18. Proposing

Early in the morning after finishing the morning prayer Adrian house sounded crowded. In the kitchen, Ibu Ecin is teaching Odah and Asih to work. Ecin's mother taught Odah how to use the equipment in the kitchen. How to turn on the stove, how to use the oven, how to use the microwave and other equipment. Ms. Ecin also taught Asih how to use a washing machine and use a vacuum cleaner. Lina helps Asih clean the house.

Ms. Titin was about to help in the kitchen to prepare breakfast but was forbidden by Ms. Ecin. Let Odah make breakfast for everyone. Forced Titin's mother to just sit in the living room. Mia sat with Mother Titin while putting food in a can of blek into the jar.

Adrian came out of his room, he had just finished his morning prayers. He sat down to join Mia and Titin's mother. Adrian took opak from a can of blek and then he ate opak.

“Master Adrian what to drink? Mum make it, yes,” said Ibu Titin.

“No need, Mak! Let the new helper make me a drink,” Adrian said.

“Thank you Ceu Odah,” said Mia. Then back to the kitchen.

Adrian drank his coffee.

“Begini, Mak. I want to be responsible for what happened to Mia,” Adrian said.

“What does Mr Adrian mean? Kan not Mr Adrian who did it, why Mr Adrian who should be responsible?” ask Titin's mother.

“Because I told that guy to take care of my house. He was the wrong security at my factory. One of the house guards was sick, so was replaced by that person. I believe it when he was put in this house. Not to mention he has malicious intentions towards Mia,” replied Adrian.

“Master need not feel guilty. By giving treatment to Mia, Mother is already grateful,” said Ibu Titin.

“I will still be responsible. I will marry Mia,” Adrian said.

Mother Titin and Mia were shocked to hear that they were looking at each other.

Titin's mother just silently watched Mia and Adrian.

“I want to protect you from any danger and threat. The only way to protect you is to marry you,” Adrian said. He tried to convince Mia.

“I know that I am not a good man. You've seen what my bad behavior looks like. I will leave it all for you, Mia,” Adrian said with a hearty tone.

“Master can migrate without having to marry me,” said Mia.

“Why is it so hard to convince you?” ask Adrian.

Mia returned to the dining room. He sat next to Titin's mother.

“Where is Mother Ecin?” ask Titin's mother.

“Eat in the back with another,” replied Mia.

Mia took the rice and poured it on the plate. He took a pepes of fish, wasteful of keys and sambel oncom and then he ate it greedily.

Adrian noticed Mia who was eating extravagant keys with sambel oncom. Adrian took an extravagant key, he noticed the extravagant form of the key.

“This what?” ask Adrian.

“It was key meeting. Cobain, it tastes good. Eat it with sambel oncom,” replied Ms. Titin.

Adrian poured the oncom sambel on the plate and then he ate the extravagant key with sambel oncom.

“How? Tasty, right?” ask Titin's mother.

“It feels unique but delicious,” Adrian replied.

“This pepes Cook mom?” ask Adrian.

“Iya,” replied Ms. Titin.

“It feels good,” Adrian said.

“You can cook pepes, no?” Adrian asked Mia.

“Can,” Reply Mia.

“When you cook pepes, yes!” Adrian said.

“Insyaallah,” replied Mia.

They continued eating.

“Assalamualaikum.” Daniel was in the dining room. It entered through the kitchen.

“Waalaikumsalam,” replied Adrian, Ibu Titin and Mia.

Mia is shocked to see the sudden arrival of Daniel. He could not hide. He had to eat while looking down.

“Eh, there's Mia,” said Daniel saw Mia eating.

“Ngapain you early in the morning to here?” ask Adrian.
