CHAPTER 34

The day changed, Adit's feelings became less and less. He could not feel calm before talking to Yuna. Adit feels sorry to see Yuna pretending to be happy every time Joshua meets her at the office. Today Adit will finish it all. Call him a coward, but he was really scared. Seeing Becca's face now laughing happily while reading the menu book in front of her made her imagine how the look of that face would change in a moment. Adit deliberately ordered a VIP room so they could talk more freely.

"What do you want to eat, honey?" ask Becca.

"I'll have a drink first, tomato juice." Adit answered while occasionally checking messages on his phone.

"Lho's? Why not order food?"

"Can deh. I want rib soup with shrimp pasture sauce. The other is up to you." Adit replied after reading the message that the person he was waiting for had arrived.

"OKs. I'll add some more vegetables and side dishes. Not most of them, huh? Portion is pretty big."

"It's okay. We're still waiting for one more person. He's coming soon." Adit looked at Becca's face looking surprised.

They ate in silence, only Adit was seen enjoying the dinner. As Yuna and Becca, they were both waiting for what the man would do afterwards.

"It's been quite a joke Dit. I want to go home now. Thanks for dinner. Luckily I didn't choke and could swallow everything. Please next time don't invite me to a silly event like this" Yuna said as she stood up.

"You!!" Becca was just about to avenge the humiliation, but she stopped as Adit held her hand and asked her to calm down.

"Yuna, please sit down for a moment. There's something I want to talk about." Adit was still calm. He was always like that, a handsome man who always kept his composure in his attitude. It was one of the factors Becca fell in love with him, but it was also that made Yuna go away from her life.

"What else is Dit?" Yuna did not know why Adit was always bothering her. But Yuna put back her bag because she did not like to dodge like a coward. He will face everything.

"First, me and Becca, we're sorry for everything that happened." Adit started well. Becca looks like she wants to refute him but soon undoes her intentions when she sees Adit's serious look at her. Yuna just kept quiet. He was lazy to answer.

Yuna did feel that there had been a change from Adit's attitude these past two weeks. He was no longer angry every time Joshua picked him up. Adit also becomes more appreciative and respectful of all work and decisions in the office. This seems to mean everything. Yuna did not expect with everything she had heard earlier. Yuna continued to climb up the endless stairs. Occasionally he slightly turned his body and looked towards the back and bottom. What a beautiful view. The white clouds form a large rabbit. Colorful trees lay beautifully among the piles of clouds.

"exceptional. If I climb even higher, it'll be even more beautiful." Her thought. Yuna continued her steps. One. Two. Three. He had forgotten how many stairs he had climbed. Yuna turned her head again, curious as to what was behind her again.

Yuna was just about to climb one more rung when she heard a voice calling out to her.

"Don't go up Yuna again. You're going to fall. Come downstairs. I'll catch you." The voice of a man. Yuna couldn't see who he was.

"But if I go down and you don't catch me, I will fall. Look how high I climbed. I'm so scared to take my hold off." Reply Yuna.

"Yuna, up. A little more you will reach the top of this ladder. I've stretched out my hand, haven't you seen it?" There was another man speaking to her. Yuna slightly raised her head and looked at the tip of someone's hand.

"I saw it. Can you wait for me upstairs? I've almost held your hand."

"Don't Yuna, you can't go up. Come down! Comedown!" Shouted the first man. But Yuna did not dare to go back down, the stairs she climbed were already too high. A little more he'll touch the hand on it. Another bit. Another bit. Yuna managed to hold that hand.

"Yuna! Honey!" There really was a man calling out to him. But why can't he see it? Maybe his eyes are not open yet. Why is it so hard to open his eyes?

"Doctor! Doctor! I saw Yuna's finger move." Shouted the man again.

'uh? Is my hand really moving? Why don't I feel it? I gotta get up. Come on dong open your eyes.' Thought Yuna. He tried hard to open his eyes. Eventually, a speck of light began to appear.

'Ahhh...Too glare.' Yuna closed her eyes before trying to open them again.

"Mother Yuna? Did Mom hear me? You can try opening your eyes again, or try moving your thumb's finger." Another man made a sound and Yuna followed him. He tried to open his eyes quite heavy as if he still felt very sleepy and finally he succeeded. He faintly saw the shadow of some people.

"Honey..Dear..You all right?" Yuna recognized. He misses that handsome face.

"Excuse me Mr. Joshua. I checked on Yuna's mother first." Yuna felt the doctor examine her eyes, asking her to look left and right. Thank goodness Yuna could obey everything she asked for.

"It looks like there were no serious injuries other than on his head yesterday. We can see how it develops in the next few days. Mother Yuna still needs a lot of rest. Please don't have many visitors in these two three days sir" said the doctor.

"Good Doc. Thank you." Thank you." Yuna could see the fairly young doctor walking out followed by two female nurses.

"You want to sleep again?" ask again. Yuna kept shaking.

"Did I mostly ask?" Shua stroked Yuna's cheek. Yuna just smiled while shaking her head again.

"I miss your smile, baby."

"Darling.." Yuna's slow voice was more akin to a whisper.

"Yes.." Shua replied with a trembling voice. He held back something that almost came out of his two eyeballs as Yuna looked at him.

"I miss you." whispered Yuna. She desperately wants to caress Shua's handsome face, but she has to hold it in because she feels an infusion needle is embedded in the tip of her right hand.

"I'm so scared, honey. I'm afraid you're why." Shua couldn't hold back the tear from flowing without her consent.

At that time, Shua was at Jupiter Cafe, doing a band show with her friends. Yuna called him this afternoon that she was going to see a friend after work. At about eleven o'clock in the evening as he began to prepare to return home, Aditya Radiansyah called him. Bad feelings began to be felt. And sure enough, her lover Yuna had an accident with quite serious injuries on her head.

Adit and Becca were in the hospital when Joshua got there. Yuna will be operated on and need guardian consent.
