"Tante, Yuna doesn't understand why Aunty would talk like that to reporters. Aunt why lie?" Yuna clasped tightly onto Nissa's hand which was just bowed in lethargy.
"Sorry Yuna. But Aunt is tired, Aunt is tired. Aunt just wants to focus on keeping Shua." Nissa's voice rang out as if to describe the guilt of everything she had done.
"Auntie get out first. Auntie believes you're strong Yuna. Say what you want to say to Shua, please don't make her feel anxious. Relieve him Yuna." Nissa looked at Yuna for a moment then hugged her tightly then left Yuna speechless.
Still not believing what she heard just now, but Yuna tried hard. His gaze now headed towards the bed-ridden Shua. He held Shua's right hand, glued their palms together and tried to remember how big the man he loved was. Yuna stroked Shua's face which looked slightly pale and yellowed, no fine hair growing even though she had not yet regained consciousness. Nissa must have taken very good care of him. It's just that the handsome face is more tapered now. Yuna was eager to talk to Shua, but her voice choked as if unable to say goodbye. Yes, it's better for Yuna to shut up. Better to leave it all in good memories. Toh let go does not mean Yuna gave up on her love, just that Yuna realized there are some things that can not be forced. A warm kiss on Shua's forehead ended it all. "Be aware and healthy, my dear!" his prayer in heart.
Tuout...Tuout....The sound of the train rippled out Yuna's daydream. He immediately cleaned up his luggage and made sure no one was left behind. He went to the exit and waited in the car park. There he saw a young man carrying a paper reading 'Arjuna Semeru'.
"Hi, I'm Yuna." He said to the man.
"Oh, Mba Yuna. I'm Juna. Just arrived Mba?" Ask a little bit of pleasantries.
"Yes. Everybody gather here, huh?" Yuna saw that there were two other women and three men besides Juna. It seems they are friends of the group as it looks familiar chatting.
"There are three that have gathered at basecamp. We wait for one more person, Mba. I think it'll be here any minute. He didn't take the train, but from the hotel to here" he explained.
"Oh." Yuna replied briefly. He wears his black mask. At least he was a little afraid that someone would recognize him as "The affair of Joshua Austin, Vanya's husband Aprilia". Although actually he does not care much, but lazy if making a fuss.
"Yok guys, we just wait in the car so it's not hot." Juna asked.
One by one they got into the car sitting in the middle and back seats.
"Sorry Mas." yuna.
"Call me Juna, Mba."
"Oh, Juna. Can I not sit in front?" tanyanya slow.
"Wow, if there's a Mba ahead."
"Ooh.." Yuna closed her disappointment for no reason.
"Why would you sit in front?" The voice of a man made Yuna reflexively turn her body. Holy jeez!!
"Mba wants to sit in front, right? Actually it's my seat, but if Mba has a special reason, I'll give it." Say that guy again.
"I...I quickly feel overwhelmed when I sit in the back. Sorry." That's the real reason. Claustrophobia. Yuna would feel claustrophobic if she was among many people let alone in a narrow car.
"Ok, okay. I don't want anyone to throw up in this car either. Our journey is quite far, it can be almost two hours. Juna, I'm the one driving."
"Mr Dylan's driving time?" juna was surprised.
"It's okay. You know I don't want to sit tight in the back either" she whispered.
'Dylan Richardson's. How the hell could he come here? What if he recognizes me?' Yuna raised her mask slightly and chose to stare to the side of the window. Actually, he planned to remove his mask in the car because he easily felt crowded. But what can be done, along the way he had to wear it.
The journey to the Ranu Pani Line is very beautiful. For a moment Yuna developed her smile. Two weeks later, he left home and all his activities. Try to live a simple and free life. But all he could not leave was a comfortable sleep. Yuna once tried to stay at a simple boarding house at the beginning she set foot in Banyuwangi, but apparently she was unable to. I don't want him to move to a hotel. A healthy body comes from a good sleep. That's principle.
"Wake up Yuna."
"Oh has arrived. Thank you." said Yuna as she opened the car door. I don't know when he fell asleep.
'Eh....Yuna's? She called me Yuna?' Yuna's legs are stuck in the car. He looked to his right and saw the man giggling.
"Open that mask. I can easily recognize you. Juna, please get my carrier out!" Dylan turned off his car engine and immediately got off leaving Yuna still speechless.
"When did Mr. Dylan recognize me?" yuna asked as she took her backpack from the trunk. He opened his mask and inhaled as much oxygen as possible.
"Since you turned your body around."
"So fast?" Yuna's question was answered with a nod.
"It's not hard to recognize you. The combination of your eyes and hair is more than enough. And one more thing, call me Dylan without sir. I'm not that old for you." she replied, revealing a charming smile typical of grown men.
"Hello, know me Yuna. You're students, aren't you?" hold a glass of warm tea and sit in the bamboo gazebo behind the basecamp.
"Yes, we're final semester students, Mba. Same with Juna. I know, I'm Siska. It's Tria, Andi, Deni, and it's Ryan's phone." replied the woman in the white hoodie.
"Mba, first time or ever?" tria asked, the only woman with glasses there.
"New first." replied Yuna.
"Buck!! Just the first time was Semeru." Deni's words made Yuna surprised.
"Why indeed?" Yuna's confused.
"No need to hear the words of the children." Dylan's voice made Yuna raise her head and see that Dylan was already standing behind her.
"Eh Mr. Dylan. It's been a long time since I've followed you." said Siska.
"Yes, busy. There is a work project faltered because of working partners who stopped. Ditching work." said Dylan glancing at Yuna and sitting there.
'Meaning me? Stupido? Just delicious!' Yuna felt a little annoyed by Dylan's words.
"Om coming to the top, right?" ryan asked after he closed his long call.
"Yes donk. Half time?! Tomorrow morning we start. As usual tonight we stay, tomorrow morning at 6 we gather at the registration. Enough rest."
"Ready Sir!" say them simultaneously.
"I went there first, I want to see Mbah Yono." Dylan left those who were still relaxed in the gazebo.
"Dylan, your lecturer?" yuna asked as if impatiently waiting for an answer from one of them.
"No. He's Ryan's, he's been climbing a lot too. We call him sir because Mr. Dylan is a nature-loving sponsor on our campus."
"Oh so."
Yuna is actually just a prankster wanting to climb a mountain. Neat capital. He just wants to enjoy freedom in the open. The beach? It is common and often. Now he wants to try something new in his life, to a place no one recognizes. Damn it he met Dylan here.
'There is no need to think about Yuna. Let's just say he's the guy you just met.' The voice in his brain spoke.
The night is getting late. At 00.10. Yuna decided to quietly come out after picking up her phone, leaving behind four women who had already fallen asleep in the room. He could not sleep after repeatedly turning his body.difficult disease sleep relapsed when he did not find a place and a comfortable pillow for him. Moreover, he is not used to sharing a room or bed with others.
The wind outside blew quite cold even though it was not too strong. Yuna regrets not wearing her jacket. He sat back in the gazebo where they were chatting this afternoon. From there Yuna could see the moon and stars side by side. Beautiful tonight. I don't know when her tears are flowing. Drop by drop. Feel a deep yearning for her lover.
'How are you, dear Shua? Are you conscious? Is everything healthy? Your head, your eyes, your hands, your feet.. Suppose I were there, when you opened your eyes. Suppose I could hear your hoarse voice calling my name. I'm the one who bribed you. I'm the one who got you. I want to do all that for you. But wanting me is not my destiny. I'm sorry I had to leave you like that. I'm forced. Maybe I'm stupid, but that's how I love you. If you are my destiny, wherever I go, you are at the end of my path.'
A love letter to Shua sent Yuna through the darkness of the sky with the help of starlight. Yuna raised her collar, feeling cold at the nape of her neck. Suppose he had a blanket, maybe he would have slept there.
"Can't sleep?" Dylan again. Yuna nodded. Actually he had no problem with Dylan, only he was not in the mood to deal with men.
"May I know why?" ask again. Yuna scrunched her forehead and shook her head.
"You'll definitely say I'm arrogant." That speech was enough to make the intelligent Dylan understand what it meant.
"Mmmm..Want to sleep in the car? You can open the window. For sure you have to rest enough to be fit tomorrow morning." Dylan pulled the car keys out of his pants pocket.
"Thank you Dylan. Sorry to bother."
"I just have this, put it on." Dylan draped a deep blue scarf thick enough without waiting for Yuna to answer.
Yuna closed her eyes. He chose to sleep in the front seat with the view looking up at the sky. One thing escaped his plan. Chose to the mountain to feel the freedom of nature, but he also chooses not to be able to sleep freely.
