59. New Secretary

At eight o'clock in the morning Daniel was sitting in the office lobby. He left early in the morning from his home in the Menteng area. He was in the office early in the morning to keep an eye on his employees who arrived late. Actually their working hours are at nine but eight and thirty they should already be in the office. The employees entered the office while joking while laughing but when they saw Daniel was sitting in the lobby with a hostile face they were silent and walked quickly into the office.

At eight-thirty Daniel was still sitting in the lobby waiting for the goods when someone arrived late. Tya and Uri did not turn to look at Daniel who was sitting in the lobby. They pretended to be busy rather than angry with Daniel. A car honda mobilio into the office yard. The car was parked right next to Daniel's car. Because the other car parks are already full of office cars and other employee cars.

The place where Daniel sat could look towards the parking lot. Daniel noticed who parked the car next to his car. A woman got out of the car.

It was the employee who arrived late yesterday, Daniel said in his heart.

The woman went into the office but when she saw Daniel she nodded her head at Daniel and went into the office.

At nine, Daniel stepped out of his seat. He felt all his employees had come all over and Daniel headed to his study.

At ninety-thirty, someone knocked on the door of his study. “Log in!” daniel shouted in a loud voice.

The door opened for Mr. Umar to enter Daniel's room. “Pak, employees have all gathered in the lobby,”, said Mr. Umar. The employees are gathered in the lobby because the meeting room cannot accommodate very many employees.

“Good.” Daniel got out of his big chair and walked outside. When he arrived at the lobby the employees were waiting for him while chatting. Daniel had to stand by the door of the cliff. Mr. Umar gave Daniel a microphone so that Daniel's voice could be heard by all employees.

“Good morning everyone.” Daniel greeted the employee. Hearing Daniel's voice suddenly the employees instantly remained silent.

“Include my name Daniel Utama. I am the new director of this company. As you-you know the ownership of this company has moved from Pak Haji Jaelani to belong to Pak Dandi Utama as repayment of Pak Haji Jaelani's debt to Mr. Dandi,” said Daniel. All the employees were silent and listened to Daniel.

“It should have been Mr. Haji Jaelani just giving the company assets to Mr. Dandi, but it turns out that he also gave all his employees to Mr. Dandi. Until you all become a burden Mr. Dandi. Mr. Dandi bestows all authority in this company to me so that this company I manage well,” continued Daniel.

“Forward!” said Daniel. Karima is moving forward. He stood next to Daniel.

“Are you ready to be my secretary?” ask Daniel.

“Siap, Sir,” Karima replied.

“Well if you are ready, from today you work as my secretary. Later will prepare a working table Mother by Mr. Taslim,” said Daniel.

“Pk Taslim, please prepare a work table for Ms. Karima!” said Daniel.

“Good, Sir,” replied Mr. Taslim.

“Good, Sir,” answered Karima. Daniel went back to his room.

Daniel was reading the documents in front of him. Suddenly the sound of the door being knocked. “Log in!” said Daniel. The door opened Karima standing in front of the door with a bag and a box containing her work equipment.

“Log in! Put your stuff on the table!” said Daniel.

Karima walks into Daniel's office. He kept the box on the table.

“I want to see rented and boarding houses. You know the place?” ask Daniel.

“No idea, Sir. I have never been there,” Karima replied. Daniel sighed hearing Karima's reply.

“Try you ask for the address to the marketing manager. All inquire for a rental home address too!” said Daniel.

“Good, Sir,” answered Karima. Karima came out of Daniel's room.

A few minutes later Karima came with a few pieces of paper and was given by Daniel. Daniel read the complete data on the costs and rented houses. The costs are in ten places. One boarding house consists of twenty rooms. The rented house is in thirty places. One contract consists of five doors.

“There are so many costs and rented houses,”, Daniel said when reading the data on costs and rent.

“You memorized not by the place name?” ask Daniel.

“Caba I see,” says Karima. Daniel gave the paper to Karima. Karima read the addresses listed on the paper.

“I know, Sir. It's around here,” Karima replied.

“OK, then we go now,” Daniel said. Daniel took the car keys on the table.

“You can drive a mercy car?” ask Daniel. Karima was silent and did not answer.

“I saw you bring the car to the office,” Daniel said.

Karima sighed. “I can drive a mercy car. I once drove my ex-husband's car,” Karima replied.

“Your ex-husband's car is mercy?” ask Daniel.

“Iya, Sir,” Karima replied.

“Hm. Great also your ex-husband,” praise Daniel.

Daniel gives Karima the car keys. “You drove the mobi. I don't know the way here,” said Daniel. Karima took the car keys out of Daniel's hand and they walked out of Daniel's study.
