Hanifa For Devan

Hanifa For Devan
Epilogues

Hanifa POVs

"Alright, up to here first an explanation of the material from me. The next material will be delivered by Dr Bayu. Good day and thank you."

All the new students in front of me nodded. Thank God the ospek activities on the third day went well. After the material from the doctor Bayu, five more minutes isoma time. Since my task was done, I set foot towards the gate.

Before that, I checked my phone and saw that there were already ten missed call notifications there. I took a long breath.

I'm pretty sure the owner of this number will be nagging all the way because none of his calls have been answered.

The cling!

A message came in, after seeing the sender I smiled. "It's only been a few minutes to think, uh it has appeared," I said as I read the message.

...My husband is 'After...

If the show is over, wait

in front of Musholla.

Okay, I don't think I need to pay it back. I'd better see her before her badmood level increases. After a minute through the hospital hallway, I finally arrived at my destination.

He said to wait in front of Musholla, but where's the guy? my eyes tried to find the subject around the place of worship, but what was sought did not even show the trunk of his nose.

"It seems like he has not come out, I better pray first," I decided to go in and immediately took the water.

Four rakaat Ashar prayers, finished already, but what is sought has not been seen. As soon as I was going to put the face I was wearing in its place, my eyes accidentally caught the figure that was being solemn with his prayer.

"You never change."

"Who, Doc?" Someone's voice from behind suddenly startled me.

"Astagfirullah, Ma'am Nana. Just surprise me."

The woman who was still wearing the nurse's clothes only let out a small laugh. "I'm sorry Doctor Hanifa," he said.

"Are you praying?" ask and get a nod from him.

"Doctor Hanifa is the best if you give motivation. That was so cool Doc. Two thumbs up for the doctor," he commented with a smile while showing both thumbs.

"I'm just sharing my experience, ma'am."

"Any Hanifa's experience is the best."

I shook my head slowly. One of my seniors is often exaggerated when judging things. "Will Nana go home?"

The woman shook her head. "Later, Fa. Five o'clock," he answered. "Are you done with the show?"

"Alhamdulillah, Ma'am. It's coming home."

"Eh, Hanifa. I was curious about the same thing you said. Why can you be so sure that every disease we suffer can be cured? Even if it's a deadly disease."

Hearing that, I smiled. "I am sure of the greatness of God, Mother. I believe all of that because I've experienced it."

"You have a history of cancer?"

"It's not me, Ma'am," I replied as I walked to the exit. "I used to have temen. He has a stage 3 tumor. Even then, I had thought that he could not survive the operation. But God showed me the opposite. My third-stage friend is cured, ma'am."

Ma'am Nana rounded her eyes when she heard my story earlier. "Subhanallah. Where is your friend now?"

I'll just answer, someone's voice calls me.

"You're here? I don't think you ran the show yet."

Mama and I saw the source of the sound. The man in the white coat was smiling. Her front hair looked slightly wet due to the ablution water.

"Oh yes Ma'am, Na. The friend I told you about was here. Third-stage friends who are currently my soul mate" I whispered to him.

"What's? Masya Allah. You don't think this handsome doctor is your husband, Fa. May your marriage be a blessing, yes."

"Aamiin," I replied. "Mas, this is Ms. Nana. Nurse in Melati's room."

All that is revealed is smiling. "Hello" he answered briefly. Yeah, very short.

"When?" ask the man to see me again.

I'm nodding. "Mr, Na. I'll go home first, yeah. Assalamualaikum."

"Be careful, Doc. Wa'alaikum greetings."

Leaving Mbak Nana who went to his room, we walked to the parking lot. Since the work was done together, he and I decided to go home.

"Why is his face like that?" ask when installing the seat belt.

I'm turning. "No papa."

I took a slow breath. "I'm just surprised, why was your attitude cold as Madam Nana? He's my senior, Mas."

"I'm, right, as usual as that, Fa."

"Until when?"

He turned his eyes towards me, then smiled. "My wife, I'm acting like that to take care of myself and your feelings."

"meaning?"

If I was warm to every woman I met, I was afraid they would fall in love.

I round my eyes in disbelief with the answer earlier, the feeling I never specified the word woman.

"Mas don't be spooky, deh."

"Do you not believe?" I immediately shook my head. "Okay, I'll prove it to you let you believe. But don't be surprised if suddenly the room full of flowers and food."

"That's a big centil, anyway," I said I didn't see it.

Looking at my slightly irritated face, she laughed instead. "That one wants you, baby. You don't want me to be cold with people, do you? But I don't want responsibility, yes, the same feelings of those who secretly like me. Except ..."

"Except what?" This time I saw him, for a moment.

"Unless you want to be pitted."

"Evil," I said, singing an irritated lip. I don't know what my face looked like at that time to make him chuckle.

"Look at your ummi behavior. He told Abi not to cool off with anyone else. Uh, now it's ummimu who's licking. Abi was doing it for his own good too. Later if it is already big do not kayak Ummi, yes," he said who now stroked the stomach that has been slightly enlarged.

“It turns out, restoring the mood of the pregnant women is difficult as well yes," he complained.

"Who told the betrothed to get married again."

He rounded his eyes. "Who said I want to marry again, who does it love?"

"What was that? Honey-honey?!"

"God. So you're taking it seriously?"

"No idea."

"The story's anger?"

I didn't answer. "Not good, angry with your husband."

"I'm not angry, Mom, but you're the one who's crazy."

"Hanifa, horrified ya, until whenever I will not marry again. Even if you tell me to, I won't. The answer looks serious. It's so complicated, how do you want to add?" mumbling again.

I who heard it looked at him. "So that means I'm taking nicotine? Is that?"

"It's not that, honey. Oh, my God, what's wrong?" he said patting his head. "Okay, I'm sorry if I'm wrong. I pulled my words just now, you are not at all ngerepotin. Sorry, yeah."

Seeing her face like that made me want to laugh. My husband is adorable. Forgive your servant God, I didn't mean to make him feel guilty. After this, I promise to apologize. But before that, let me enjoy this adorable face. Just once, God.

"My wife, you should know, yeah. Whatever my attitude to others, it's for you. And I put my cold attitude where it should be. My warm attitude is enough for you. Can't be anyone else. So, don't sulk anymore, yeah."

I nodded slowly. Seeing her smile, my heart became calmer. "I'm sorry about that, too, yeah. I'm not actually angry. Just saying doang," I said.

"What?"

"But you can't get angry later. I was sorry earlier. Now we go home, yeah, I'm laper."

I thought he'd be upset after knowing everything, but my guess was wrong. He was not angry at all, even now he was smiling, very sweet.

"So the baby's laper, huh, hm?" he came back to rub my stomach. "Okay, let's go home now."

His right hand began to drive, while the other hand was holding my hand, very tightly.

Yeah, that's my life now. With the Grace and Greatness of God, I finally achieved my dream of becoming a doctor. About Devan, since he was declared cured of his tumor, he continued his schooling abroad.

Allah is All-Good, His goodness has kept me and Devan alive to this day, fighting together through all trials and trials. Until this is where we are now, placed in the same hospital so that we take care of each other, even though different rooms. I am a Pediatrician, while Devan is a Cardiologist, and also a father-to-be of a baby who has just entered this first trimester.

All the success and happiness we have now, has not escaped the role of God in our lives. We have survived to this day because God has strengthened us. We can fight together because God has given us the pleasure.

All the endings of life begin with bitterness and pain. Our happiness today is the fruit of patience. Be confident in what has been set for you, good bad. Allah knows the capacity of his servant, so He has measured the amount of the test that will be given to him.

Be patient, God's promise is true.

And be patient, verily Allah is with those who are patient. The Truth of Allah with His Word.
