Dandelions
59. A Coincidence

Time keeps going. The orange sky has been replaced with dark night covers the sky.

The full moon is no longer intact, along with the day that continues to change. Until now, the blue-eyed young man had still not opened his eyes.

While those he left behind, must persevere with his loyalty waiting for the laughing pitcher to re-open his eyes. Meanwhile, Ken and Hali return to live their lives as usual, Walah must continue to take turns to visit Typhoon.

Even so, Hali never absent to visit him who is still lying unconscious, although every meeting accompanied loud from the machine there that often makes him uncomfortable. Afraid that during the time the tool lost its rhythm.

The day was the same. When the ICU arrives, Hali will be present on the side of Typhoon. Grasping his hands while pouring out his heart, whispering words of hope and begging to return.

But something was different that time. The space that Hali used to occupy was filled by someone else. Someone who looks so foreign.

"Who are you?"

Let's look back, turn back some time before Hali's arrival to the hospital. On one side of the hospital that rarely most people come there, actually not completely deserted, just not just anyone can enter there.

"Yeah! This is the first time I've had a vigil in the ICU. Haduhh, it feels deg degan gini. What if I make a mistake? Ah no! I have to think positive!"

The girl with glasses and hair tied in two that looks enthusiastic when the foot is on for the first time there, although also looks a little nervous on his face. A special room to intensively care for patients.

Beside her, the woman in the nurse uniform chuckled softly, "Just relax, because you are still an apprentice so you will not be given a heavy task. Not until surgery or surgery."

"It just so happens that there are not many ICU patients treated here there are only 2 people. So your first task is to memorize the patient and the diagnosis in each bed when the doctor visits later.

I give you the picture, right? So in bed 3 it's called Mr. Joko. Diagnosed chronic kidney failure. Awareness since yesterday has continued to decline, so it was treated in the ICU."

"And on the other end, it's Typhoon Rabael. He's a trauma surgery patient, who's been unconscious for 9 days since surgery. The rest you can read in the patient's medical records."

The girl's gaze turned sad, "Pity, when she was very young. Why did it end like that?"

The senior nurse followed his direction, "Hmm? I heard he was attacked by a mob while rescuing his kidnapped sister. I also don't know why a kid his age could be involved in something like that. But he's really poor, he's an orphan. He has a brother, sister to be exact. His sister fainted when she learned of the coma patient, her brother was also treated a few days ago because of stress. He's also here every day, maybe you'll meet him at the next hour."

"Is the condition progressing?"

The woman shook her head weakly, getting carried away, "Even if there is also not too significant. It took a miracle to make him aware in the near future. I heard during the operation he stopped breathing and stopped his heart. Most patients find it difficult to survive in such conditions."

"But there's still a chance for him to recover, right?"

"He had no severe brain injury, but his lungs were injured. He also has acute pneumonia. He'll need time to recover."

For a moment, they were both washed away in a daydream. Grateful for the opportunity God gave even if it was just a breath of fresh air when you wake up in the morning.

"Oh yes, may I ask for help to check the patient's vital condition? There's something I should report to Dr. Rara. I lived first no papa, right? Not for long. Later if there is a doctor or professor who visits, convey the condition of vital signs. Can you?"

"No papa, brother." As the woman left, she immediately did her job. Curiosity brings its first steps to approach the bed located at the end. On the bed that the patient that the nurse's sister was telling me about.

His breathing stopped for a split second, his body stiffened followed by a beating of the heart that instantly became fast while only a few steps left to reach the patient's bed.

His eyes scanned every inch of the pale hue on the face that still left that bluish bruise.

It's true, his memory was never wrong. He remembered the day he met the young man. I never thought they would meet again here, but unfortunately with this condition.

"Who are you?" The girl was shocked when a young man with ruby-red eyes arrived. He didn't even know when the young man was there.

His eyes staring intently and suspiciously it froze his entire joint. His brain was suddenly slow to respond due to the shock.

"What are you doing?" Ask again.

"W-w... Tha-that... I'm right here... "

"Surely speaking!" The gentleman's touch made the girl's courage even worse.

"Pardon me! I-I'm a new intern nurse transferred to the ICU."

The girl's sweet face lifted up. His pair of eyes faded as he recognized him. A no less familiar figure who became from the brink of his past.

"Oh, you.." they. Out of the 1001 events, fate brought them together on 1:1000 occasions in the name of chance.

And so it was the beginning of the Coincidental meeting that he met Hali that night. It just so happened that he got a job to stay on guard in the ICU.

It just so happened that the person who saved him was also treated at the same place where he was apprenticed. Coincidentally a neatly arranged coincidence. Maybe the universe works like that.

"I'm sorry, I can only buy it here. If there's another chance, and brother there's free time we can eat outside."

"I should apologize for yelling at you earlier." Sesal Hali's.

They are currently in the hospital canteen. The haired girl in the tie of two managed to force Hali on the grounds of accompanying her lunch.

"No papa, I understand. Oh yes, my name is Kirana Yanata." He introduced himself.

"Daddy." The reply was brief as he shook the hand the girl gave.

Although the portrait of the girl is blurred in his memory, Hali is sure that the girl sitting across from him is now the girl he accidentally met the other day. The girl who tried to save Typhoon from the confinement of the market thugs who wanted to harass him.

he had not expected that such a short meeting would take him at this point. Suddenly the world felt so cramped because of this unexpected encounter.

"Eum, I'm sorry I bumped into my sister and, thank you for helping me. After I reported, the police immediately came to the location. But it turns out that my brother wasn't there. I haven't been able to reply to anything."

"Actually you don't have to bother like this, after all I just happened to be through that time." Reply Hali.

"Oh yeah, by the way, you know that guy in the ICU? He saved me and helped me escape. I should thank him later too. I owe him a lot."

A smile was painted on Hali's thin lips. Blazing full of pride from his ruby eyes, though terbesit sanguine there. "Yes, he's my brother."

Now he can without a doubt mention Typhoon as his sister, bound by blood relations as a family. The figure that he had once ignored was now the figure he was always waiting for.

While Yanata, once again he was faced with a 'coincidence' that increasingly felt strange. Her iris eyes widened instantly. Coincidentally, it was a terrible fate as well as full of surprises.

"Ah, so it seems. I'm sorry for involving your sister. Were you injured then?"

"No need to apologize, the woman should have been protected. What my sister did was right, well even though she was pretty battered. But he's fine." Hali chuckled a little. Miris actually if given the condition of the Hurricane that was wrapped in wounds at that time.

"Ah, I'll reimburse you for the medical expenses!" The guilt that shrouded her made Yanata slightly jerked.

"No need, no serious injury." Resist Fine hali.

"Although my sister said so..." Disappointment emanated from Ying's suddenly clouded face. Hali's refusal made him even more unwell and confused as to how.

he was eager to return the favor to the man he had just met. But on the other hand, Hali also insisted with his stance. He felt he had no right to accept anything the girl gave him.

Long enough they were fused in silence. Drowning in the mind of each who wandered without permission.

Until the sound destroyed the daydream of both. A blue code sign from the ICU echoed across the hospital.

The body clad in the red hoodie instantly stiffened. He felt deja vu with a pounding that made him forget to breathe. That fear re-established itself at the top of its foundation.

Only one name could make him stray like this.

'Turfan'

Without heeding the full cry Yanata would ask. He immediately spurred his pace quickly, walking down the hallway that felt longer than usual.

His mind screamed, "No! Nay! Please, no!"
