Dandelions
28. Unable to forgive

That warmth is always near its meaning with togetherness. Togetherness that fills the void, togetherness that removes the fog of sadness, which makes everyone feel comfortable and calm in his or her. But sometimes togetherness itself does not mean warmth.

Like that morning, despite the morning sun that fills the space with a light of warmth, but the atmosphere felt inversely proportional in a dining room in the house. The square table that is usually only inhabited by two people now looks different.3 of the 4 seats there are filled, which means that all family members are gathering to enjoy breakfast together.

It was a rare sight, it could be said to be extremely rare. The normal situation was that when the second son of the ravael brothers was present, two of them would step aside. Well, at least it's been going on for at least the last six years.

Awkward Taufan feel when dealing with his brother and sister at one table. Until the silence swallowed them for so long, only the sound of the spoon clashing with the plate, the only killer of silence there. Until in the end the youngest pushed his chair, about to step foot away from the room with a plate of fried rice.

Hali frowned, "Your breakfast is not over, where are you going?"

Questions he should know the answer to. "I'll spend it in the room." Ken answered, getting ready to walk away.

"Why don't you just spend it here?" Ask again.

Ken chuckled in annoyance, "I can't bear to be as cool as him, my appetite suddenly gone." Her words are cynical. From the end of his eyes, he looked at his second brother with a displeased look.

"Ken, go back to your place and finish your breakfast now! No one can leave before breakfast on your plate runs out." Hali's words sounded sharp, as if there was a word of threat implied in them. But behind that, he just wanted to unite his two younger siblings.

Like his promise to Typhoon.

"Why should I get along with this killer?!" The youngest shouted.

"KEN!"

Hali subconsciously kicked the table. Her ruby irises flashed showing an overflowing anger. Ken's attitude has gone too far for him.

Instantaneous silence...

The room became crowded, the air too heavy to breathe. For a moment Ken forgot how to breathe, he was too surprised to find his sister yelling at him like that. There has never been a history of Hali being emotional to him. But his attitude has changed since he returned from the study

"I'm done, I'm leaving first." The silent typhoon rose from his seat, placed his plate in the sink and left without saying a word.

He escaped..

Because I don't know what to do..

Silence will not solve the problem..

But words alone have no power to repair a relationship that has been fractured since the beginning..

Open the sound actually makes the atmosphere more runyam.

His sister must now hate him even more.

Blams..

"Ken, why are you saying that?" Hali's voice was still high.

"Why? Should I be the one why did Hali's sister change? Kak Hali never snapped at me like that! Does brother Hali realize he's defending the unlucky bearer?" Ken does not want to lose, every word he said he hurled loudly and with emphasis. Even so his body trembled, enduring the mixed feelings. His chest rumbled to hear his brother's words. He wanted to cry, but the current crying would not solve any problems.

A moment Hali was silent, his eyes closed with a long sigh. Trying to release the emotions that had spurred his heart beat faster.

"Ken, listen to me. I think it's time we forgot about that." He softened, trying to speak with a cold head.

But Ken could not, every word he spoke was full of emphasis.

"Forget it? Kak Hali wants to forget our parents and accept the person who killed them? It's as easy as that brother Hali forgives him!?"

Ken's face flushed red, either holding back his anger or holding back his tears from falling. He did not understand the way his brother's mind was at this time. The brother who used to always agree with him, but now actually sided with the person he really hated.

"He's not a killer. It's an accident!" Said Hali who still maintained his tone so as not to go up, hoping Ken could understand it.

"Whatever Hali's sister says about her, or that makes you accept her. I don't give a shit! He is still the one who has made our parents die, who made us suffer all this time. And there's no reason for that fact to disappear!"

"What can make you forgive her?" Tanya Hali arrived.

Ken bowed deeply, his jaw hardened, his hands clenched tightly.

'No apologies to him.'

"That's never gonna happen. Even if he paid with his life, my mother's father won't come back."

Ken ended the debate, passing quickly without looking at his eldest brother. His steps left the room until finally the sound of the door being slammed intentionally.

Blaam!

Hali breathed a tired sigh. While massaging his temples that began to feel dizzy, he was tired. The fried rice that had just run out of half no longer made him want to eat. He doesn't know what to do. On the one hand he must pay attention to the Typhoon, on the other he must also consider Ken's feelings that are different from his.

It seemed like this kind of situation felt completely different, even to him. A week ago they really didn't care about Typhoon, and then because of that incident, in less than 1x24 hours everything changed. He began to accept the existence of the Typhoon. But instead, his youngest brother refused raw, as if his hatred was completely unanimous.

Ken who just returned from his study tour yesterday clearly did not know anything about Typhoon tantrum until he fell ill for more than 3 days. That day also Typhoon returned to school after one week of sick permit.

If you remember his two sisters never spoke, especially Ken. Unlike him who still communicates even if only two words. He could not imagine how Ken's expression when he saw his brother was about to commit suicide, whether he would also behave like this after seeing the state of the person he called the killer - Taufan - the other day. Is his heart going to melt?

If Ken had also seen the moment of the incident, it was possible that his attitude towards the Typhoon would have changed. But considering he was not at home at the time, a change that was too sudden about the thing he hated, certainly had a big effect on him.
