DREAM OF THE SHADOW

CHAPTER 7

Yuna cooked the steak and prepared everything to make it look attractive. Usually Adit will arrive home at six in the afternoon. Yuna looked at the wall clock that showed 18:25. Maybe Adit will be home soon, he thought. She set the table so beautifully tonight. Yuna waited while opening the birthday photo of her father-in-law that Erick had sent. He caught a figure he seemed to know. But it couldn't have been him, as far as Yuna knew, Joshua was in Australia. Yuna sent a message to Adit asking her whereabouts. But the reply from Adit did not come until he fell asleep on the sofa.

"Honey, where are you?" Adit reads the message Yuna sent for him. He is lying in bed waiting for Becca who he says will surprise Adit. They are in their 'house of service. Adit does not reply to Yuna's message because she is overwhelmed by Becca's surprise. Becca is wearing sexy red lingerie that she accidentally bought for Adit's birthday. Becca feels she doesn't need to buy Adit an expensive gift, but she already has it all. Becca knows exactly what Adit needs and what her weak point is.

"Oh Becca's. I'm crazy about you." Adit hugs Becca tightly and begins to launch his action which makes Becca also crazy about her. Adit decided to talk to Yuna tonight. He doesn't want to hide this for too long. Yuna has to accept it if she doesn't want their household destroyed.

Adit comes home and finds Yuna sleeping on the sofa. He woke her.

"Why are you sleeping here?" ask Adit.

"I fell asleep waiting for you. What time is it?" tanyanya rubbing eyes.

"Eleven." replied Adit.

"Gosh, my food must be cold. Are you really home the night? Not telling me anymore. Already eaten? I cooked the steak just now wait for you." Yuna walked towards the dining table. Adit.

"I just bought a friend's office dinner." Adit doesn't lie completely. He did treat them, but only until six in the afternoon. After paying, he left them on the grounds that there was a family event.

"I'm hot for a minute." Yuna said. Adit nodded. He looked at his wife from behind, trying to guess her mood tonight.

"Eat dear. Can you finish ga? How to know you're still full. I was cooking for your birthday. I bought wine too." Yuna started eating her steak. He was hungry because he had not eaten anything.

"thank you. You know I can't live without you." Adit made Yuna smile.

"I can't live without you either" he said.

"Honey. I want to tell you something. I can't live without you. I don't want to lose our household. Yet... I have another woman I love. I mean, I love you, but I can't live without him either." Yuna felt her breath choked. His stomach was instantly unable to digest what he had just eaten. Yuna was still looking towards her plate, she did not dare to look at Adit at all right now.

"Smark you're not funny Dit. Eat it, then take a shower. You must be tired." Yuna sliced her steak and stuffed the piece into her mouth. He chewed it even though he no longer knew what it was like.

"Enough Adit! Enough's enough! Don't continue anymore. I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear this. Me.to the room first. Yuna stood up and headed for her room. Adit. He was already wet and would not put it off again. Sooner or later, he had to tell Yuna everything.

"Yuna, please listen to me. I know you're disappointed." Adit held Yuna by holding her arm.

"I'm not just disappointed. I'm upset. What the fuck are you Dit? Nothing happened to our marriage and you suddenly said you had another woman?" Yuna went into the room. Fighting there only made her husband's disgrace heard by his maid.

"Why don't you cheat secretly anyway? Later I will kayak in the movies I can be suspicious and later I find out for myself. What the hell are you? Answer!" Yuna shouted. Sometimes women prefer to be lied to as long as they are not caught.

"I don't want to lie to you any longer Yuna. That's why I'm honest."

"Honestly you hurt me. Sure because you won't lie to me for longer? Not because you want to be freer with her?" ask Yuna. Her. Yuna hasn't even asked who "She" is. He's not interested in knowing.

"Your staff is Dit." Yuna shook her head. He couldn't believe Adit was doing that. Her husband who looked perfect and highly educated turned out to behave very depraved. Yuna changed her clothes and intended to sleep. He did not want to think about Adit's words. Maybe Adit was only tempted for a moment with the woman. Maybe tomorrow or the day after, Adit will realize that he is just a khilaf. Probably also...Yuna is just having a bad dream right now.

Adit could not close his eyes. Yuna doesn't even know with whom she's intertwined a forbidden love behind her. Maybe it's better not to tell first.  He felt a little guilty about Yuna. Yuna is actually a good wife. He always takes good care of Adit. Yuna's family background also made her father choose Yuna to be his daughter-in-law. There is nothing wrong with Yuna. Wrong himself was looking for something more that Yuna did not have. And it's inside Becca. Adit took a deep breath. He would face a big problem if Yuna told their parents. Adit has to persuade Yuna again tomorrow.

Yuna felt her head was very heavy. He could barely sleep all night, even closing his eyes. Just dawn he fell asleep. Yuna knew last night Adit woke up and called someone. Maybe that woman. 'Stupid you Yuna, Adit must have called her a lot while you were sleeping. It's your fault you're less sensitive to everything. Your fault!' Yuna crying. Last night he was too confused by Adit's sudden confession. Yuna woke up from her sleep and realized it was already noon. Adit must have gone to work at this hour. 'Jeez, I haven't told Becca I'm late.'

"Bec, sorry. I'll be there in an hour." Yuna called while going into the bathroom.

"Later to tell me" he said again.

"Are you up late?" asked Becca who was sitting in her room and Yuna.

"Let me tell you later." Yuna hung up on him. Becca has already called Adit that she has told Yuna about her having another woman. But not yet in detail because Yuna looked very shocked. Becca waited for Yuna with a little anxiety. He knew his best friend would definitely confide in him. Becca is eager to tell her everything, but Adit has warned her not to tell her it's Becca. Let's just calm things down a little bit. So all Becca has to do is listen to what Yuna will tell her. It all finally happened. "I'm sorry Yuna."
