Dandelions
57. Ethan

The night changed again with the morning. That Sunday morning, Ken and Khai were in Hali's nursery.

Last night Hali kicked Ken out, forced him to go home and rest at home. She let her sister sleep on the sofa, while she fell comfortably on the bed. The next day, Ken was sick.

Although Ken initially continued to refuse on the grounds of not wanting far from his brother, but in the end he also wanted to be brought home by Khai.

While Khai chose to sit on the sofa, paying attention to the warm interaction of the two brothers from a distance. They seem to joke with each other. His existence does not actually mean there.

But it was better, seeing them could be calmer and joking as it made his worry subside a little. Remembered from what had happened before, with them being more cheerful now made her able to breathe a sigh of relief.

Well, it looks like Hali really 'used' his friend very well.

However, suddenly the sound of the door creaking attracted their attention, all pairs of eyes staring confused about the presence of Tera with someone who seemed so foreign to the three.

"Om Tera, what's wrong? Who is that guy?" Hali first asked, not wanting to linger with his astonished feelings.

After being noticed again, somehow Hali felt quite familiar with that person. A middle-aged man in a luxurious suit and a stern look yet his eyes were so shady. Not to forget the warm smile that was engraved beautifully on her thin lips.

However, suddenly the man approached her and immediately hugged her just like that, making a pair of Hali ruby beads rounded instantly as the man hugged her tightly, whispering an apology.

Wait, who is he really?

"You-you who?" Hali. There is no way he was not surprised by what he did suddenly arrived so.

"He's your brother Hali, your father's brother." Clearly Tera was able to read the confusion implied on her nephew's face.

The entire room was dumbfounded.

"Huh? M-mean om? Wait, what exactly is going on here?"

The man let go of his embrace, wiping away a tear in the eye patch.

Her brown-eyed irises collided with Iris ruby after a long time. "I'm sorry, Hali, Ken. Should have met you guys before. Om really sorry."

"I-this is what's really going on?" Ken opened his voice, he was also confused because the foreign man suddenly hugged his older brother.

A warm smile spread across his lips. The man switched to gently stroking Ken's hair.

"Sorry, you all must be confused? Then let's start the introductions. I'm your father's real brother. My name, Ethan. Hello to you."

If all is turned upside down, let the universe ask. To those of you who are always looking, do you know the reason why the sky is blue? To those of you who enjoy the breeze at dusk, will you know where it came from?

Maybe that's how life is. Full of mystery, full of surprises. No one knows what will happen in the future. Just like the ravael brothers are feeling right now. The presence of a new figure in their lives may change their next life.

Probably not either.

Let God design the best scenario for them. We never know how the universe spins. Also how destiny will go later.

They create wounds, as well as a desire to wash them. Then bring happiness back.

Hali may also be crushed round the clock that has inflicted thousands of wounds on his heart, along with various problems that almost destroyed his mind.

But God is good. Behind all the pain and troubles that hit him without mercy, the universe sends people with all its humility to awaken and reaffirm him.

Even though he was dragged to return to the difficult of life and bet with all the opportunities that exist, but it was enough for him who promised to be present for the existence that depends on him.

"At first, Brother Hali!" The smile on those thin lips was expanding. Heart warms. There is hope in him, so that the faithful greeting to start the day is never lost. The happy source that strengthened him to this very moment.

"Morning!" The reply was to Ken who had already passed the chair in the dining room.

"Morning, Hal." Another greeting came from a middle-aged man who was struggling in the kitchen, complete with an apron wrapped in his black t-shirt.

"At first, um." Hali took a chair right across from his sister. Watching from a distance the figure of the man. He seems to be good at including seasonings and other ingredients in his cooking.

A few days after their first meeting, Ethan decided to stay one roof with his two sons. Take care of various things including household needs while preparing for the Mervin trial later.

He has even hired the best lawyer to solve a case that has claimed the life of his single brother and put his nephew in danger.

As for Hali himself, there was still an awkwardness enveloping when staring at the pair of brown beads that reminded him of his late father.

Although Ethan claimed to be his father's younger brother, but still it took time to get used to the presence of the new figure in his life.

"Where's your sleep? Wakeless?" Ethan asked while serving his cooking on the table.

Fried rice with a beef-eye egg topping looks appetizing. Ever since Ethan took over the kitchen, delicious treats have always been the permanent residents of the dining table when the meal hour comes. He was very attentive to the intake of the two teenagers who turned into adults.

"Udah do not take drugs anyway om, but still often wake up malem malem malem." Hali. Various complicated problems that ambush Hali almost simultaneously, making him diagnosed with insomnia sleep disorder and excessive anxiety to have to take a kind of anti-depressant drugs to control his emotional instability and chaotic sleep patterns.

"The habit of staying up late. So it feels strange if Semalem is not overtime. Rich in bats, so nocturnal." Ken interrupted.

"Hey, please dong! You also like overtime reporting!" Reply the brother did not accept. It's reality. Not infrequently he saw Ken overtime completing all his OSIS and PR affairs. Yep... It is natural to get many tasks as the chairman of OSIS in his school.

Ken grunted in annoyance. "Not every day. Lah kak Hali mah every day overtime, learn to be a bat yes, which is always active malem malem."

Hali clucked annoyed, in his heart he sneered that his sister had not felt dizzy so the student was haunted by the deadline.

While Ken laughed amusedly at the sight of his brother. Hali's reaction is like a sweet person.

"What did you study in, Hal?" Now a heavy voice changed Ethan who asked.

"Informatics technology, why?"

Ethan casually drank a cup of coffee made earlier, and turned to look at Hali who was still waiting for an answer. "Om there are plans to open a branch of the company here. I want you to hold on later."

"... Ha?"
