17. Mom Came

At seven o'clock in the night there was a car horn. Adrian's Alpard stopped in front of the turnstile. Mr. Ujang opened the gate.  Alpard's car is entering the yard. The rear passenger door opened Mother Ecin and Ms. Titin got out of the car. Followed by two women. Adrian opened the living room door. Mother Ecin and Mother Titin walked towards the door of the living room.

“Assalamualaikum,” says Ms. Ecin.

“Waalaikumsalam. Login Ms Ecin,” replied Adrian.

Ecin's mother greets Adrian.

“Master introduce this grandmother Mia her name is Mother Titin,” Mother Ecin told Adrian.

“This is Adrian his employer Mia,” Mother Ecin told Ms. Titin. Adrian saluting Mother Titin.

“Where is it?” ask Titin's mother.

“Mia is inside. He was in his room. I didn't tell Mia that her grandmother was coming. Let's be a surprise for Mia,” Adrian replied.

“Let's in, Bu.” Adrian let his guests in.

Adrian enters the house followed by his guests. Then Adrian took Ibu Ecin and Ibu Titin to go to Mia's room. Adrian knocked on the door. Lina opened the door.

“Where is it?” ask Adrian.

“There. Is reading Al-Qur’an,” replied Lina. There was the sound of Mia reading the Qur’an from inside the room.

Adrian enters Mia's room followed by Ms. Ecin and Ms. Titin.

“Mia, check this out who came?” Adrian said.

Mia stopped reading the Qur’an she turned towards Adrian. How surprised Mia when she found out who was behind Adrian. Mother and Mother Ecin were standing behind Adrian.

Mia directly put the Qur’annya. He immediately slid into his grandmother's arms.

“Emaaaakkkkk.” Mia was crying in her grandmother's arms. Titin's mother rubbed Mia's head. she let Mia cry as much.

Mia took off her open. Titin's mother noticed Mia's bruised and swollen face.

“Astagfirullahaladzim. Raray incu Mother Nepi keun ka kiyeu,” said Ms. Titin while rubbing Mia's face. (Astagfirullahaladhim. Mother's grandchild's face is like this.).

“Sick, no?” ask Titin's mother.

“The pain has been reduced,” replied Mia.

Mia turned to Ecin's mother.

“Bu Ecin how are you?” Mia cheers on Ecin's mother.

“Alhamdullilah, well,” replied Ms. Ecin.

“How is Citra?” ask Mia.

“Alhamdullilah, fine. But he was often moody because there were no friends. Usually he plays with Mia,” replied Ms. Ecin.

“Loh, not his friend much?” ask Mia.

“Kata Citra bosen play the same-that's it,” replied Ibu Ecin.

Adrian came out of Mia's room. He gave space to Mia to let go of longing with her family. Adrian took his phone to order food. He ordered food with the ojek app online, but he did not know how to order it. Understand that he used to tell his assistant if he wanted to order food. While ordering breakfast and lunch, Adrian told Lina to order food.

Adrian approached Mia's room. He heard Mia's voice talking to Ecin's mother and Titin's mother. Adrian knocked on Mia's room door. Shortly after, the door was opened by Lina.

“Lin, please help me order food. I don't know how to use the app,” Adrian said.

Lina came out of Mia's room. Adrian gives his phone to Lina.

“Bapak want to order what food?” ask Lina.

“Sundanese food only. Let it be accepted on Mother's tongue,” Adrian replied.

Lina searched for the restaurant Adrian wanted and then showed it to Adrian. Adrian chose the food menu. After completion Lina directly check out the order.

“Bapak just waiting for an order to be sent,” said Lina.

“Thank you, Lina,” Adrian said. Lina went back to Mia's room. Adrian watched television while waiting for the food to come.

Not long after that, Mia's room door opened. Those who were in Mia's room were all out of the room. Titin's mother approached Adrian.

“It is my duty to ensure the safety of my employees,” Adrian replied.

“Emak bring food for Mr. Adrian. As long as Mia is still in recovery surely Mia cannot cook for Mr. Adrian,” Ms. Titin said.

“Not bother, Mak. I can order food online,” replied Adrian.

“Odah., Asih which bag contains food?” ask Mom.

Asih and Odah look for the woven bag in question. The bag was blocked by other bags.

“Sama knows Sumedang too,” says Ibu Titin.

Asih took a woven bag along with white plastic containing Sumedang tofu.

“This, Mak.” Asih gave a woven and plastic bag to Ms. Titin.

Titin's mother put a white plastic on the table. He pulled out a large bushel from the basket. He put it on the table.

“This is Mom ngadamel pais hayam, pais side dish and pais salty side dish. Sambel tarasi, extravagant key and sambel oncom for Mr. Adrian,” said Ibu Titin. (It's Mommy cook chicken pepes, fish pepes and salted fish pepes. Treadable sambel, key meeting and oncom sambel for Mr. Adrian.)

“Thank you, Mom. Lots of food,” said Adrian.

“Emak special cook for Mr. Adrian,” said Mother.

“Emak also bring to know Sumedang for Mr. Adrian,” said Ms. Titin.

“Emak also brought opak, ranginang and banana sale for Mr. Adrian,” said Ms. Titin.

Adrian is shocked to hear that Titin's mother brought him a lot of food. Mia smiled at the dikulum looking at the shocked Adrian.

Titin's mother picked up a can of blek that was near the bag.

“This opak.” Ms. Titin keeps a tin of blek on the floor near the table. Then he took another can of blek and a black lasik.

“This ranginang.” Titin's mother put in a can of blek next to a can of opak blek.

“This banana sale.” Ms. Titin kept the black plastic on the table.

Adrian bengong saw the food that Mother Titin brought for him.

“This is for all of me, Mak?” adrian asked in disbelief.

“Iya. As a sign of gratitude to Mother because Mr. Adrian has saved Mia,” replied Ms. Titin.

Mr. Ujang entered the house through the back door.

“Pak, food order has come,” said Pak Ujang.

“Lin, please pay for the food,” Adrian said. Adrian gave six hundred thousand bills to Lina. Lina walked out of the house. Soon he entered the house carrying two white basil bags containing dus. He kept the plastic bag on the table.

“The order has arrived. Let's eat first,” Adrian said. Mia picked up the dishes for the side dishes from inside the closet. Then he took out food dus-dus from inside the pelastic. He arranged side dishes, lalap and sambel on the plate.

Adrian approached Mia.

“Quite side dishes?” ask Adrian.

“Enough. It looks like mostly,” said Mia.

“Nothing. Let's be satisfied eating,” replied Adrian.

“Emak, Ecin's mother we eat first!” bring Adrian.

Mother and Mother Ecin approached the dining table.

“Eating is a lot,” said Ms. Titin.

“It's okay. Let everyone be satisfied eating,” replied Adrian.

“Come everyone eat first,” invite Adrian.

Everyone comes to the dining table. They had dinner together.
