Grizzled

Grizzled
Episode 8

I stared bored at the dripping water on the window. A few minutes ago it was just drizzling, now turning into a torrential rain shower. Most of my friends are happy that Monday's ceremony was canceled. The bad news, the first hour, biology, experiments in the laboratory were also canceled. I was so enthusiastic. The summary that should be discussed next week should be discussed now.

“Put notes on the table!” order Bu Listiyah, then check one by one the student records. I just resigned.

“What is this, Ra?” ask Yasinta.

“Be quiet, Yas,” I replied. Yasinta was just dumbfounded to see my work. Most of my friends are diligent children who have long since completed the summary even though the assessment should be next week.

“Shira, I don't want to hear you haven't summarized anything yet, show me your notes!” said Ms. Lis.

“This, ma'am,” I replied handing over a piece of A3 drawing paper. Inside is a colorful concept map that is fun to see —in my opinion.

“What is this?!”

“That's a concept map, ma'am,” I replied casually.

“My command is to make a summary of the material, not pictures like this!” answer him angry. Some kids laugh at me.

“It's much more compact, ma'am. Easier to learn. I'm easier to understand the material with this method than to rewrite the ones already in the book.”

“Oh, would you like to say that my methods are troublesome? Good thing, you remain dissident as usual, then I will also give you value with my methods as well. Don't cry if there's a D in your rap, son!”

How could that be? My protest in my heart.

“Don't think you're smart then you want to step over me! This school not only judges from the paper, but also pays attention to your insolent behavior! Geniuses would not be perfect without understanding adab and manners!”

Wait, why misunderstand this?!

“Sorry, mom ... But you ...“

“I don't want to hear anything anymore, Shira! This is the third time you have deviated from the task I was given. I know you don't like my lessons, you can stand outside!”

“Bu ..”.

“Come out now!”

“Can I go to the library? Rather than me just standing indistinctly in the corridor,” my door. Miss Lis didn't answer anything. I assume that's the answer yes. All eyes watched me walk out of class. Yasinta seemed to pity me, but I didn't care. This is not the first time I have been treated like this.

The rain and the wind are still mad. The library is across the building. I had to walk along the corridor of the twelfth grade IPS to get there. Yes, that's okay, rather than just being dumb here. The water that was carried by the wind fell on my face. My suit was left behind in class, the cold air snuck perfectly in every nerve. Crossing this place made me remember the gray world in my dreams.

The last time I was there there was no chase with the Sekti incarnate monster. I'm safe in a room with Sakti and Eagle — who I don't know if she dreams the same thing? I haven't asked her yet. It felt like my last visit there was quite pleasant, but my current condition is not. Although I don't care what people treat me, but still, getting kicked out of that class is not a pleasant thing.

I also arrived at the library.

“Hello, Shira! “ greet the library guard and my language teacher, Mr. Hanri.

“Father didn't teach this morning?” my many. This young teacher smiled kindly.

“I just have class later after the first break,” replied Mr Hanri, “what do you need to come here? Or is it empty?”

I'm shaking.

“Ah, any more problems huh?” guess he's a hundred percent right. Looking at my cloudy face like this he certainly knows what just happened.

“You're patient! Demanding knowledge is not easy, there are always obstacles and exams,” said Mr. Hanri, “even for a blessed child like you, writing exams are easy for you, so maybe this is the test you have to face, the social test, you have to be stoic.”

I pulled any book off the shelf and sat near the counter of the librarian. Hmh! Where is there a blessed child who is always unlucky like me? What is a social test? I'm a saint's major! Well, Mr. Hanri this is all there is!

“I've been more than steadfast in facing everything, or can you say I don't care? I don't know, I'm used to being bullied by teachers and fellow friends,” I replied sniffing my shoulders indifferently.

“And you took that flag of hostility for granted?”

“Well, how else, it's hard to straighten this problem, sir. Humans are the most complex creatures I have ever known. I can't understand what they want.”

“Lho, your curses have expanded everywhere, but that's okay, just tell me,” he said as usual, being a good listener.

“I don't know why so many friends don't like and envy me, when what, the hell, makes them jealous? The intelligence? I was only awarded a piece of intelligence from nine existing intelligences.”

“Maybe you got the biggest cut,” replied Mr. Hanri. I shook my hand in the air. Where's there!

“I have also tried not to be too flashy, but people still mark me as superior to be wary of, which should be removed. The teachers also thought so, not least if teaching in my class. As much as possible avoid my questions which he said were difficult and strange, which he said was deliberately to test their abilities. I really want to know.”

Mr. Hanri smiled slightly, inviting me to look at it from another point of view.

“Alright, Shira, if your position is a teacher, then your student asks and you cannot answer, what are you doing?”

“Ya ... um, I will answer honestly that I have not been able to give an answer, questions I will save first,” I replied.

“No, Shira, adults are not like that. For a teacher, it would be very embarrassing if they cannot answer questions from you, especially if it is repeatedly, they feel they are being harassed,” said Mr. Hanri.

“But I don't intend to! I really want to know!”

“His dream, you do not understand the feelings of others yes,” said Mr. Hanri looking at me with pity.

“Sorry, if it's bad. I've repeatedly given up on apologizing, but it makes them even more fed up. What do they really want, sir? Do you have any suggestions that I should do something?”

“Wah, if it has reached such a level, there is no other way.”

“That's right, Sir?”

“Of course not, Shira, you are so naive!” said Mr. Hanri was joking, even though I was really listening to him, “then, there is one question for you.”

“Do you hate them too?” ask Mr. Hanri.

“Hm?”

“Do you hate those who have treated you that way?”

“To be honest no, anyway. I'm used to it all, after all, they're actually very good. My mother said, those people liked me in a different way, I have a lot to thank and apologize to them.”

“Well, then, done already!”

“What?”

“It's okay you are hated by many people, as long as you don't repay them with the same hatred. Like you encounter embers, you do not flush them with gasoline. Despite being hurt by those little embers, at least he didn't burn you, you'll be fine,” said Mr. Hanri patting my shoulder.

“Oh yes, you tell me as if everyone is hostile to you, don't be like that! People who sincerely love you are also not few, kok!”

I smiled a little hearing it. Yes, not a little, really. Only outnumbered those who hate me. It's okay, I'm fine.

“Hey, you don't bring a phone?” ask her in a cold tone as usual.

“Bawa,”answort.

“But not active?”

“Iya.”

“Troubles only! Stop making things lose their function when in your hand!”

“Sorry, there was still a lot of lightning.”

“Ya already, fast to room BK!” said Eagle. Bk Space? Ah, I smell trouble.

“It's okay, let me accompany,” said Mr. Hanri while closing the library door. I still can't understand.

“Come on me to be your lawyer, there is something to be straightened out,” he added. I can't say anything but thank you. This teacher is always good to anyone.

“Hatchi!”

“Wah, it looks like you have the flu, we better not stay outside for long!”

“Hatchi!”

The second break, the rain that had subsided back craze. Even lightning seemed to be lashing with air. Let it, if it could rain just keep this up until you go home later. I want rain.

“Ra! Close the curtains, dong! Horrified to see the lightning outside,” pinta Yasinta. I looked at the window. This time is just horrified? A flash of lightning re-emerged in the sky, emitting a fraction of the light that made the female friends scream.

“Ra! Quick, close!” yasinta was impatient.

“Let's be dark, Yas. The electricity is out too. If you are afraid do not have to look at the window,” I replied.

“The problem is right and left of the class are both windows, Ra! What are you doing anyway, anyway?!”

“Silence, Yas, I'm upset!” reply arrived at the last sheet of the exercise book about, “ah, damn it! It's over! I'm still upset, how is this?”

“Crazy you huh? I was even spending time on training. Still fucked up, right? Nih, many books about me are empty,” Yasinta's grin. I looked at him without taste. Just delicious him!

“So, how was it?” yasinta asked finally closed the window curtain next to me. Our table is near the window.

“How is it?”

“I heard you were called to BK. You didn't get SP, did you? Your parents weren't called to school, were they?”

“Yes no, time is only a problem once my parents have to be called?”

“Makanya, dong, you that occasionally according. It's not that I'm defending Ms. Lis, but she's in charge of giving value. Precisely I pity if there is a D value in your raporm.”

“Is that? Not that I'm arrogant, Yas! The world must have asked how can the test score be perfect, but the score in the report card D?” Denying me, “again, maybe Bu Lis was the one who was being khilaf. Do you know what? Earlier in the BK room it was Bu Lis who apologized to me, should he accept and open with all new methods, should he not have to throw me out of class because of that, he said.”

“Really?”

“Iya, even Mr. Hanri did not mediate our problem because Bu Lis apologized first. It turns out that Bu Lis has been emotional since from home, you know! This is why it is so easy to get stuck in class. Even so, I also remain apologetic.”

“Oh, so so. Thank goodness!” yasinta replied happy, “but why are you still upset?” tanyakanya.

Ah, yes, why am I still upset? I threw a glance at the window that was not covered by the curtain on the left side of the classroom, seeing the stormy water flashing down on the earth. Yasinta looked in the same direction.

“Dimarahi Eagle again huh? What's up?” tanyakanya. I shrug my head not understanding. Why talk about the eagle?

“You looked at the Eagle, I thought you had another fight with him,” Yasinta said. Ah, it is true that the window on the left side of the back is next to the Eagle who was sitting playing his phone.

"Here you go, he's nobody, don't be hurt by his words,” said Yasinta patting me on the shoulder. Hah, I'm covering my tired face. Who was looking at the Eagle and who was fighting with him?

Apart from my galauku, it is actually true. About the Eagle, I don't know yet why he was in my dream in that gray world. How do I know without asking? Duh, how, anyway, I want?

“Ra, stop! Don't think!”

“Forget it, Yas!” I replied lazily, starting to scribble indistinctly.

“You need time alone? All right, I'm going first.”

Yasinta left, chatting with Fina and Dila. I'm still very comfortable in my chair. The cold air made me sneeze. Damnit damnit! Even though he was wearing a long-sleeved suit, he was still cold. I put both of my hands in my pocket. Puh, not much help.

I went to the dispenser, intending to get some warm water. Unfortunately, this dispenser may have been damaged because even though I pressed the faucet red, the water that came out was normal temperature. My sneezing is getting worse. The person sitting at the back table near the dispenser turned his head, annoyed.

“Duh, noisy!” jutek. Thank goodness I'm used to his unfriendly attitude. Yeah, who else if not the Eagle.

“Lang, the dispenser is damaged, tell sarpras to be replaced or repaired,”.

“Brupt how?”

“The heat does not work, the water from the red faucet is not warm,” I replied. He watched for a moment, then turned the eyeballs upside down, approaching me.

“Everything you drink a lot of vitamins, dong, so be smart! If you want hot, first plug the cable, wait a few minutes, if you want to heat once press this button!” said. I blinked a few times. Oh yea! I haven't connected it to the power source yet, eh!

“But it doesn't light up, Lang. Usually after connecting to the electricity the indicator light turns on,” I replied. The eagle put the phone down for a while, making sure the cable doesn't slacken or other times there's damage. I stole a look at his cell phone that he forgot he had keys to. Looks like he was reading an article, about .... about what, anyway, that? Vivid dreams? Dream lucid? All sorts of dreams? Make what? Eh, wait! About dreaming!

“Entahlah, it seems like something is broken,” said the Eagle concluded, “hei! Why are you looking around, huh?!” it's terrible taking her phone back from me.

“Wait, Lang! About dreams ... about dreams, actually ... hatchi!” my words were cut off because of that sneeze. The eagle was stunned, as if it understood where this conversation was headed. This dispenser problem is shifted by itself.

“What's up?” tanyanya was impatient. I was busy wiping my nose with a tissue.

“Why are you looking for information about various dreams?” my many.

“Why did you ask?” he asked back. Duh, can't this not be so convoluted?! I went back to my stool, picked up the paper I had been scratching. There's a sketch of the monster occupant of the gray world I made on that paper.

“Have you ever seen this creature?” I asked to show the picture to the Eagle.

He choked to see it.
