"Oh my God, I'm late. I shouldn't have eaten Ayyan before," he grumbled as he walked quickly.
He glanced at his watch several times, it was three o'clock ten minutes. He should have reached Devan's house by now, instead of just leaving. I don't know what time he'll get there.
Hanifa swept across the street corner in front of her, trying to find a taxi or an angkot passing by. Unfortunately, hope is not in line with reality. He later regretted his actions that said he did not need to be escorted by his father's personal driver today on the grounds that he would return home quickly.
However, Ayyan took a few minutes. "There is nothing wrong here, Fa," he said, not blaming anyone
A few minutes thinking and not yet getting an answer, he finally decided to run fast towards Devan's house. Hanifa was worried that if Devan was late to take her medicine, her condition would drop again.
The distance from Devan's house to the school is not too far away. It only takes a cousin a minute to get to school on a motorcycle. But with footsteps, either Hanifa will take how many hours.
Right half way, Amel who happened to pass by and saw Hanifa was running to stop his motorbike. Apparently he wanted to offer Hanifa to come with him. After explaining his purpose, Amel nodded and said that his house was not far from Devan's house.
Hanifa felt very helped. Immediately he climbed onto Amel's motorbike to shorten his delay. Ten minutes later, he was already in front of the gate of Devan's house. The guards opened the gates for him.
Before entering, Hanifa tried to catch her breath that was boring from running earlier. “Assalamualaikum," he said at the door.
“Waalaikum greetings," replied bi Mar, the maid in the big house.
After opening the door, the middle-aged woman smiled. "Non Hanifa, Aden's new doctor?"
Hanifa smiled and shook her head quickly. "I'm not a doctor yet, Bi. I'm just helping dad to keep an eye on Devan."
“Ah, yes. Let's go in, Non." The house assistant was.
“Devan is in his room, Bi?' ask Hanifa. He does not want to enter carelessly, especially to the room of a man who is not his mahram.
“So Auntie saw Aden go to the back garden, Non. Try Non Hanifa looking into the back garden," suggested bi Mar.
Hanifa nodded. “Iya, Bi. Thank you." Thank you."
Bi Mar smiled and nodded. "Together, Non."
Just about to go to the park, Hanifa held her foot back from remembering something. "Oh yes, Bi. Where's Jihannya?"
“Non Jihan from this morning out, Non, go to the office. Not home yet. Usually come home late."
“Oh, so."
“Ya already, Non. Auntie's going to the kitchen first, yeah."
Hanifa immediately smiled and allowed the woman to return to her routine. While he had to go see the owner of this house in the park.
When she reached the back door, Hanifa's eyes were spoiled by the beauty that was there. The garden is quite spacious, complete with a variety of colorful flowers. In the center there is a small pond with a small fountain. Real beautiful.
After being satisfied to see the beauty of the park, now Hanifa is busy looking for the existence of Devan. His eyes managed to catch the figure reading a book on a long white bench under a shady tree.
Before actually taking a step, Hanifa took a deep breath and said bismillah. I don't know why he was so nervous.
"Assalamualaikum," said Hanifa.
“What time is it, right?!" reply Devan without seeing a new figure coming.
Hanifa had expected this to happen. So, he immediately looked for the reason that was most acceptable to the man.
“Sorry. I didn't get a taxi here, so ak-"
“Alesan! You're going to the organization, right? Every organization teaches discipline. And your attitude this time doesn't reflect that at all." Not yet had time to end his sentence, Devan had already cut.
“Iya, I know I was wrong. Next time this won't happen again" replied Hanifa.
“What if you repeat again?" ask Devan. This time his eyes did not face the book, but were facing Hanifa.
Seeing the dislike expression from Devan's face, Hanifa fell silent. Before speaking, he exhaled a long breath.
“If this happens again. I will quit this task," Hanifa replied half-confidently.
Devan smiled cynically. "OKAY. I hold your talk," he said again then continued reading his book and ignored Hanifa's presence beside him.
Not caring about Devan's attitude, Hanifa sat herself down beside Devan and took out the medicine her father gave her yesterday.
“If it is too late why? Am I going to die?"
“One's death only God knows. Humans just need to try. And this drug is one of the efforts so that you recover quickly. And I want you to take this medicine right now."
“You can do it too, right? Not even now."
“Devan, now that I'm in charge of my work with my father. So I have a responsibility to your health. And now I want you to take this medicine, "persuade Hanifa.
Seeing Devan still indifferent, Hanifa opened the medicine one by one and placed it into Devan's hands.
“Lo makes a really big!"
“This is for your health, Devan."
Devan is upset with Hanifa. Even so, he still took the medicine that was already in his hands.
"SATURATED!?" he said after taking the medicine.
Hanifa smiled seeing him.
“Aalhamdulillah's. Thank you, yes. Already want to work together. And here, you'll drink after you eat" Hanifa said, putting the medicine on a table near Devan's seat. After that he left.
“Eh. Where are you going?" sergeant Devan.
“You go home. My job today is done, and you don't need someone like me here either. So, what am I staying here for?"
Without answering, Devan stood up, brought his book and looked at Hanifa for a while. "Follow me!" he said and went ahead of Hanifa.
The two eyebrows of Hanifa swooped in puzzlement. “Where to?"
Devan didn't respond to Hanifa's question just now. He kept his feet going inside.
“Devan!" call Hanifa. Unfortunately, Devan's shadow has disappeared.
Hanifa snorted in annoyance. There's no other choice. Then he caught up with the man. But when she was inside the house, Hanifa did not see anyone.
“What is he in his room?" think Hanifa.
“Already. I'd better just go home, "break it off and put his foot out.
After closing the door, Hanifa was surprised by Devan's car that was already in front of her. As the windshield opened, Hanifa saw Devan sitting behind the wheel.
“Log in!" decreed again.
Hanifa shook her head quickly. Intended to refuse. “Where are you?" tanyakanya.
"Bawel really. It's coming in!"
Hanifa did not want to argue with the ice man anymore. He really felt tired today. Therefore, he chose to obey Devan's wishes. Without waiting for long, Hanifa immediately opened the car door and sat in the back.
“Eh you why sit in the back? I am not your personal driver. Sit in front!"
Hanifa shook her head. “We are not muhrim," he replied.
“Gue won't do anything. I've moved!”
Hanifa gave up again. He sat next to Devan. After that, he drove his car out of the big house.
“Where are we going?" ask Hanifa for the umpteenth time. But not a word came out of his mouth. Along the way, Hanifa confused herself. Where exactly is Devan taking him?
Thirty minutes later, Devan's car stopped. Hanifa squinted her eyes at the place in front of her. The building was no stranger to his mind.
Why did Devan stop at this place? hanifa asked in her heart.
“Down!" devan said to rule.
"What?"
