54. Contractions

Mr. Ratno stopped the car in front of the hospital lobby.

“You wait here. Mas will take a wheelchair.” Adrian is about to get off the car but Mia holds Adrian's hand.

“Nevent gone, Mas. Mia just walk,” said Mia.

“The maternity space is far away, let alone your leg hurts. So use a wheelchair only!” Adrian said.

Thirty minutes later Adrian returned.

“Wait a minute. Soon there are sisters coming to pick up,” Adrian said. Mia simply nodded, she was already limp from enduring the pain.

“Excuse.” A nurse entered the maternity room while pushing a wheelchair.

“I want to pick up a patient named Ms. Mia,” the nurse told the nurse.

“Please,” replied nurse.

The sister approached Mia. “Come, Mom. We move to the inpatient room,” said the nurse. The sisters help Mia get up and get out of bed. Then Mia sat in a wheelchair. The nurse pushed Mia out of the delivery room to the inpatient room.

The sisters help Mia get on the bed. Finally Mia was able to rest in peace.

“Thank you, Sus,” said Adrian when the nurse was about to leave the room.

“Sama-sama, Sir,” replied the nurse.

Adrian approached Mia. “Still his leg pain?” adrian asked as he rubbed Mia's head.

Adrian rubbed Mia's stomach. “Ade dear, quickly get out! Poor mommy's leg hurts,” Adrian said to his son who is still in the stomach.

Doctor Wid came out of Mia's room. Adrian immediately called Ms. Gita and told her that Mia was going to have a caesarean section.

After preparing for the operation, Mia was taken to the operating room. Adrian, Mr. Dandi, Ms. Gita and Daniel are waiting in front of the operating room. Adrian's face was so tense.
