Hanifa For Devan

Hanifa For Devan
An Accidental Proposal

"I'm home, yeah. Assalamualaikum," said the girl waving then slowly disappearing in the hospital hallway.

The blue netra that had since looked at the shadow lowered its head, then turned to look at another object. Now for the second time he's in this park, alone. Not five minutes away from Hanifa, Arif's doctor had just arrived by hand carrying a few packs of food.

“Lho, alone, son Devan? Where's hanifa?"

Devan who was previously daydreaming finally realized. Smile at the man who is now nearby. “So the snail eh means Hanifa, already home, Doc."

Doctor Arif scrunched his forehead. "When why?"

Devan raises both his shoulders. He also did not know the reason behind the girl's sudden return. "So ummi called, kept being told to go home. Said there was an important guest."

Doctor Arif nodded and took her place next to Devan. “Tadi pas Om want to come here, there is a man who greeted Om and asked Hanifa's address," said the man.

“Laki-male? Who's Doc?"

“Nah, Om know less. You know, Om has never seen it. But he looks like a year bigger than you" replied Doctor Arif remembering the young man's face.

Doctor Arif's last words made Devan think. Her memory returned when she accidentally bumped into Wafi at a cafe before the exam.

Two weeks ago ...

"Sorry," said Devan to leave.

"Devan, wait!" prevent Wafi from stopping his steps. “For the last time I asked, you have nothing to do with Hanifa?"

“Hasbi Warafqi Firyas, for the last time I replied, You have no right to know my personal affairs. Excuse me."

“Hanifa my future wife, and will soon propose to her," she said, instantly silencing her words.

That's all Devan heard. For him it was not important, therefore he immediately left because from the beginning he did not like the man.

“Dok, is the man tall, white and there is a mole on the tip of his nose?"

Doctor Arif nodded. “Do you know him?"

Is Wafi serious about what he says? Inner Devan ignored the question of Dr. Arif.

“Dok, the doctor can take me to the home?"

Doctor Arif was surprised by Devan's words just now. “You what? You're sick again Devan. The hospital didn't give you permission to go anywhere."

Devan stood up, then left the doctor Arif who called him many times. “Devan! You won't be able to get out if the hospital clothes are still attached to your body!" his yell.

Devan stopped, thinking for a moment. “Doctor Arif is right. I can't go out in this dress" he muttered to himself and went somewhere.

In the bathroom, Devan was pecking himself in front of the mirror. “Thank God my ears were screaming doctor Arif earlier. No one would suspect me if I dressed like this."

"Look at this. I'm handsome too, wearing ginian." Devan praised himself, after which he went out.

Now his footsteps are steady out of the hospital in a blue hem shirt with a white T-shirt on the inside, and black jeans complete with a white hat attached to his head.

Upon arrival at the hospital gate, the taxi he had just booked came. Devan, who is still a patient, entered and left the hospital. Of course followed by doctor Arif from behind.

Thirty minutes later, the car carrying Devan stopped. He immediately came out after paying the fare. His feet had not yet moved in because his vision was blurred.

After making sure he was good, then his feet slowly entered the small gate as the main entrance of the home. His eyes swept the courtyard around. There was a black car by the door.

“What's in?" Devan asked himself.

Amidst his confusion, there was suddenly someone greeting him from behind. "Sister Devan?"

“Eh, Salma. Assalamualaikum."

“Waalaikum greetings, Brother," he replied with his trademark smile. Very sweet.

“Kak Devan why come here? I'd like to see Brother Ifa, would you?"

Devan nodded, then smiled slightly. At that moment he held his head next to her, as it hurt a lot. Salma who saw him was worried.

“Kak Devan why? Brother Devan is sick?"

Devan, who kept his head firmly, was unable to answer Salma's question. As his face lifted, his vision blurred and everything darkened.

When he opened his eyes, he already saw Jihan and doctor Arif in his room.

"Gue, where is it?"

Jihan, who just wanted to scold her sister, was immediately pacified by Dr. Arif. “What do you feel Devan?" ask the man.

"I don't know anything, Doc."

“Yes already, now you rest first, yes," jihan pinta and immediately got a nod from his sister.

After making sure that Devan is completely rested, doctor Arif left Jihan who was still busy tidying up the bed and clothes Devan had just brought, and approached her daughter who had been waiting outside.

“Dad, how's Devan doing?" ask Hanifa worriedly.

Doctor Arif who saw the anxious look on his daughter's face nodded in understanding. Then he told his daughter to sit back.

“Quiet, Nak Devan is fine. Now he's on a break."

Hanifa let out a sigh of relief. "Thank God then. Ifa can't see him later, Dad?"

“Of course, Son. But let him rest first, yeah. He's got to take a full break before surgery." Doctor Arif sighed.

“Should've banned him from leaving earlier. I don't know what made him leave in such a hurry?" mumbling again.

Hanifa. Now he just remembered that Devan's day after tomorrow had to be operated. The thing that made him even sadder was what if the operation failed? What if he left during the operation? Ah, those bad guesses filled his head again.

“Now we eat, yes. We're looking for a place to eat around here" said Dr. Arif and managed to get Hanifa out of her bad imagination.

After lunch at a restaurant near the hospital, Hanifa and Arif's doctor chose to perform Ashar prayers at the mosque. Azan just reverberated. After performing the prayer, Hanifa asked her father for permission to see Devan for a while.

Several times Hanifa took her breath in, then took it out. As soon as he arrived at the door where Devan was being treated, Hanifa was silent for a while. Slowly his hand turned the door knob and opened it. He saw Devan's sleeping eyes.

“Assalamualaikum, Van. I'm sorry I just got here, but I haven't been here long. I'm just as willing to go home. You take care of your health" Hanifa said half-whispering not to wake the man.

As Hanifa was looking through the room, Devan's eyes opened next door. But soon he shut down so Hanifa wouldn't know. Just about to leave, Devan stops Hanifa.

“So you don't feel guilty? Play go that way," chirped Devan suddenly with a position that has been sitting.

Hanifa immediately turned around. "Devan? Are you awake?" ask and sit back. "You're okay, right?"

Devan looked at the woman in front of him with a very calm expression, as if there was nothing he was suffering from. “Gue is not papa. Tu, Lo can see for himself right," he replied acting healthy.

“Tadi, why are you suddenly home?"

“Entahlah. I also don't know, why suddenly my foot goes to Lo's house."

“Any. But you really aren't papa, are you?"

“Iyaaa, bring it," she replied smiling.

"Fa, I want to say something to you Lo."

Hanifa. "What?"

Before speaking, Devan fixed his sitting position. “In the past, I asked you about people who want to bed. But you answer not to accept because it is still school. But now will you refuse?"

Hanifa was silent for a moment. Does Devan know about Mr. Wafi's proposal? His inner.

“Fa, are men not perfect as I deserve to be your life companion?" ask Devan again.

This time Hanifa gasped. "What do you mean?"

Devan took his breath for a while, then took it out slowly. “Gue doesn't know if my life will be long or not. But before I go, there is at least someone who holds my hand and doain me, there are people who hope for my recovery, there are people who will seduce God for my love of life again. "

Hanifa was still silent, trying to hear her next sentence.

“Gue don't expect there to be an angel that I will. Although many people want it. But I just hope, the woman who won me later it's, lo. Hanifa."

“You're no longer making a will to me, are you, Van?"

Devan chuckled looking at Hanifa's face. "It turns out you haven't been sensitive either. I'm applying to lo Hanifa, but use another language."

“You're kidding, right?"

"Gue seriously" he said. "Lo wants to, right, be my wife?"

"Devan, you can't joke. Light now you rest, yeah."

“This time I'm serious. I promise I'll heal for you." Devan took a breath. "Come on. What language do I want to use again?"

"Devan, marriage is not something that can be brought playfully." Hanifa warned.

"Fa, I'm sure that you haven't received Wafi's proposal, right?" Hanifa nodded slowly. "Thank God."

"OKAY. Let you believe that I'm serious, you're beating me." Devan straightened his back. Hanifa was silent and ready to hear what the man was going to say.

“Hanifa, in the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful. With His greatness and compassion, I, Devan Ibrahim as one part of His Creation will lamar lo. Will you accept my proposal?"

Hanifa tried to digest what had just been said from the man in front of her. His eyes had not stopped staring at the figure in front of him.He knew all along Devan had never cared for him. But he knows that Devan is a good man. Hanifa could see the seriousness in her eyes.

If Devan's proposal is accepted, what about Wafi's sister? Hanifa asked her little heart.

“I can isikharah first?" pinta Hanifa's.

Devan smiles. Not yet able to nod, doctor Arif has entered with a face that is difficult to interpret. Apparently he had heard all those conversations.

“Dad?"

Devan rounded his eyes, surprised by the presence of doctor Arif along with a gaze that he could hardly understand.

Doctor Arif? since when is he here? is he gonna be mad because I just applied for his daughter? Does he disagree with this proposal? the questions were spinning in his head.
