“Say, what's up, Shir?”
I woke up after the Eagle asked me for the umpteenth time. My brain is in a hurry to work.
“Cafeteria campus where is it?” I was panicking, still remembering the short words on the phone.
“As far as I know there are many cafeteria areas here,” replied Eagle.
“The closest?”
“Around the building Faculty MIPA.”
“That's next to where?” I just keep not understanding.
“Could you ask. Along the way please explain the reason for your panic!” answered the eagle rising from the bench where we were sitting earlier. I follow behind him.
“Someone has kidnapped Yasinta,” I said.
“Really? In this open and crowded area?” ask Eagle.
“Entahlah, the clear male voice on the phone was asking me to come to the cafeteria if you want Yasinta congratulations.”
“It's too weird, that guy asked you to come out in the open for ... for what? Think about it, the kidnapper should have contacted Yasinta's parents if he wanted a ransom. Not you, Shir,” is obviously an Eagle who turns out to be very reasonable. His brain seemed to get used to thinking about something this fast. Ah, or is it basically me being slow?
“I don't really understand, but Yasinta was the target of a crime when he got off the angkot and I happened to have failed him,” I explained then we arrived at the cafeteria in question. Too many people. As the Eagle said, there's no way Yasinta's kidnapper asked me to meet him in this crowded place. Where's the guy? What does he really want from me?
“Can you please explain the details of the incident you were referring to earlier, Shir?”
“Yasinta's phone got a pickpocket, then I asked the pickpocket to return it. Successfully, there is no resistance, but I did not expect it to be like this,” answered me worriedly.
“No resistance, heh? Most likely the kidnapper Yasinta is the same pickpocket, but why would he dare to extend the problem just for failing to pickpocket the phone?” muttered Eagle thoughtfully while I started contacting Yuanda who should have stayed with Yasinta. Too bad, on the other end it doesn't even ring. I remember Yuanda's habit of never activating a cell phone while on the go, the habit of***** which made the phone lose its function!
“Yuanda also could not be contacted. The three of us left together this morning,” I said anxiously. A piece of paper fell down from above, drifting slowly before my eyes which I easily grabbed immediately.
“Ah, forgot to tell you, come alone without the company of anyone. Move to the back field. It's three minutes from now.”
The message written there.
“Damn it! The back is far away! Five minutes walk from here!” said Eagle's sebal.
“Well, maybe he wants me to run,” I replied sniffing my shoulders, occasionally looking up, figuring out how this messenger dropped him from the sky.
“Do not take risks, Shir. Let me accompany you there,” said the Eagle.
“My idea is like that too, but it looks like it will harm Yasinta if we defy the guy's orders. Somehow right now he's watching us, too, Lang. So, there's no other choice. Ah, three minutes is a short time.”
The eagle again curses completely dislike this situation, “I will help as much as possible. Be careful, Shir!”
Without stalling again I immediately ran to the requested place though .. well, although, hey, if you want to go to the back field through where? The first time I walked into this college, it wasn't my fault I didn't know. Bodo very much, just run directly against the main entrance of the campus. The more backward the quieter. No one suspected seeing me running because there was no one.
There's no one, right. The bad guy now chose the right place. I hope someone can hear my screams if something happens. I hope the Eagle also thought of a good plan or at least the miracle I can do lately is quite helpful in difficult situations. I can be proud of myself after arriving at the spacious field behind the library unit building. Well, this is the first time I'm not lost.
I looked at the watch, it was a little late, but if that person couldn't tolerate my delay, I would also blame him because he hadn't been seen after I got here.
“Who to look for?” asked a man with long hair that touched his shoulder, suddenly appeared while I was still breathing. No, he's not the pickpocket that was taken. Maybe the students are here. His dressings are like a band, seen from a rocker-style headband and a guitar bag slung on his back. For a moment I did not suspect anything until he finally smiled in mystery.
“Looks like you did come by yourself, good!” he said it made me feel sad.
“Don't .. You are the one!” my answer inched backwards keeping a distance from this man, “where is Yasinta? What do you need with me?”
“Ha? Then what do you mean by his safety is threatened if I am late ...”
“Well, that's where you might think I'm a bad guy, but you're not. I had to say that because you didn't care at all about my message from a few weeks ago.”
“Please don't convolve! I don't understand anything you're saying! The point is Yasinta is okay?”
“Yes, I'm fine because from the beginning you were the one who dealt with me, Your Majesty!”
Again I was too late to realize that this man was the man who came to my dream lately, who talked about chaos, white land, and blah blah blah ... that long bullshit!
“I thought you weren't a good person!” my reply.
“Well, let's see for ourselves later, am I a good person or not?” he said while taking out the contents of his guitar bag which turned out to be absolutely not a guitar, “my job is only to bring His Majesty back.”
After saying so, a beautiful polished wooden sword was drawn out from within the bag. Still on standby for all possibilities, I did not understand much when he stuck a sword into the ground. As soon as the bad luck of the wind came, at first it just rippled to shake the grass, then the longer the storm. The glow of light slowly seemed to expand on the ground, centered from the part that was stuck in the sword.
“I'll bring your body at once. Get ready, Your Majesty!”
“Do not want! Who are you?!” reject me not accept.
“Luskaaa! Bodoooh!”
The sound from the sky made us look up at the same time. The glare of the sun made me unable to see clearly one more figure that seemed to plunge free from space. It landed smoothly at one point a dozen meters from the two of us, jumping another dozen meters to another point, continuing like that until six points surrounded us. I never thought how he could make those jumps without suffering broken bones, as if this solid ground was a limber trampoline to him. Lastly, he jumped next to the man with both feet and one hand, while the other hand was in his mouth, biting his palm.
“Elang?!” pekikku can't believe it. He stood up while spitting the blood that was sucked from his hands onto the ground. The glint of light on the ground stopped expanding. One other thing surprised me. The light from the six points rose into the air like a thread that continued to branch and then interlock, forming a dense dome of light like an inverted bowl with the three of us inside.
“Hai, Shira! I'm sad because you always thought I was an Eagle, whereas the one who imitated my face was my sister, but you never yelled ‘Garuda!’ when I met the Eagle. My sister is cheating huh!”
Oh? Whahuh? So he's not an eagle? Brother Garuda huh? No, it wasn't my fault. Blame the faces of those two who looked so much alike! In addition, I did not expect Kak Garuda to be able to do attractions as cool as before and generate this light dome.
“Stop acting pretentious with Your Majesty!” the reprimanded man beside Kak Garuda looked at him cynically.
“Wah, you mustn't be envious! Your majesty is a good acquaintance of mine, as long as you know! After all, he definitely doesn't like ugly, stiff, shallow-brained, and terribly frivolous people like you!” answer Brother Garuda. I was still staring at this conversation. Do they know each other?
“You're not the only one who's the most perfect, so don't keep mocking me!”
“Nah, sorry for being so sudden, Shira! This person must not have introduced himself, but it has often disturbed you, yes ‘kan? Name's Luska. Too bad, reckless drugs are not sold in pharmacies when he needs them most! Eh? Is it a reckless drug ever made?”
Who was introduced to retweet the head of Kak Garuda while swearing with all the disrespectful vocabulary he knew. Seriously, why am I even watching people gelut?
“Hey, hey, drunken knight, you haven't been self-conscious yet? Activate the entry portal as convenient as possible without installing security! Is this the field of your ancestors?! Or do you deliberately want to go viral in this world by attracting great attention? Wh why? Already given up attracting the attention of people from your own world?”
I gave a worried shriek when Luska took off the blow that made Kak Garuda thrown into the roof of the light dome. Really, I don't know the problem of both of them, but Kak Garuda's words are indeed too sarcastic. It's only natural that Luska's finally that angry.
“Have this nonsense!” furious Luska, “I don't have much time serving you! If you came just to prevent me, then you are the enemy!”
Brother Garuda who some time ago drooped now rise again with a defiant smile, “And if you bring Shira before giving her a lot of explanation, before she had time to say goodbye to anyone, you mean kidnapper! Parallel world kidnappers! Huuu, terrible! How could I possibly stay silent?!”
“You always know how to trouble me!” reply Luska then remove her headband. A tattoo-like motif on his forehead glittered, it turned out to be the same motif as in the wooden sword hilt.
When Luska pulled out the sword, the glint of light on the ground that had stopped expanding now moved in a blink of an eye, making the entire ground within this dome of white light that immediately swallowed me collapse into it. Before being swallowed by the white room without edges, I could see Luska swing her sword towards Kak Garuda who could not move freely in the closed dome.
I wanted to worry about it, but I seemed to have to worry about myself.
Where am I going to end up?
.Seriate.
