DREAM OF THE SHADOW

CHAPTER 10

Adit peeked at Yuna who was in the room next to him. It was not very clear as he peered from his window towards Yuna's window. He could only see the pile of documents on Yuna's desk. Actually Adit wanted to take her to lunch, but the message that entered his phone just now made him undo his intentions.

"Darling, yuk's lunch." Message from Becca. He smiled happily because Adit also missed him a lot.

"At home yes. If you are tired, buy it. I'll pick you up in a minute." type Adit. He finished his job a little more and left his room. Yuna looked at Adit who was walking through her room. She has a premonition that her husband went to see Becca. He breathed a rough breath. A week ago when they met Yuna at her house was the last Adit touched her. Yuna believes for a week Adit has been getting rations from Becca. Yuna tried not to think about it, but Adit's image that touched Becca always made her angry and cry in her heart. Yuna knows Becca is much prettier than her, but she is Adit's legal wife. He is entitled to have Adit completely. I suppose.

Yuna took out the fruit salad she brought from the house. He was used to managing his diet. The goal is just to maintain health, to be slimmer is the bonus. Cathy walked into her room after Yuna heard a knock.

"Yes Cat?" Yuna felt guilty after beheading Cathy.

"What would Bu Yuna eat? I'll ask OB to buy it. Or is Miss Yuna going out?" tanyakanya. Yuna thought for a moment. He needed meat for his diet.

"Is there anything that sells steak?"

"There's Mom. But you can't walk. About a kilo from here." Cathy replied.

"Yuk, you come with me. We eat outside." take Yuna. Cathy looked pleased with the invitation.

"How old are you, Cathy?" ask Yuna. They arrived at Steik Stall 88 ten minutes ago and are waiting for their order now.

"24 Years Ma'am. Graduated from college I immediately accepted a job at Radian Group." he replied.

"We're almost the same age. This year I am 26 years old. Maybe we could be friends. Don't be so formal with me if it's out of the office." Yuna smiled. He needs a new friend now. Since High School, he has only spent his time with his only friend who ended up betraying him.

"Good Mom." Cathy was delighted to be friends with her boss. It seems like Bu Yuna is a nice and pleasant person, he thought.

"So what's your hobby?" yuna asked as she poured the mineral water she ordered into the glass.

"I love watching Korean, Japanese, Thai movies. They listen to their music too."

"Oh yeah. Same donk. My dad is Japanese, but I like Korean dramas hahaha.." They laughed while enjoying their lunch that had just been served.

"Bu Yuna's. Look to the right. There is a Global Business Indonesia boss. Very handsome ma'am." Yuna looked at the direction Cathy was pointing at. A fashionable man in a black suit was having a serious talk with three other men.

"Not very clear. He's sitting there anyway." Yuna finished her lunch.

"Yes anyway. If I look back I already know it's Mr. Joshua." Yuna was silent at the name. But maybe just a name.

They stood up after Yuna paid her bill and walked past the owner of the chair they were talking about. And by chance, the man stood up as if he knew Yuna was going through there. They looked at each other and were silent.

"Yuna?" call him. Yuna felt her heart thump.

"Sister Shua?" Yuna even remembered how she called her.

"How are you? We haven't seen each other in a long time." Joshua stretched out his hand. Yuna greeted him.

"good. Brother Shua how?" Yuna smiled.

"Sir, I'm Cathy. I've seen Mr. Joshua in Mr. Adit's office." Cathy suddenly came forward and invited Joshua to shake hands.

"Oh, it's worth it that I've seen you. Yuna works there too?" ask Joshua while he's sorry.

"I'm Aditya's wife. I work there." Yuna replied with a smile. Shua pretended to be surprised. But still there was a slight feeling of pain in his heart hearing that reality right from Yuna's lips.

"Oh. Maybe we can eat together with Aditya. I just became his friend too. We have real cooperation." Joshua smiled sweetly. A smile that made Cathy not blink saw him.

"Can. I'll take Adit. I'll go first, brother, come back to the office." They say goodbye and wave hands to each other. Joshua finally comes face to face with Yuna who seems to be getting prettier since the last time she saw her at Harris's party. He had approached Aditya so he could meet Yuna. Now they meet even without a share from Adit. What a coincidence he had so much hoped for.

"Bu Yuna knows Mr Jo?" ask Cathy in the car.

"High School Friends first." replied Yuna. He had never thought of Joshua in all this time. He was not angry that Joshua was "playing him", but he was hurt. Yuna knew enough to only dare to admire Joshua from afar. But after knowing Shua and her friends' plans, Yuna can only keep a distance from him. Until Shua finished and as far as Yuna knew she continued studying abroad. And today they meet again. Yuna was grateful that Shua saw her new self, at least she had nothing to be ashamed of and felt confident about.

"Sir Jo was that handsome from school, Mom?" ask Cathy.

"Yes. He was like that a long time ago." Yuna smiled. 'He's still as handsome as ever' he praised in his heart.

Yuna went home with Adit. Looks like this afternoon Adit didn't see Becca. Maybe they were satisfied this afternoon, Yuna thought.

"Yuna, tomorrow I'm out of town yeah, there's a job site survey" Adit said. Yuna who heard it must have thought something else. Maybe she would believe her husband's words. But now different, his brain continues to force him to feel the name suspicious.

"Oh, where are you going?" tanyakanya.

"Surabaya." replied Adit while putting his shirt in a bag. Yuna stood up to help him.

"How many days?" ask Yuna again.

"Just two days."

"Only?" Adit fell silent for a while and replied 'Yes'. Yuna felt regret asking her last question. Somehow he doesn't like it if Adit's lying, it's better he doesn't ask. Yuna went into the bathroom.

Adit stuffed his perfume, hair wax, and spare belt. He looked at the open bathroom door. Adit held his breath as he looked at Yuna who was wearing a light white thin nightgown.

"Darling? Why are you wearing that?" Yuna did not answer that question. He answered through his actions. 'Let me be ******** if this can get you back to me.' he said in his heart. Adit really enjoyed the new game from his wife. For a moment he regretted why Yuna wasn't like this just now, as he felt bored with her.

"Oh baby, you're amazing tonight." Adit.

'Why do I not feel anything? Where was my happiness like when Adit touched me?' Yuna only fell silent as Adit started teasing her again.
