Daniel and Karima were enjoying their lunch in the hotel's dining room. There were no words coming out from the lips of the two of them, they were just enjoying their late lunch.
Suddenly Karima's phone rang. Karima picked up her phone which was inside her bag. There's a video call from Hari. Karima answered Hari's video call.
“Assalamualaikum,” says Karima.
“Mama.” There was the sound of screaming from the Karima children.
“Eh. How come your greetings have not been answered?” ask Karima.
“Waalaikumsalam,” Karima's children replied in unison.
“Mama what more?” ask Gathan.
“Mama again eat,” Karima replied.
“Eat the same what?” ask Gathan.
“Chicken's name.” Karima pointed her phone at her plate, showing her lunch to her children.
“Abang also eats chicken,” says Gathan.
Karima's children are busy telling her what they did when their mother left. Day tells about her activities during her time at school. Karima listened to the babbling of her children while enjoying her lunch. Daniel watched Karima while eating. Daniel laughed when he heard the funny babble from the Karima children.
“Yeah, call him. Later tonight connected again,” said Karima.
“Iya, Ma,” Karima's children replied.
“Assalamualaikum.” Karima ended her video call. He continued eating.
After they finished eating, they returned to their room to rest. Today they have nothing to do. Tomorrow afternoon they just went to the opening ceremony of the hotel owned by Mr. Dandi's friend.
In the afternoon after the Ashar prayer Daniel took Karima for a walk around the city of Penang. They left by using a tour car owned by the hotel. The first place we visited was Penang Hill. Daniel takes Karima to a hill by train. On top of the hill they enjoy the natural scenery in the afternoon. They look like lovers dating.
After from Penang Hill Daniel took Karima to a luxury mall on the seafront. Daniel takes Karima to a toy store. Karima thought Daniel would buy souvenirs for his nephew. It turns out Karima's guess missed.
“I want to buy souvenirs for the children of Ms. Karima. But I don't know what their favorite toy is like,” Daniel said.
“Not necessary, Sir!” answer Kairma.
“It's okay. This is as a thank you to me because they have allowed their mother to go with me,” Daniel said.
Karima had to follow Daniel's orders. Karima is looking for toys that her son likes. He chose toys that were cheap. Daniel watched Karima from afar. He saw Karima looking for toys that are cheap. He approached Karima.
“Find the good toys, not the cheap ones! don't embarrass me in front of the kids Mom!” whispered Daniel. Karima was immediately stunned to hear it.
“Good, Sir,” answered Karima. Karima kept the toy back and looked for the same toy for a hefty price.
Karima brought the toy he chose to the cashier. Daniel paid for all the toys. Karima was shocked when she heard the nominal amount. He counts to the rupiah, the results are fantastic. Even her ex-husband had never bought toys for their children for such a nominal amount.
After from the toy store Daniel is still around in the mall.
“No, Sir,” Karima replied.
Daniel turned to Karima. “Buy what I want! I will pay later. As my gratitude because Mom has accompanied me,” said Daniel.
“Not necessary, Sir. Indeed it is my duty to accompany Mr.,” Karima replied.
Daniel breathed to hear it. The woman who walked beside him was indeed a woman who had principles, not an easy woman. If another woman offered by Daniel would probably buy all the items in the mall.
Finally, they were a Muslim fashion boutique. Daniel noticed the clothes the boutique model wore.
“Mom likes that shirt, don't you?” Daniel pointed to the mannequin. Karima looked towards Daniel. He was stunned to see a Muslim dress that looks simple but seems luxurious. He was silent and answered nothing.
“The clothes are suitable if used equally Bu Karima,” said Daniel.
“Not necessary, Sir. I don't want to buy anything,” Karima replied.
But Daniel did not heed Karima's words. He immediately walked into the store. Without further ado Daniel told the store employee to get the clothes as used by the model. The store employee immediately picked up the clothes that Daniel appointed and gave them to Daniel. Daniel gave the shirt to Karima.
“Try!” said Daniel.
“But, Sir.” Karima did not continue his words.
“Try first! I want to see no match if used with Ms. Karima,” said Daniel.
Karima was forced to follow the request of his boss. He took the clothes to the dressing room. Shortly after, he came out wearing that shirt. Daniel looked at him from top to bottom.
“Match if used by Mother,” said Daniel.
“Or Do you want another model?” ask Daniel.
“This is it, Sir,” Karima replied.
If he chooses another model he is afraid it will cost more. He saw the price attached to the shirt. The price is quite expensive if calculated to rupiah.
Karima changed her clothes. He gave the clothes to the shop staff. Daniel paid for the shirt.
“Thank you, Mr. Daniel,” said Karima after leaving the boutique.
“Sama-sama, Mom,” replied Daniel.
