DEAR

DEAR
Episode 15's

Walking through the school corridor filled with people I didn't know, moreover they all seemed to be watching me, making me less comfortable to walk.

We arrived at the mading center which was near the room to the school. Here are also very many people, we are jostling when we want to see the announcement on the floor. Luckily the mading is so long that it can accommodate approximately 30 people who stand lined up in front of it. All types of activities today are installed in the mading, we just look at it and determine what activities we want to participate in.

“Wah!” Vicky's eyes suddenly sparkled. “This is really suitable for us.” Said me. “It is fitting that many people wear costumes at the festival this time.” Mumbled.

Huh huh? Whatdoes thatmean? Didn't last year and last year and last year and then last and then people always wear costumes during festivals? Also, didn't he say he didn't attend the festival before this, how did he know about it?

“Reacted because there is a costume contest.” Shouted me.

No, not because of that. But because people always cosplay every year and, the costume contest is always held, right?

“You see here.” He pointed at a poster. “Show your best cosplay. Come to the gym at 7 am.” His reading.

“Means many people wear costumes?” Tanyaku.

“Leva didn't know?”

“No.”

“Then, why are you cosplaying?”

“Because it happened that Lea put it on me!”

“So.”

“How about Vicky?”

“It's not a costume, it's just a regular outfit. Just because Leva asked me what costume I was wearing, so I carelessly replied.” Actually, “The participation is definitely a lot. The chance of winning is very small.” Vicky said regretfully. “But let it be, we'll just come along. Come Leva!” He said he pulled my hand.

We're heading to the gym. There were gathered like people. The sports room is amazingly spacious, now almost full. All standing facing the stage that has been beautifully decorated, this room became like a concert hall. A host screamed on stage and the audience scolded him with a shout. Vicky pulled my hand past the urging of the people towards the backstage. There, stood dozens of people wearing various costumes, not actually tens but more than a hundred.

Whoa! I said in my heart. I've never been this amazed when I see so many people, it's really a costume paradise. I can see a lot of movie characters here, ranging from Spider-man, Super-man, Wonder Women, Saras 008, Panji Milinium, and―Hulk, not here. Mercifully. I don't really like muscular heroes.

Me and Vicky were standing at the table of a fat, rough-faced woman, from the looks of it.

“You want to register?” Said the fat woman. His voice was big, even though he had a small mouth. “With a costume like this?” He looked at Vicky with a sly look.

I used to watch a western movie with my dad, a fat woman who works as a janitor in Mcdonald's, who has the same look as the fat woman sitting in front of me and Vicky right now. I asked Dad, “why do I look at him like that?”, he replied, “that's because he doesn't like the person he looks at, or maybe he underestimates the person. People call it sneaky stares!” That's how my dad explains it.

“You won't get a single point with a costume like that.” The fat woman said again.

“I think so too! That's why I brought someone who might be able to earn a point!” Vicky said, he pulled me. The attention of the fat woman now turned to me. In an instant his gaze changed. Eyes sparkling.

“Wah! Where'd you get the costume? You have your hair uniquely styled! Who did it? You are like ... Japanese Girl.” Admired.

“Lea sewed it for me!”

“Lea? Who her? Where does he live? She must be a really great tailor, she must be famous. Although I've never heard of it.”

“Lea is―”

“Leva, you don't need to answer.” Cut Vicky. I'm silent. The fat woman looked at Vicky cynically. “Just register him,” Vicky said again.

“So, what's your name mysterious woman?”

What makes you think I'm mysterious?

“Quinzha Leva.” My answer.

“Quinzha Leva, your name is no stranger. Your face also seems to have seen. But where?”

“You never saw it. She's a transfer student, only three days in this school.”

“Really? Could it be from abroad?”

“Yes! She's from France!” His lies correspond to the origin of my name.

“Ohhh, outside can. You deserve to be beautiful. Could Lea also be a tailor from France? That's why I never heard of it?”

“True once!” Vicky said.

I don't understand why he lied. I also find it hard to believe that if a fat woman believes everything so easily, how does she think of Lea from France while her name is very Indonesian?

“You from which class?” Ask the fat lady.

“Additional class.” My answer. The face of the fat woman changed.

“Additional class? Isn't there for the people who―”

“He did not enter school for six weeks.” Vicky said quickly.

“Oh so. What class?”

“Class two.”

“OK. Second-class. Quinzha Leva, participant number 283!” Said the fat woman, she gave me a round paper with a safety pin behind it. But 283? How many participants actually?

“Can you tell us when the number before this will appear soon? We have to follow another race.” Vicky said.

“Sure.” Replied the fat woman, a friendly smile that was less than sincere.

We also came out of the crowded gym. Before that, on stage I saw the number three participant who was demonstrating his costume in front of the judges and the audience. The audience comes from various circles, not just the students here, but many spectators from the public and other schools. And it's only 08:39 in the morning, I think it's my turn for the afternoon.

Vicky and I left the gym to class 2-IV. There is not much time in the sports room.

“I'm very good at this.” Vicky told me. “We from an extra class enroll for a flower arrangement competition.”

“Self?”

“Two people.”

“With him?”

“Ya!”

“Your costume is good.” Said me.

“Iya!” Reply approves.

“You should say thank you when someone praises you.” Whisper Vicky to me.

“Why?”

“For manners!”

“I don't need to be polite with people I don't know.”

“Woe.”

“Thanks!” In the end I said it too, without sincerity.

“Sama-sama!” Answer with a smile, “Name?” Said again.

“Victoria, and her Quinzha Leva.” Vicky said. He just signed me up for flower arrangement? It's the same as signing me up to lose. The participants are all female. This room is beautiful, usually with some flowers that have been arranged quite well. Some non-student-looking visitors spread throughout the space while some photographed the flowers displayed on a table.

“Thirty thousand for two people.” Said the cashier.

“You charge for flower arrangement!?” Vicky said he didn't believe it.

“You hope I pull out all the flowers in this school for you to assemble?” Ask the cynical cashier.

“You suck.” Vicky said, the cashier woman smiled cynically.

Vicky took the money out of his wallet and slammed it on the table. “I can't believe it. They also collect points from the earnings of his activities to win. It's unbelievable. The Commodity Island is getting further away!”

So that's what he thinks?

“Choose the types of flowers you want to assemble.” Vicky said to me after we were in front of a table filled with piles of flowers that had not been assembled. His desk was guarded by a thin man.

“One person can only take three types of flowers.” Said a skinny man.

“But we already paid for this!” Vicky's upset.

“Yes! Your money is only enough for three types of flowers.”

“Stars stingy. This place sucks!” Mumbled Vicky.

“Choosing lots of flowers is tantamount to ruining the environment!”

Destroying the environment he said? What about those who cut a lot of flowers for this activity? Aren't they the initial cause of the flower's damage?

“Leva, do not choose the same flower as me, we will exchange it after this.” Vicky said.

“Ya!” My answer. If that was me I already knew.

“That's a great idea.” Comment skinny guy. “By the way, you're not in a costume race?” Ask me.

“Ikut.”

“Make sure you see it, participant number 283.” Vicky said to skinny men.

“Wow. That's a long sequence number. I'll let you lose.  Because I wish my classmates had won. I also want to go to Komodo island!” Said the skinny man with a smile.

We left her with a sullen face, joined by the girls who were focusing on arranging flowers. His words just pissed us off.

Vicky skillfully started flower arranging, he put stalk after stalk of flower in a pot, I just noticed. After that, I started to wrap it up. I did the same thing Vicky did, but not exactly like Vicky. I do it according to my style, with what I like. I also broke the pieces, I put all the stems in the pot and I threw all the flowers. Here's my style. I finished it faster than Vicky, though I enjoyed it a little. Vicky was too.

We put the flowers on a table with the same number as the number we hold. Then we left. We stopped by the 3-V class, where they displayed magic attractions. All around the magician they sell handicrafts, ranging from wooden bikes, pencil cases of paper and a variety of other handicrafts. They also provide apple cakes, apple-shaped cakes made of rice then smeared with green syrup and pierced with wood to hold. Me and Vicky bought it and ate it while walking. Another new habit, damn it! Vicky's been a bad influence on me.

“Come! Comeing! Come!” Everyone cheered for the two of them. Vicky also joined the crowd.

With his mouth filled with food, Adit shouted, “Everything is aaa! If we both win, don't forget to watch a movie in extra class! Okay!?”

“OKEEEE!!” People who are watching it.

I'm approaching Vicky.

“Vicky, why do they eat that way?” I asked Vicky.

“They are in the eating race.”

“How are the rules?”

“You just need to finish the food more and faster than others, then you will be the winner.”

“You think they'll win?”

“We'll see later!” Vicky replied, he fell silent all of a sudden. Then he looked at me in wonder, “Leva, not usually you ask a lot ..”

“Oh! Right!” I said, I was more surprised.

Vicky laughed as soon as he saw my reaction, my inquisitive subconscious forced me to ask. Is this a good thing? Or bad? I don't know. “Ayo, we'll find our own part.” Take Vicky, he pulls my hand, I follow him.

We stopped at a room that read ‘Host of Ghost’.

“Are we going to get points here?” I asked Vicky.

“Of course not! Instead we will just add points to them.”

“Then, why?”

“Because this seems like fun. Come on Leva, don't just think about points. Have fun!” Vicky said. He pulled my hand.

“Fifty thousand for two people!” Said the cashier.

“You charge for this?”

“How do you think?”

“Oh Lord! Is nothing free?!” Vicky said.

“Air, free!”

Waw! After thought and thought again, all those who were guarding the table today were on average sharp-mouthed.

“Are you afraid of ghosts?” Vicky asked after paying the cashier.

“No!” I said firmly.

“Long!”

I'm not a regular person to lie, I have no reason to lie because lying is normal human behavior, like Vicky. Ghosts are my favorite. She still doesn't know me, I'm actually a person who likes everything cruel.

“Come in!” Take Vicky, he's holding my hand tight.

“Are you scared?” My toot.

“Not usually you ask a lot, Leva!”

“Eat him, it looks like I'm sick.”

“You are not sick, but starting to heal!”

We walked slowly into the room they called the haunted house. By the way this haunted house is the second largest room after the school hall. The aura in this room was very gloomy, the dim light of one candle that adorned the main street, the walls were covered with dark black cloth, the, the floor was sprinkled with earth and a few wooden twigs on it made this place a bit gloomy. Who has such a silly idea? Do you think people will be afraid of the land and the branches?

“Leva, so far nothing has happened, do you think it will continue like this?” Vicky asked after two minutes of walking, I could feel her trembling hands.

“No idea!”I don't know what scared this girl. Though he knew clearly the walls were only covered with black cloth.

“Are you not afraid?” Whisper Vicky.

“No!” My answer. Next minute―

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!  Vicky yelled, he made me almost deaf. Damn, this is just a cow head that appears suddenly from above and drifts without a rope. “Leva! You just shouted!” Vicky said after a few seconds to calm his feelings.

“That's you!” Deny upset.

“No. That's you!” Vicky niggling.

“That's you, Vicky!”

“Alright, I give up. That's both of us.”

What gave up?

Now Vicky's getting attached to me. We walked back and turned left at the end of the hall, then right. Then, we turned to the right again, at the third turn we met a little girl who was crying against the wall.

Me and Vicky approached him and stood behind him. “Why are you crying?” Ask Vicky.

“I parted ways with mom!” The girl replied slowly, her voice soft and smooth. He sobbed.

“In-where did you lose your mother?” Ask Vicky again.

“I parted ways with mom!” The girl said again.

“Yes I know you parted with your mother, but where?”

“I parted with mom.”

“Why does he keep saying that?” Ask Vicky to me.

“Do not know! Maybe he could only say those words.” Reply lightly.

“No way, it would be possible if it was you.”

Whatdoes thatmean?

“I parted with mom. I parted with mom. I parted ways with mom.” The girl continued to repeat the same words, over time her tone grew faster and faster. “I parted with mom. I parted with mom. I parted with mom. I parted ways with mom..”

“Vicky. Looks like she's sick.” I said to Vicky.

“I don't think so.” Vicky said slowly to me. “Leva, I started goosebumps.”

“Why?”

“Karena―”

The girl slowly turned her head and―AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

We both screamed. Now I understand that the ghost on the television screen is different from the ghost in front of the wall. Now I can confirm that she is not a little girl or a grown girl, but a girl with no face. Flat. He doesn't even have a nose, eyes and mouth. Then how does he talk?

Our reflexes both ran away leaving the girl without a face, we ran straight ahead and hit the very tall black-robed man. We both stopped suddenly, looking up. His height is unnatural. He's too tall for a human, four times the height of me and Vicky. It was not his height that was the center of my attention, but the position of his head. His head was on his neck and his neck even touched the ceiling of the room? His mouth. nose and eyes also turned upwards, goosebumps. My legs are unable to move, I just stand sculpting. While Vicky's been missing somewhere. I could imagine the slender body of Vicky who ran away in a storm, then−“Hahahaha.” I laughed without thinking about anything else. It turns out that the thought of Vicky can take away my fears. After that, I glanced at the tall figure in front of me, “Why can your head be turned upside down? Are you okay?”

“It's okay!” His voice sounded like it was not coming out of his mouth.

“You are also very high, what do you eat?”

“Eggs!”

“Why?”

“Because of its much calcium!”

“I don't like eggs.”

“Means you're not high!”

“I don't want to be tall like you, it will definitely be troublesome.”

“Then why did you ask?”

“Because I'm amazed. I've never seen anyone as tall as you.”

“While! Go quickly after your friend. I hope he doesn't pee in his pants.” Said.

“Good ‘tuan high and head turned’!” I said as I walked away from him. Where did Vicky go?

“Leddaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!”

Who is Ledda? I looked to my right, and Vicky ran up to me. She cried. She ... crying. I thought earlier he said, “Have fun!” So this is what he meant by having fun, crying out of fear.

“Leva, let's get out of here.” Take it with a soft tone. He held my hand tightly.

“You're crying.” My comment.

“Who cares. Anyway let's get out of here.” We went back to the road we were on to get out of the haunted house. “As soon as we get to one more turn, we should run as fast as possible. Understand?”

“Hmmm!” One more turn is where the tall, upside-down man is. And he pulled my hand, and ran as fast as he could. When approaching a girl with no face, the same thing he did. Similarly, when we got to the head of the cow until we managed to get out of the haunted house.

“I will never enter in that place again.” Vicky said.

“Thanks for the visit.” Said the female cashier keeper, “And come again!”

“Didn't you hear? I said I would never come to that place again.” Vicky yelled at the female cashier. We both left the haunted house. After that Vicky got a text from a fat woman who was in the gym and we headed to the sports room to take part in the costume competition.
