There's a wound there..
Turtle blanket..
Shredding brutally...
It destroys a truly fragile heart..
He just fell silent. His lips were tightly closed, flowing along quietly. The ruby iris gently stared blankly at the figure lying on the sickly bed. Waiting for the owner of the golden bead to open.
Psychologist Ken was shaken until he ended unconscious after hearing the news of the hurricane's coma. The doctor said his stomach acid rose, dehydrated and mild shock until it must be treated temporarily to ensure the condition of his body fit again.
Hali did not understand, why the disaster that befell his family never ended. Why is destiny so happy to play with his life?
Not healed from the sense of loss, he was faced with the health of the Typhoon that could not be said to be good. And now his two sisters are lying in the hospital with the condition of Hurricane who will not know when will be aware.
Why does it feel so painful?
If the truth is bitter, why does fate have to expose it so cruelly? Why should the truth be revealed with such a terrible incident?
Is it not enough for his father and mother to be victims? Just their departure had almost destroyed his senses?
If so, can he resist God for his unjust life? Could he ask for a chance to fix everything?
He just wants to be happy with all the things that are not left much. Is this what he has to pay for a word of happiness?
His daydreams instantly froze as he caught the movement of Ken's body writhing uncomfortably. His breathing was heavy, grains of cold sweat started flooding in.
"Sister.. Brother Typhoon.." Ken's raving in a tight.
"Hey! Ken, open your eyes." With a slow clap, Hali tried to gain his sister's consciousness.
"Nga! Nay! Don't leave! Brother Typhoon!" Shouts echoed. His hand was raised, reaching for the empty air before his eyes.
"Ken! Be aware! Hey!" Ken's eyes opened looking for the figure of someone he was looking for. "Sir Typhoon.. Where is Taufan?"
"Ken, calm down. You could get hurt if you keep moving like this. The infusion needle will come off." Hali tried to prevent Ken.
"Where is Typhoon? Ken wants to meet! Ken wants to apologize. Because of me, brother Typhoon so.." The tears in the eyes fell. Sobs now sounded dominating the outpatient room that was originally controlled deserted. Retracting the pain that makes the chest tight every time the taste perch.
Hali quickly hugged Ken. "Ssttt, it's not your fault. The typhoon did that because he wanted to protect you. She loves you. Me either. I'll do anything to protect you."
"But after everything I've done to Mr. Typhoon, I don't deserve to be protected to this extent. I've made Mr. Typhoon sick."
"Ssttt, stop. I'm sure Typhoon has absolutely no regrets about saving you. You're our sister. We should have protected you. If the one lying in the ICU is you, I don't know what I and Typhoon are now. We must feel very guilty for failing to look after you."
Her tears broke in the arms of her brother. Hali let his youngest brother spill all the burdens of his heart and pain.
Shortly after, a doctor followed several nurses into the room and immediately prepared an injection.
"But brother Typhoon.. Ughhhh.." Ken whimpered as the syringe pierced through his pale skin, and sedatives ran down his veins.
"The storm must be fine. She's powerful. He's just taking a break. As soon as he would recover, he came back as chatty and nosy as ever. If he wakes up later, you should greet him with a smile, okay?" Whisper Hali while rubbing Ken's back shaking violently.
Ken nodded slowly and closed his eyes. It didn't take long for her to get back on her feet and return to a peaceful dreamland.
"The atmosphere was still unstable, the effects of his shock. When he wakes up, please don't talk about anything sensitive. It seems like his mental health is also falling, I'm going to re-prescribe the medicine to help him overcome his trauma."
Hali nodded in understanding, "Thank you doc."
"I'm sorry."
Hali's view is now centered on the figure of his sister who returned to wading through the dreamland, staring at the pale face of Ken.
His hand lifted, erasing the trace of weeping left at the end of those golden eyes. Then gently caress the shoots of her hair that are slightly wet with sweat.
"I'm sorry, you have to go through this. If only I could have come sooner, it wouldn't have ended this way."
The creaking of the open door killed the silence, breaking the reverie of Hali. Khai emerged from behind the door with a plastic bag in his left hand.
"Wake up?" tanyanya who was busy taking care of various things in the administration.
"Butusan wake up, but sleep again abis injected sedative."
"So I bought bread in the supermarket up front, ate it first. You'll have to fill your stomach, too." Said Khai while putting plastic containing small snacks on the nightstand.
Hali glanced without interest. He just took a bottle of mineral water and sipped it a little. Before returning silent and struggling with his own thoughts.
"Have you checked up?"
"I'm not papa."
"But you got beat up too, right? Try the examination all, so that if there is a wound can be treated immediately." Khai's advice gives understanding.
Hali did not reply, did not agree or reject the advice of his best friend. He didn't even see his interlocutor. It was as if his soul was empty.
Khai just stared at pity. He had never met Hali before. With heavy breathing, he gave up on forcing.
"Rest on the couch there. You also need to sleep, don't drop."
The ruby bead glanced towards the clock that was on the wall. At 4am and he had not closed his eyes. Pain he still felt in some parts due to Mervin's attack.
"You must be tired too, right? Go home gih. Thanks for helping. Sorry I am repotin."
"Oh yeah, same as anybody. Just relax, I've got a house."
"If you want to go home now no papa, I'm okay. Thank you very much for your help. I don't know what else to do if you don't exist. Thanks again."
The tip of his lips lifted, carving a smile even though it looked so forced that made Khai even more unwilling to leave.
"Are you sure?"
Hali nodded. Although he was doubtful, somehow that one person could always convince him.
"Later I'll be here again, what do you want?"
"If I may, can you take my clothes with Ken? The key to his house is under the flower pot of the shoe rack deck."
Khai replied with a nod, "I'm back. If there is any phone. You don't want to either. If you're tired, rest! That bread is eaten too." The message before leaving.
"Yes, that's where the martyrs are." Sahut Hali who began to be anxious with the behavior of his friend that one.
"Ididngev." Khai's protest was accompanied by a light laugh, "well I'm home!" A soft clap landed on the sinking shoulder just before Khai completely left Ken's ward.
Khai's departure now leaves him alone with silence at the end of the night. The breath was blown so heavily from his chest cavity.
His hand tightly grasped Ken's hand which was freed from the infusion needle, lifting him up to contact with his forehead. Deep regret shape.
"Sorry, I can't take good care of you guys."
His vision blurred because the clear hair that re-constructed in the eye pelupuk. No problem, just a stream that flows from the end of the eye.
People out there may think Hali is an extraordinarily tough figure. He grew up without parents but was able to support his two younger siblings.
In fact, he was never that strong. Say Hali is weak, he will admit. It's just that he never showed it.
Believe me, no one can bear this burden. Even Hali. I don't know how often his fingers rub his wet cheeks, wipe his tears that never dry, sometimes fall without him noticing.
He keeps the wounds, the sufferings and all the sorrows for himself, until only a firm figure is seen in him. He is also tired. He also wanted to let go of all the irritation that lay at the bottom of his mind. He also needs to be calm after everything that happened to him.
Unfortunately he has no place to lean or complain. All those bitter things he swallowed alone.
Sometimes there is when he is at his lowest point, he wants to end all this, releasing life with destiny attached to him. Ignoring everything that is tied to it.
But his heart never arrived.
At least this time he should be strong. He had to stay strong for his sister even though it was very heavy. Hali is not the only one suffering here. There was another heart that was hurt with him.
For that reason, he chose to stay.
