DREAM OF THE SHADOW

DREAM OF THE SHADOW
CHAPTER 74

Shua was very surprised to see the photo above the message earlier. A lock and a brochure Central Peak Residence type Diamond Cluster. What the fuck? The man gave his wife a house for a wedding present? And somehow, Shua's eyes began to glance at Dylan and Yuna's message before the image was sent.

'thank you. But it really isn't necessary. Anyway, I'm only happy if you're happy. My waiting period is one year, if you are unhappy with her you can look for me.'

Goddamn bum!! Fucking man!! What does it mean to wait for my wife? Wish I died huh?

Klekka...Yuna came out of the bathroom wiping her wet hair. Yuna's eyes caught Shua's eyes being surprised to see her.

"Why Dear? How shocked is that?"

"Dylan sent a message."

"Oh. Just open. I'm not gonna keep anything from you. There's no secret between us, okay? I hope you do the same." Yuna sat down next to Shua who only covered her body with a blanket.

"What did he say?" Yuna asked as she took her phone from Shua's hand which answered nothing.

"Goddessa....I told you I'd buy it, why would he love it?"

"Say you can't take it. Your husband is still able to buy you a house, even one more luxurious than that." The irritated tone that came out from Shua's mouth could not be covered. Yuna laughed at him.

"I'll definitely reject it, too, dear. No need to nyolot so dong. You jealous?" Shua looked at Yuna's eyes.

"Yes right, you're jealous hahaha..." Yuna laughed and held her hands around the man's neck.

"Listen to me! I'm glad you're jealous, it makes me sure you really want me. But never suspect me. Jealousy and suspicion are not the same thing."

"Alright Mrs Joshua. I. I actually know Dylan likes you. That's why I don't like you getting too close to him." Yuna looked a little surprised because Shua knew that.

"sorry. But I confirmed it to him. We have a business job in the works anyway. And you will always be around me. There's also Jovan later. How can I hang around with another guy?"

"Oh yeah, mama's got a baby sitter to help her take care of Jovan."

"I feel bad for my mom. Should I stop working?" ask Yuna.

"I can't decide anything. It's up to you, honey. Just don't be burdened by Jovan. Even if we don't adopt her, she will take care of her" Shua said. Yuna's confused. Actually he wants to stay at home, not home with in-laws. But he can't because Nissa's gonna help him babysit Jovan while he's working.

"So Adit came alone?" shua asked as she pulled Yuna into her embrace.

"His wife came but he was just in the room. I'm guessing she's scared of meeting my parents."

"Not dressed yet, dear?" Yuna patted Shua's bare chest.

But instead of Yuna's beautiful face appearing in her dreams, she dreams of another man holding Jovan. Seeing that scene, Yuna who had been holding her hand now ran towards the man. The three of them looked happy. And finally they left Shua who could not move her legs. Unfortunately, the man finally turned his head and Shua could see his face. The arrogant guy, Dylan. Shua awoke with a slight heaviness in her head from her nightmare. The sunlight was peeking behind the windows. Yuna was still asleep wearing her beloved pajamas.

Shua got down slowly from the bed and decided to just swim. While descending to the 5th floor, he called Mario to accompany him to swim. But Mario didn't answer his call, probably still sleeping because it was only six in the morning. The atmosphere of the swimming pool that morning was not too crowded because of Monday. The Shua and Yuna families will gather together for breakfast at eight. Shua decided she would only swim for an hour. After fifteen minutes of swimming, he got up and sat down while checking his phone. There was no reply from Mario.

"The newlyweds are awake. Alone alone?" Dylan. Shua who had slightly forgotten about her dream last night, suddenly recalled it. He saw Dylan wearing a short swimsuit without a t-shirt showing his burly body.

"Yes. It just so happens that you're here. I want to talk to you about something."

"Oh yeah? About what?" Dylan sat down on the chair facing Shua.

"First about your wedding gift. Me and Yuna have decided not to take it."

"Why? I've taken care of the certificate in the notary. Don't misunderstand Joshua, I didn't mean anything. Me and Yuna were talking about the house, and she seemed to like it a lot. That's why I gave it to you as a gift. That's it."

"I'll buy it for my wife if she likes it. If you've taken it to a notary, that's okay. I'll pay for it."

"But..."

"I'm sorry, but it's our decision. If you want to give another gift please, but please do not be too fancy. It will make me think differently." said Shua, laughing. Nothing is funny but he does not want to be considered too arrogant.

"Alright then, I won't force any more. Then I want to swim first, excuse me." said Dylan with a smile.

"Wait for Dylan, there's one more thing." Shua stood up from her seat to be on par with Dylan.

Dylan turned around, "Yes?" tanyakanya.

"What do you mean you'll wait for my wife another year if she's not happy?" ask Shua. That sentence bothered him all night. Dylan seemed to think for a while as if he had forgotten what he had said to Yuna.

"Oh that. I spoke so because I didn't want Yuna to worry about life after she got married. You know Yuna has failed in marriage, a little bit she will definitely feel scared."

"Thank you for your concern, but I'm sure I can take care of my wife. How can you say things like you're waiting for us to get divorced?"

"Lho, isn't that what you did first? Wish he and Adit divorced, right?" Dylan smiled cynically.

"Your asshole. Stay away from her!!" Shua pushed Dylan's body until the man staggered.

"Haha...Relax bro, I never approached her on purpose. The universe brought us closer and you can't deny it." Dylan took off his sandals and splashed into the pool water. Shua still held back her anger. He pulled the towel and went up to his room.
