Hanifa For Devan

Hanifa For Devan
Mind-brought

It's a little cold tonight. The wind blew hard enough to get into the house. The haw immediately felt piercing when touching the skin of Hanifa who was still covered with mucena.

Azan Isya just reverberated. After finishing the prayer, he chose to sit in the living room accompanying his sisters who were busy doing homework.

“Kak Ifa, can you help Nia answer this?" asked a girl approaching Hanifa.

The milky-white-clothed girl smiled at Nia's anxious face. He immediately nodded and told her to sit next to him.

"Where's that?"

Nia showed her book to Hanifa. “This, Brother. Nia doesn't know how to do it yet."

"Oh, this one." Hanifa took the book out of Nia's hands and prepared to explain how.

“For example, right, Nia has one box of chocolates. Then the contents of one box of chocolate was 12 packs. After that Nia ate 1 pack, divided into Irfan and Meta each 2 packs. Well, the question is how many packs of Nia chocolate are left?"

Hanifa picked up the pen and began to explain how to sum the question up on a paper.

“First of all, Nia totalin first how many packets of chocolate Nia ate and Nia shared to Irfan and Meta, after which Nia reduced the number of chocolate packs with the above results. Kayak gini, I guess,

Eaten chocolate \= 1

Chocolates divided \= 4

1+4 \= 5

Natural brown quantity \= 12, so 12-5 \= 7.

Means the amount of chocolate left is only 7 packs."  Hanifa gave the graffiti to Nia.

The beautiful girl seemed to understand. "So, for the next question how to do it like this huh, sister?"

Hanifa nodded. "Yes." Yeah."

“Thank you, Brother Ifa," he said with a smile of joy.

“Sama-sama, Deck. Yeah, well, you go to the room first, yeah."

Nia nodded and smiled towards Hanifa who had already disappeared behind the door.

Crings ... Crings ... Crates

The first bell rings. Indicates that the learning will begin soon. All the students who had been there who were busy chatting in the front of the class rushed in because soon their teachers would soon provide learning.

“Who are you looking for, Ayy?" hanifa asked when she saw her best friend and sitting friend turning their head to look for someone.

“I'm looking for Rian. My physical book was borrowed with him yesterday. Today's not the lesson, Miss Endah, if there's any practice how?"

“Wait just. Maybe he'll come soon" said Hanifa trying to calm her best friend.

Not yet Ayyan nodded, Rio came to her.

“This is your book Ayy. Rian can't come in today, so he's got me."

Ayyan accepted the book. "Rian why don't you come in?"

“She's sick. Yesterday he was taken to the hospital" Rio explained.

""Oh, that," he said. "How are you doing?"

Rio raised his shoulders. "I don't know."

“Poor Rian. Btw, thanks, yeah, Rio."

"Okay," he answered and immediately sat on his stool because Endah's mother as the teacher had entered.

“Today I leave a note for you. You see, today I'm busy with the XII class exam, so I hope you guys can finish the record before stonemasonry. Next week I'll explain."

One compact class answer. "Yes, Mom."

Rio as the class secretary came forward and took the book from Endah's mother. After handing over the note to Rio, Miss Endah left to take care of her interests.

“Eh, Fa. Rian is one of our group. What if we look at him after school?"

Hanifa just nodded. Hearing Rian being taken to the hospital, suddenly his mind floated while in the mansion yesterday.

Flashback On ...

“Ayo, Nak," ask doctor Arif for umpteenth time.

Hanifa let out a breath. His legs are lighter now than before.  After entering a spacious room, Hanifa had not seen the figure of Devan that the father and woman had meant earlier.

“How could he faint? Did you have breakfast this morning and take your medicine?" ask doctor Arif while examining the man who is now lying weak unconscious.

Jihan shook her head. "Bi Mar brought her breakfast. But Jihan doesn't know if she's been taking any drugs Doc" replied the woman.

Doctor Arif let out a long breath. He looked at Hanifa to ask her to get something.

Hanifa approached while giving her the bag of equipment in her hand. “This, Dad."

After giving the bag to his father, then he could see a face that was unconscious. That face looks very pale. It was a figure that often disturbed his mind lately.

Devan, hopefully get well soon, yeah. His whisper in his heart.

Hanifa held his chest. For some reason, there is a sense of tightness to see the condition of the man in front of him. Her eyes felt hot and watery.

“So, the boy that dad meant is Devan? The child who had his breath stopped. Brain tumor," he continued. He was talking, but no one was listening.

Flashback off ...

“Can he be cured?" muttered.

“Who?" ask Ayyan. No matter how little Hanifa spoke, Ayyan's ears must have heard her.

Hanifa who had been daydreaming, again realized with Ayyan's words earlier.

“What? Hanifa asked back.

Ayyan furrowed her brows. "Well, why ask back, Fa?"

Seeing Hanifa's face that seemed to not understand her meaning, Ayyan scratched her non-itchy head.

“Fa, you are not 40 years old. How senile is he? You talked to yourself, you said she could be healed? Well, I asked who can be healed?"

Hanifa only realized that she was daydreaming Devan. Apparently his daydream was heard by his best friend. Actually Hanifa wanted to tell a story, but this was not the time. Soon he found an excuse to make Ayyan unsuspecting and asked again.

“Mmmm, I mean Rian. Hopefully the disease is not severe so it can be cured soon," his alibi lied.

Ayyan nodded and guaranteed what her colleague said just now. He no longer seems suspicious. Hanifa glanced at the mini watch in her hand. At 09:50, the sign of staying five minutes rest.

“Oh yes, Fa, I forgot. Yesterday you did not come to practice, today after school we will prepare everything. And expected all to attend.”

Hanifa nodded without looking.

“Well, where were you yesterday?" ask Ayyan again.

Still with her hands busy with notes, Hanifa answered her potluck. "Then I went to my dad's friend's house. And it was a little late afternoon, so there was no time to attend."

“Okey, but today don't forget to attend yes. I'll take you home."

"Yes." Yeah."

***

“Ummi, Ifa departs, yes. Assalamualaikum."

Umm Fatimah, who was busy in the kitchen, answered her potluck because she believed her son would be fine if he went with Ayyan.

Sure enough, when just out the door Hanifa greeted Ayyan's smile with his Vario motorbike.

“Wah, the princess just came out," ledeknya.

Hanifa simply responded to her best friend's joke with a smile. After boarding, Ayyan drives her motorcycle to school before they are late.

It didn't take long to get to school. Ayyan parked her bike, while Hanifa waited near the gate. After that, they rushed to the field.

They were a minute late. The other members have started working. Without a long wait, Ayyan and Hanifa immediately helped. But Hanifa was surprised when she saw Devan helping to install poles for the stage.

“Is he healthy?" hanifa asked in her heart.

“Hanifa, please help others install these curtains yes." Wafi's voice shocked him.

Hanifa nodded immediately. “Good, Brother."

Wafi smiled. "Thank you, yeah."

In the midst of the busyness of all the members, Devan who was resting and drinking was secretly watching someone. His blue irises rose and fell paying attention to the object in front of him. His eyes narrowed even more as the top pole swayed and would fall on the person below.

He threw the bottle and ran fast.

"HEY LOOKOUT!!"

Devan shouted for the person who was putting up the curtain to leave. But apparently the one who was shouted did not hear.

Brakk!

The iron pole fell on Devan. His next hand was injured from protecting someone. Fortunately, the iron pole that fell was only one so as not to make Devan seriously injured.

Upon seeing the frightened face, Devan immediately pulled the pole over and left. He paid no heed to the wound on his hand that had already let out a red liquid.
