WEST VILLAGE BOUCHERIE, MANHATTAN.
This French restaurant is Laras' new workplace on weekends, with the help of Maya who also works there. His experience working as a waitress made Laras easily adapt.
The restaurant manager was a man in his thirties named Stephane Jourdain. A pretty handsome Frenchman with tanned hair and gray eyes. His American-English accent sounded funny in Laras ears. He's pretty good, even a little bit of a perfectionist.
Working hours from 10am to 5pm. Quite tiring, but the first day of work Baras quite smooth. Serving guests, cleaning and stuff like that.
While tidying the scarf around his neck Laras stepped out of the restaurant after finishing his last job first. While waiting for Maya who was taking care of something, Laras sat between the empty chairs outside the restaurant, playing his phone.
One message went into his phone screen. From Catherine.
I'll pick you up at 7, dress up sexy, we'll have fun tonight.
Laras slowly read the message from his best friend. Watching a rock concert with sexy makeup? There was-there was that girl.
The shadow of Ben's face flashed. Heart warms. Laras loved to see Ben with his guitar on stage. It looks ugly but fascinating. His guitar playing skills are also very good. It is fitting that he entered into the 100 best guitarists Rolling Stone version. Yes, Laras found out when he tried to figure out the history of a Benjamin Chevalier through google. There was a lot of talk about that man. Including his ex-girlfriend, a Hollywood actress named Anita Wallis. Old photos of the two are also widely spread on the internet.
"Waiting someone?"
The barrel awakens from his daydream to hear the sound of someone greeting him. Stephane Jourdain, the gray-eyed man pulled up the chair in front of him and sat down.
"Ah yes, Mr. Jourdain .. I was waiting for Maya to finish her work," replied Laras.
Stephane smiled. "You worked well today, not bad for your first day" he said with his French accent.
"Thank you" said Laras.
Before long Maya appears and smiles towards the two. A little prickly his eyes were glaring at Laras.
"Yep, Race!" he was wearing his coat. "See you tomorrow, Mr. Jourdain,"
he told Stephane.
"A demain, les filles," he said in French.
The two waved at Stephane and stepped down the sidewalk, towards the nearest subway station.
"It looks like Stephane has a crush on you Ras" Maya said as she giggled. Both are crossing the highway.
"Ngaco ah," said Laras.
"Eh really .. I noticed from this afternoon, gush glare at you."
Barrel chuckling. "Bodo ah" said Laras.
"Ihh .. handsome is also the time," Maya chirped as she attached her metronome card to the mini doorstop.
"Make you there" said Laras.
"I'm looking for an Indonesian guy." Maya chimed. Laras chuckles. "Don't have another boy you have" Maya said suspiciously. The girl certainly knew that Laras was dating James.
"Hah .. no, there is no time to date," Baras argued.
The subway stopped in front of them. The two girls came in and ran away with the other passengers.

A neat barrel with a short-sleeved black shirt and blue jeans was sitting on the sofa waiting for Catherine to pick her up. Her makeup was a little different that night. Black eye shadow makes a pretty noticeable gothic impression. It was Catherine's idea, of course.
Laras just assented that his best friend did not have to bother him.
The sound of the door being knocked. Baras rushed to open it. Catherine's figure appeared with her smile. He had two bottles of beer in his hand. Her makeup is quite striking with her emo style.
Catherine placed her two bottles of beer on the table. And open it with a bottle cap not far from there. The two will spend one bottle each before leaving to watch The Rebellion concert.
"Cheers!" Catherine and Laras pitted their beer bottles.
"Are you ready to see Ben?" moda Catherine's.
Barrel chuckling. "I'll focus on the music, I don't want to be the groupies" Laras said.
"Haahh Laras, admit it" said Catherine.
Laras nudged Catherine's shoulder with his shoulder while he was weaving his lips.
How to admit it, while Ben alone never said directly that he liked it. And the fear of Laras, though many times said to himself to relax a little, but the girl felt that she was playing with fire, which could burn her at any time. Yes, cultivating feelings for a Benjamin Chevalier is a very risky thing.
"Let's go!"
Catherine's cry made Laras gasp.
The girl nodded. He put on his thick coat and followed his friend out of his narrow apartment.
