not All Right?

Is It Wrong Not All Right?
Apologies

Fina who was enjoying lunch with pineapple fried rice with Father at the dinner table, heard a knock from the door of her house. Fina stopped the movement of the Father who was about to open the door, allowing himself to do so.

Fina rushed to open the door. His smile spontaneously disappeared when he saw the figure who came to his house during the day like this.

“Felisha?” Fina stammering.

“Hi.” Felisha says hello. For a long time they did not meet.

“Dan..:” Fina glanced at a woman who came with Felisha.

“I mama Win.” Kate could see Fina's confusion.

“Tante..” Fina courteously shook Kate's hand.

“Who's Fin?” Suddenly he appeared to them.

“Mama, Win, Sir.”

“Oh, Win who was here? The whiskey about..” Mr. heboh himself. However, he chose not to continue his sentence. “Let's in, Bu.”

They sat together in the living room. The mood was silent for a moment.

“What's up, yes, Auntie?” fina asked breaking the silence.

“Begini, Fina. Aunt came here to apologize for the conversation. Auntie hope you didn't put it in her heart.” Suddenly Kate grabs Fina's hand sincerely. “Tante has misjudged you, Fina. Hearing your full story, Aunt is sure that you are a tough figure.”

Fina could only be silent. From childhood, we are taught to forgive. But in reality, forgiveness is not that easy. Wounds cannot be healed in an instant with just a word of apology.

“I'm sorry too, Fina. I've been mean to you. I shouldn't have done stupid things like that.” Felisha followed with her apology.

Fina is not a typical person who is difficult to forgive. But, treating them first left an inner wound that until now Fina can still feel the impact. His brain recorded all their treatment of him. And the tape will continue to stick in his memory for life. Perhaps, physical injuries could be healed with medicines without leaving a mark. But, the inner wound is different. It is like a glass that when broken, even though it has been reconnected with adhesive glue, the cracks are still visible.

“Give me time to consider.” Fina took her hand out of Kate's.

“Tante understand. It must not be easy for you to forgive. But this is all we can do.” Kate understands Fina's decision. The sincerity of the apology that Kate offered only God knows. Felisha nodded, agreeing with Kate.

“Soal, Win. He went to college in Washington, Fin. He seems to have been devastated lately by being away from you, to looking for a place to escape abroad. A few days ago, he just returned to Indonesia. Tomorrow, Win will return to Washington. You better meet him first,” Felisha gives information related to Win.

Fina was just pensive. He feels confused about his own feelings when it comes to Win. “Give me time.”

Their conversation is over. Fina needs someone who can give her a solution. And Fina thinks she knows who that person is.

Nightfall. Fina invites Gerald for a breath of fresh air. The two of them walked on the street-food. Fina wore a sweater with buds covering her head, making her look cute.

“What's up? Tumben walk night-night?” Gerald already thought there was something important that Fina wanted to talk to him about.

“It's about Win. Tomorrow he's going to Washington. And for some reason, it feels hard to just leave it alone. Like something was going to go missing. Although, maybe now I'm not the one anymore.”

“Do you like it? Doctor mean, still like it?” gerald asked straight to the heart of the matter.

“Then, finish first. Let's relax. Meet him.”

“What is the Doctor?” Fina spontaneously asked like that, making awkwardness spread.

“Ma-means?” Gerald.

“H... How, yes, explained.” Fina is wrong. Fina means feeling. But in a moment his tongue became a tongue. “Doctors consider me what?”

Gerald laughed at Fina's question.

“Cock laughing?” Fina was astonished which was accompanied by a hint of embarrassment.

“What do you want me to think of?” Gerald's feet stopped. His eyes were shining on Fina's eyes.

“H... Brother?”

“You are, now you are my sister.” Gerald ruffled Fina's hair.

“ES CREAM STRAWBERRIES!” Fina was nervous and distracted by pointing at the ice-cream vendor near them.

“OO... Looks like we have to spend one cart full.” Gerald's voice was rising. He stared at the ice-cream wagon with narrow eyes and a tongue poking at his lips.

Fina ran first towards the location of the ice-cream cart.

Fina ordered a single cone of strawberry ice-cream with great cheer.

Gerald looked at that happy face. His lips carved a smile.

Your happiness is your priority, Fina. I will always support whatever your choice. Gerald.

“Mas, mas, this is the ice-cream.” The ice-cream salesman was trying to make Gerald aware of his daydream.

“Do not want, Bang, she. Let me just.” Fina snatched the ice-cream that was supposed to be for Gerald. Now, there are two ice-cream cones in the girl's hand.

“Yee... It's got a Doctor!” Gerald protest.

“Lagian bengong mulu. Think installments, huh?” Ffina licked the two ice-creams in her hands in turn.

“Make one more yes, Bang.” Gerald ordered one ice-cream.

After getting the ice-cream he wanted, the man prankfully gave a stain on Fin's nose with strawberry ice-cream in his hand.

“Ah... Doctor!!” Fina complained and wiped her nose with ice-cream melts.

Gerald laughed gigglingly. That laugh... Is real? Or just a mirage?
