I Am Yours, Mr Chevalier!

I Am Yours, Mr Chevalier!
The Part 54

"The interview with NBC was completely unexpected, what the f***k!" marcus chanted down his beer bottle.

Liam. Considering he answered a question from Mark Villiard, the host, about Marcus being so bad.

Marcus was about to hit the top of Liam's head but swiftly Liam crossed his arms to protect his head.

"Anyway .. are you still fighting over Laras?" ask Ben and Greg

who sat in front of him. Greg, who was gulping down his beer bottle, almost choked. While Ben smiled broadly revealing his adorable canine teeth.

"Are you in a cold war?" chirp Liam, just like Mark Villiard said.

Ben and Greg looked at each other. Then both are broken.

"Cheers, mate!" ben said by making a funny Australian accent while lifting his beer bottle towards Greg.

Greg touched the beer bottle to the bottle Ben was holding. Then the two of them swigged it together.

"Friendship is more important, isn't it?" chirp Greg while embracing the friendly Ben.

"Get a room you two!" marcus exclaimed anxiously at the behavior of the two handsome men.

Only the sound of the four of them was still heard on the bus, the rest of the crew had slept except for the driver, of course.

The drive from Chicago, Illinois to the second Rebellion venue in Houston, Texas is about 14 hours. The night trip was spent by the four friends with their occasional obscure chatter interspersed with explosive laughter.

Ben turned on the punctuation lamp above his head. Then lay his body on his soft cabin mattress. His hand grabbed a pocket camera on a small table beside the bed.

Ben smiled at the photos he took some time ago in a meadow in Pennsylvania. Showing the face of Laras with various expressions.

Then he stopped his index move sliding the photo right on him kissing Laras cheek, with a surprised face Laras who is very funny.

Ah, Ben misses that girl a lot. Longing to tease him to grumble and grumble. Longing to see her surprised expression when Ben meets her all of a sudden, longing for everything about the adorable asian girl.

Ben grabbed his phone, wanted to send Laras a message. The clock shows at 3:30 am.

He must have slept, he thought. Long enough Ben looked at the screen of his phone, when suddenly there was one message coming in.

Ben, why don't you ever answer a message or pick up my phone?

Ben's smile disappeared. Anita sent him a message. There was a bit of guilt in his heart ignoring his ex-girlfriend. With a heavy heart, Anita's message was answered.

Hi, Anita, I'm sorry, I'm so busy, I'll call you if I have time.

Ben pressed the send button. Then put the phone down just like that. A few minutes later, his phone vibrated again. Lazily Ben grabbed it.

Ben, this is Hailey, are you awake?

Ben rounded his eyes. Where did Hailey get her number. Ben hissing, Jack!

I'm asleep, please don't bother me, Hailey.

😂😂 .. okay I'll bother you next time, sweet dream, handsome 😘.

Ben just threw his phone back. Put both arms behind his head. His eyes stared at the ceiling which was only half a meter away from his face. The punctuation lights were still on, pulling the blanket thick and trying to close his eyes.

The knock on the door made Laras who had just arrived at his apartment and was about to make lunch, undo his intentions and immediately open the door. James's face with a smile poked.

Laras breathed deeply. Then let James in.

"Just like old time huh?" said James. Both of them sat at the dining table. Two large plates of orange chicken and stir-fried fresh broccoli, as well as two rice dishes that have been cooked in Laras are on the table.

Baras just smiled in response to the words of his ex-girlfriend.

"Where do you live now, James?" tanya Laras started the conversation.

"I live in Brooklyn" James replied, feeding a piece of broccoli into his mouth.

"You still work at City Limits (Magazine in New York)?"

"Yes but they moved me as a photographer in a special section of the sport."

"I see," murmured Laras.

James looked at the clingy Baras. Makes the girl feel bad.

"What about you, Laras?" ask James.

Barrels flicked his shoulders. "I still work at McFadden, and on weekends I work at a restaurant."

"Then you and Benjamin Chevalier.."

"I don't wanna talk about it," argues Laras. Spooning pieces of orange chicken with a little rough.

"I'm sorry, I'm just curious . because, if I had to compete with Benjamin Chevalier to get you back, it wouldn't seem too easy." James chuckles.

He looked at James. "Why do you want to come back?" asked Laras with his sharp eyes.

James paused his intention to feed himself with a spoonful of rice. Put the spoon on the plate. Then returned the gaze of Laras.

"I'm afraid, I realize, I made a terrible mistake leaving you."

Baras smiled cynically. It's so good that he's talking, inwardly. James flicked his black hair back, frustrated.

"Please, Laras . give me one more chance, I promise I won't hurt you anymore, I'm gonna make you the happiest girl in the world."

"James .. I can't, I .. don't have the same feelings for you as before" said Laras. James closed his eyes while sighing deeply.

"Okay, I'm willing to wait until you open your heart back for me."

"James" said Laras. One thing that Laras hated about himself was that he always felt sorry for others, making it difficult to express the word "no" clearly.

James's face made Laras feel unbearable. Although in reality, this man in front of him had incised deep wounds and traumatized him to believe again with a creature named man.

"I gota go to work," said Laras while cleaning up the leftovers on the table.

Laras stepped leaving James still dumbstruck at the dining table. Looked at Laras' missing back behind the door of his room.

Twenty minutes later Laras came out of the bedroom door in a work uniform wrapped in his coat. His face looks fresh with a thin makeup polish.

"You're going down?" ask Laras who saw James still sitting at the dinner table.

James nodded. Then followed Laras out of his apartment.
