37. Marrying

The next day Adrian came to Mia's house at twelve p.m. Tonight he will patrol with the people around Mia's house. He was taken by Mr. Ratno. He deliberately asked to be delivered because he could not drive his own car after the patrol.

Adrian's arrival was welcomed by the fathers who had gathered in front of the house of Mrs Ecin.

“I think Mas Adrian will not come,” said Mr. RT who happened to patrol.

“Appointments must be kept, Sir,” replied Adrian.

“Throttle once,” said Mr RT.

Suddenly Ms. Ecin came out of the house with coffee and snacks.

“Waduh, so repotin Bu Ecin,” said Mr. RT.

“It's okay, Sir. Anyway there's only this.” Ecin's mother put her coffee and snacks on the table. The snack is in the form of bearded sweet potatoes, boiled beans and boiled cassava. A simple but delicious snack to enjoy at night.

Mia woke up from her sleep, she was about to go to the bathroom. He heard the voices of the fathers talking but he heard someone say Adrian's name. He also heard Adrian. Mia peeked into the side window overlooking Mother Ecin's house. He saw Adrian among the fathers who were chatting at the house of Ecin's mother.

“What is Mas Adrian doing tonight?” ask Mia to herself.

“What are you doing, Mia?” mother Titin asked who suddenly stood behind her while looking out the window.

“Mia heard the fathers name Mas Adrian. Mia also heard the voice of Mas Adrian,” Mia replied.

Titin's mother took a closer look.

“What Adrian join patrolling?” ask Titin's mother.

“Mia don't know, Mak. Mas Adrian did not say anything,” replied Mia.

“There-there he is, already want to be near the wedding day even follow the patrol,” said Ibu Titin.

“You told Adrian, don't watch anymore! Later on the wedding day he even got sick because of lack of sleep,” continued Ms. Titin.

“Iya, Mak,” replied Mia.

“Already, Mom wants to wudhu first. Mother wants to pray tahajud,” said Ibu Titin. Titin's mother walked towards the bathroom.

Mia went back to her room and took her cell phone. He brought the phone out of the room for fear of disturbing Lina who was sleeping soundly. Mia was standing at the window. He opened the curtain and sent a message to Adrian.

Mia :

[Mas, said Mum don't watch anymore. Fear of getting sick on the wedding day.]

Mia sent a message. Mia sees Adrian taking the phone out of her pants pocket and reads the message Mia sent. Adrian looked towards the house of Titin's mother. He saw someone peeking out of the glass window. Adrian replied to Mia's message.

By Adrian :

[Yes, baby.]

Adrian waved his hand at Mia.  Mia returned Adrian's hand.

“Iya, Mak.” Mia closed the window curtain. Then he walked to the bathroom for ablution.

Today is Mia and Adrian's wedding day. From early morning Mia had woken up to be groomed by the bride fairies. His small room was full of bridal fairies. Some put on makeup, some put a cutex on her nails.

“Why wear cutex? Later I can not pray.” Mia protested when she saw her nails worn by cutex instead of henna.

“It's okay, Tea. Later removed when it is finished reception,” replied one of the wedding fairies.

Meanwhile outside of Mia's room, Ibu Titin and Ibu Ecin were busy preparing breakfast for the guests but it wasn't Mother Titin who was cooking. He ordered food from the food seller.

At eight in the morning Mia was done in makeup, she wore a white kebaya, her head covered with a white veil. Shortly after, Ryan arrives to pick up Mia. He used Adrian's Mercedes Benz S Class.

“Sign in first Mr. Ryan. I've prepared breakfast,” said Ms. Titin when Ryan appeared in front of Ms. Titin's house.

“Thank you, Mom. I had breakfast at the hotel, ” replied Ryan.

“Then just drink coffee while eating a snack. Tuh, I've prepared the snack.” Titin's mother pointed to the table that was in the living room.

“Thank you, Mom,” Ryan said.

Ryan went inside Titin's mother's house. He took a sponge cake served on the table. He ate the cake while waiting for Mia to come out of the room. Shortly after, Mia came out of the room. Seeing Mia already out Ryan immediately finished the cake he was eating. They should go to the building immediately.

“Not to be in a hurry, Mr Ryan! Eat the cake first,” said Mia.

“It's over, Ma'am,” replied Ryan.

Lina came out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee for Ryan. Lina put the coffee cup in front of Ryan.

“Diminum coffee first,” says Ms. Titin.

“I'm so troublesome Mom.” Ryan felt bad for bothering Mother Titin.

“It's okay, really. Let's drink first! If it's cold is not good,” said Ibu Titin.

Ryan has coffee. After drinking a few sips Ryan got up from his seat.

“Let's go now, Ma'am!” said Ryan.

All the guests were out of Mother Titin's house because they were also going to head to the building. Ecin's mother locked the house of Titin's mother. Mia and Ibu Titin get in Adrian's car. While Ms. Ecin, Lina and Ms. Ecin's family ride in a car owned by Ms. Ecin. They went to the building on Gending Street.

When they reached the front of the building Mia and Mother Titin got off the car. Their arrival was welcomed by the wedding organizer. The wedding organizer took Mia to the wedding venue. Adrian and his entourage are already at the marriage contract. Adrian's entourage consisted of Adrian's family living abroad. Daniel and Adrian staff and employees.

She sat down next to Adrian. Adrian looks very handsome and dashing by using a black suit. Complete with tie and kopeyah. Once all is ready the marriage contract begins. For the dowry Adrian gives is a set of gold jewelry amounting to a hundred grams with studded diamonds. The jewelry is a relic of late-mama Adrian. Now Adrian give it to Mia. In one attraction is heard the legal word of the guests who witnessed the marriage contract of Mia and Adrian.

“Alhamdullilahhirabbil alamin,” says Adrian and Mia. Then Mia kisses Adrian's hand and Adrian kisses Mia's forehead. Wedding ceremony closed sawer bride.
