DREAM OF THE SHADOW

CHAPTER 9

"Beca?" Yuna actually wanted to shout that name, but all that sounded was a raucous whisper. While those two shameless fellows were getting closer and closer towards him.

"Adith? Why Becca? Why Becca??" yuna shouted. Yuna wishes Adit to say that she accidentally met Becca in front or that Becca just accompanied Adit to see her or.....But Adit just fell silent without an answer.

"Plaa!!" Yuna slapped Adit.

"Stop Yuna! It's my fault." Becca stands in front of Adit as if to protect him.

"Of course it's your fault! You think I'll take you for granted even if you're my best friend? What kind of friend, huh?" Yuna cries and pushes Becca. Adit pulled Yuna's hand and tried to calm her down.

"Yuna, please. We're talking all right. I brought Becca here because I wanted the best path for the three of us" said Adit, who tried to be calm. Yuna was angry to see it. But Yuna is a mature and educated woman. He knows how to behave. Free if he is emotional in the face of all this.

"alright. I want to hear what you think is the best way." Yuna sat down and was calmer now. He stared hard at them. Becca, her best friend. How did they start it all? What a disgusting relationship. Adit and Becca sit in Yuna's front seat. Fortunately, there was a large table separating them. If not, Becca will continue to worry if Yuna will grab her hair.

"Before we apologized Yuna. But we love each other. I love you too. I don't want us to get divorced" Adit said.

"You hear Becca? Adit doesn't want a divorce." Yuna said as she looked at Becca.

"Yuna, I know you're not getting a divorce. I'm not going to dispute that and I don't mind our status either" Becca said.

"You're not fighting this? That's because you're shameless. And also I should have objected to your contemptible status." Yuna's words made Becca emotional. He wanted to argue but was arrested by Adit.

"Yuna, nothing will change with our household. It's just, sometimes I'll stay in our house, my house and Becca's." Yuna heard it and she laughed cynically. They even have their own home. How stupid and naive he was. 'Oh my God, what should I do?' tanyakanya.

"We can keep all this a secret for the sake of our extended family." Adit continued while looking at Yuna, wanting to know her reaction. Yuna looked back at Adit. He did not seem surprised because he had predicted it. That's why Adit doesn't want a divorce.

"Do you still love me?" ask Yuna. Adit.

"Of course, honey. I still love you. I'm sorry, but I'll try to be fair with you two. I promise." said Adit as he clasped Yuna's hand. Yuna tried to think calmly and clearly.

"good. I will try to accept you. But I can't promise until when. If I can't stand your actions, I might take the last step even if I love you. But I have one condition" Yuna said.

"Me, I'm not gonna take care of the limbel with Becca again. I don't think I'll hold it now if I get close to him. I asked to return my investment money there. And in exchange, I want to take care of the Radian Group company. Give me a position there." Yuna said steadily. Adit fell silent and thought for a moment. But inevitably he had to obey Yuna's will.

"alright. I'll give you a position in the company. Becca you don't mind, do you?" ask Adit. Becca just nodded with a smile. Of course he doesn't mind it. Actually he wanted to remain friendly with Yuna, but seeing this kind of condition seemed impossible. Yuna's decision not to take care of the limp anymore was very appropriate. Becca must have felt awkward if Yuna was there.

Adit is calm now. Actually he was quite surprised by Yuna's calm demeanor. He thought Yuna would be more hysterical than she had been. It was the one that made her admire Yuna, her elegant demeanor. Adit sees Yuna's new appearance as very different, more beautiful and attractive. But he had not had time to praise her because of the improper situation. Adit asks Yuna for permission to drive Becca home.

Yuna felt her body tremble violently under the hot shower. She wept realising the fact that her husband was having an affair with her best friend. During this time he always told stories with Becca without knowing that his enemy was someone who held his ace. Fuck you, Becca! From now on there are no more friends among us. Yuna came out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around her body. It turns out that Adit has come home and it looks like he is waiting for Yuna to finish. Adit swallowed his saliva when he saw Yuna who looked sexy now.

"Dear, I'm sorry." He hugged Yuna tightly. Yuna nodded and returned her embrace, she still loved Adit even though her husband had been cruel to her. Adit kissed her slowly.

"You look so beautiful today, dear." Yuna smiled in her heart. He was a little pleased with Adit's praise. 'My swallowed-ups will take you back.' Yuna said. He lets Adit remove the towel from his body and enjoy every touch. Adit hasn't treated her like this in a long time. Different positions and Adit who calls his name when they make love.

Yuna begins her new day by going to the office with her husband. He walked gracefully into the 10-story building. Yuna sensed some of the employees there who were watching her as she entered while holding the arm of Aditya Radiansyah, the leader there. Indeed the supreme leader is still held by Harris, Adit's father. But Adit's position as President Director there makes it powerful to take any decision. As he did now, giving Yuna Sakura a position as Finance Director within one week of the incident at her home.  Harris was very happy to hear his favorite son-in-law finally wanted to join to take care of their family company.

"That's Mr Adit's wife?" Yuna heard someone say.

"Yes, change yes. So different. It's beautiful now." Yuna was happy to hear that. It was rare for him to feel someone sincerely praising him. Although she was beautiful, but her thick body closed all the praise that should have come to her. Adit introduced Yuna to several employees working in the finance division. Cathy, a beautiful young woman, is appointed Yuna's secretary.

"I'm Cathy, Mom. I've been working here for two years as Mr. Juna's secretary." She smiled sweetly. Yuna liked him, it seemed like he was quite diligent and deft. Mr. Juna was the previous Director of Finance. Now he is transferred to the Compliance Division.

"Greetings. I need a lot of your help Cathy because there is no experience at all working in the company. But I went to school in international business and mastered the science of business finance. Maybe now I need you to give me some job descriptions and operating standards of this company for me to read. So at least I have a picture of what I have to do later." Yuna explained after she sat in her room.

"Ready Bu Yuna." Cathy's out of there.

The office is quite comfortable. But he had to hold back his longing to teach the children. Yuna's real dream is to build a school and have a public library. He likes to see children who have the same passion as him. I love to read and find out about what is happening in the universe. Science that will never end. Now his dreams are gone. He felt guilty enough to leave the friendly bimbel in the hands of someone like Becca. But what can be done, if Yuna kicks him out of there, Yuna is sure Becca will be more attached to Adit. It was better for Yuna to leave it there. With Yuna working here, she felt freer to watch her husband's movements.
