23. Mother Asks to Go Home

After coming home from Adrian's office, Titin's mother didn't say much. He just looked out the window. Ecin's mother silently watched Titin's mother.

Did you shut up after knowing the name of Mr Daniel's father? ask Ecin's mother inwardly.

They finally got home. Mia has come home from a psychologist, she welcomes to the arrival of Titin's mother.

“Assalamualaikum,” said Ms. Titin when entering the house.

“Waalaikumsalam,” Mia replied. Mia kisses Titin's mother's hand.

“You've been coming a long time?” ask Titin's mother.

“New thirty minutes ago,” replied Mia.

“Emak already ate?” ask Mia.

“Not yet,” replied Ms. Titin.

“We eat, yuk,” take Mia.

“Let's go, Mom wants to pray first,” replied Ibu Titin. Titin's mother walked towards Mia's room.

Mother why? ask Mia in the heart.

“Bu Ecin!” Mia called to Ecin's mother who was climbing the stairs. He stopped and looked back. Mia approached Ecin's mother.

“What's Mia?” ask Ecin's mother.

“Emak why?” ask Mia.

“Why what?” ask Ecin's mother to pretend she doesn't know.

“Oh, maybe Mom is dizzy from the ups and downs of the liff,” replied Ms. Ecin.

Ecin's mother continued up the stairs leading to her room. Mia walked towards her room, she saw that she was praying dzuhur. Mia sat by the bed waiting for her grandmother to finish praying. Finally Ibu Titin finished praying.

“Mak, we eat yuk,” take Mia.

“Iya,” replied Ms. Titin.

After finishing folding the face Mia and Mother Titin came out of the room to the dining table. They sit at the dining table. Mia's got some rice for Titin's mom.

“Little bit of rice!” mother of Titin said

Mia poured a little rice into the dish and then she gave it to Mother Titin. Ecin's mother finished praying, she went down to the ground floor to eat.

“Bu Ecin, let's go to the tomb!” said Mia.

“Iya, briefly. I take the plate first,” replied Mrs Ecin.

Ecin's mother heads to the kitchen to pick up the dishes and returns to the dining room and joins Mia and Titin.

While they were eating, Mia saw her grandmother as not having any appetite.

“Mak, Mommy hurts?” ask Mia.

“Why do you ask like that?” ask Titin's mother.

“Kok, Mum ate just a little?” ask Mia.

Ecin's mother was sitting next to Titin's mother.

“Who will deliver food to whose office? Mia has not been able to go anywhere with the condition of the face that has not recovered, unless she went to therapy and check-up to the hospital,” asked Adrian.

“Asih who will deliver food to the office,” replied Mia.

“Asih has never come to my office. While Ibu Ecin the day after tomorrow will return to Sumedang. Then who will teach Asih how to go to my office?” ask Adrian.

Ecin's mother was silent, she didn't know what to say?

“Begin only. How about Ibu Ecin and Mum's return in ten days?” ask Adrian.

“Mak, Ibu Ecin must teach Asih how to go to Mr. Adrian's office,” said Mia gave understanding to Ms. Titin.

“What week is not enough?” ask Titin's mother.
