The typical aroma of medicine as soon as his feet stepped into the room smelled so clear. It feels like he hasn't been here long enough.
Though only a week he was absent because there is a need outside the city. Strangely enough, when most people are fed up with this place, he actually misses it. The girl's lips smiled brightly and her narrow eyes saw a familiar figure in the lobby.
"Sister Adinda!" Call it loud enough in the middle of a fairly quiet space.
The nurse in the green tosca uniform turned her head, waving at the girl who was running small towards her.
"Hi, Yanata? When back?" welcome the woman with the dimples warm. For senior-junior relationships, they are fairly familiar. Moreover, Yanata's current position was only an apprentice nurse. But Adinda never took issue with their status.
"Yes, this afternoon. Tomorrow I go in again. Brother's in the afternoon shift?"
"Yes, just visited the patient. What are you doing here yourself?"
The girl held out two paperbags in her hand, "Just want to give this, souvenirs. Shared with the others, right?"
"Well, you don't have to bother with this."
"Ngga bother. I want to come here all my friends."
Adinda's forehead is crinkled small, indicating that there is a question there, "Your friend here?"
"Yes. Yes, brother, I go up first. Ntar his clock keburu abis," pamitnya while then after getting a nod.
Intentionally do not want to extend the conversation because the time is limited.
It was already dark, but it could not be said to be late. The sun has just descended and still leaves a thin orange tinge at the horizon.
He was quite used to the atmosphere of the hospital that looked so quiet as at that time. The place reserved for the sick was like a stopover for him. In addition to his studies, he also often joined his father who worked as an executive director there. No wonder the passageway that looks like a labyrinth is nothing more than a monopoly path for it.
New footsteps stopped in one of the nurseries on the 5th floor after walking down a long corridor in the building. The girl combed around, making sure her self wasn't misplaced.
"This is it, right?"
The hand that had been raised, was about to knock became reluctant.
A moment terbesit in his mind chatter what they will later intertwine. Isn't it strange if suddenly there are people who have just met once, come to see you when we don't know him ourselves? That's not necessarily the person who remembers it.
Why did he suddenly doubt this? Wasn't the purpose of him coming to meet again?
For a few seconds he stared at the white door in front of him, standing in doubt in his heart.
Until he realized that this silence was not normal. "It's so quiet anyway? Is he sleeping?"
Realizing that waiting alone will not bring the certainty to come, he ventured to settle in. Trying to minimize the sound that arises, just in case the occupants are already asleep. But the next second, the silence he kept broke due to the reckless action of a young man who climbed into the window divider.
"Hey, what are you doing!? Quick down! The danger!"
The shrill shrill voice made the figure unaware of Yanata's presence there was startled. Instantly his footing faltered, before losing balance fell, creating a sound that made people grieve when they heard it. "Allegiance..." The young man grimaced softly, stroking the center of the pain in his back.
Hurriedly Yanata approached him, squirming beside him. He was made to panic when he caught a flash of pain on the man's face.
"Gosh, aren't you papa? Stop, I'll call the doctor."
A hand grips him first, even before he has time to move. Intentionally holding him back from leaving. "Nga! Don't need. I'm not papa," said Taufan although the pain still feels his back. But he couldn't let the girl report.
He did not want to be in hospital for much longer just because of this trivial matter.
"But your back"
Although actually in doubt, Yanata no longer voiced his objection and ended up fulfilling the request of the Typhoon. He carefully led the body back to the bed, though it sat on its edge because Typhoon refused to fall.
"Seriously, you made me almost a hanger," said Yanata accompanied by a heavy sigh. His lunged body he threw on the only chair there. He was really made scared until his heart melted because of the actions of the young man. If something bad happens, people will blame him for being an eyewitness.
Hearing that, Typhoon frowned, "I should have said that. No door or greeting, suddenly nongol in my room while screaming. His voice was so tight again. Yeah, who's not surprised? Good thing there's no history of heart disease." grunggutu.
Yanata. There was nothing wrong with his words. He was also quite aware that his attitude was inappropriate. But who wouldn't panic to see someone standing in a window on the 5th floor?
Wrong, it could have been that the person fell out of the building and just left a name. "Yes sorry. Why the hell are you riding so much? It's a danger."
"Oh, just wanted the curtains. After the time I pulled," replied Taufan lightly.
Yanata clucked, never thinking. No love of life, the mind. "You can ask the hospital staff to fix it, there is no need to go up and up. Danger know?"
Seeing the girl nagging made Typhoon smile. Sounds funny to him. "Some of the time why is the window still open anyway?" Yanata said as he moved to close the only access to outside air.
"Eh, don't shut it!" rafan reflex approaching. The skinny fingers reopened the window already locked. It allows the night air to fill a space that is crowded with the smell of the drugs.
"Why?" asked Yanata in amazement.
Typhoon shook his head, "There is no particular reason. I just love the night wind. It's a whole lot of taste."
The night air is still an opium for some people. But even though Typhoon said that, implied a beam of longing stored on the blue marble. A wail that describes as if there is a burden that he is unable to express in words.
Even though Yanata knew the night air was not good for health, he no longer intended to ban it. Not until the heart breaks the little happiness of the man.
His gaze then circulated, the room was so empty without intertwined chatter. But, really, he must be lonely.
"You alone?" yanata asked after a long pause.
"Yes. It's my last night in the hospital. I told my brother to stay home. As long as I'm taken care of they can't rest well for taking care of me. So this time I asked them to rest without thinking about me. Well, although initially rejected outright, but eventually it's also destroyed." His little laugh went on the air, remembering the debate this afternoon with the brother who ngeyel did not let the Taufan himself. Afraid the boy ran away, he said.
"Yes, my condition has improved a lot."
"Oh~ thanks." Sometimes humans are hard to understand. A smile on your lips sometimes doesn't mean you are happy. Sometimes when a person is supposed to be happy for someone else, his heart is sad.
Yanata was indeed grateful for the recovery of the Typhoon, as well as the smile he showed. It's not fake. But he could not deny there was a disappointment that came to the surface because of this short meeting. If he says it must sound evil because he expects others to be sick longer.
Yanata secretly watched the curve of the face of Typhoon. Record every expression the young man showed. His pair of bright blue beads still looked at the dark in the distance. Occasionally closed, enjoy the breeze that gently caresses her thin skin. That sweet smile engraved on those thin lips must have bewitched dozens of girls to fall in love.
"You're like someone who has never seen the outside world" Yanata said, opening a chat. The man then snorted. There was clearly a burden that instantly turned his expression sour.
But not because of the words of Yanata that disperse his daydream, but the reality tucked in it.
"Emangs. Almost a month as a prisoner here. Out at most just to the park, sunbathing. The furthest is also only to the physiotherapy building, has stuck there-situ doang," said Taufan ketus.
Blame Hali for being overprotective of him, until she locked him in a room all day. He said outside a lot of germs that can make him sick. Oh, Typhoon is tired of hearing that sentence that was thrown a million times.
He is no longer a baby. Yanata who initially intended to pity instead moved his direction to air a laugh. Taufan's face that was bent was upset like a sulking duck, according to him.
"Laughter, my life is ridiculous." Typhoon was in doubt.
"Ngga, that's not it. Sorry if you're offended," Yanata said in between his laughter that had begun to subside. His smile was then re-expanded when an idea crossed his mind. "Hey, come with me for a moment" he said as he reached the fingers of Taufan so enthusiastic.
"What's? Where's where?"
"Udah come along. You should see this one. Put on your jacket."
