CURTAINS OF THE PAST

CURTAINS OF THE PAST
PROFESSIONAL

“Good morning Sir.” Iffah immediately stood up from her seat to

greet and salute Antoni who just came and passed by

his desk in front of Antoni's room.

“Pagi.” Antoni scowled formally without stopping

step for a second.

After Antoni disappeared from the sight of his eyes, Iffah returned

thrusting his butt into the chair he was sitting on. He sighed

the heavy one, and then release it again violently.

For almost half an hour, Iffah packed up the files

scattered over his desk and thoroughly vacuumed it into two halves.

One was neatly rearranged on the edge of his desk which was not

it was too wide, and the other one was carried to Antoni's room.

Tok.Tok..

Awfully, Iffah knocked on Antoni's office door

a moment after he calmed his mood.

“Log.” Toni from within. And nervously, Iffah

pull that doorknob.

THE CZECHLEKK…

Iffah opened the door and inched closer to the desk

Toni.

“Excuse me Sir, this is your activity schedule for today.”

Iffah handed him a paper that was bound and put it on the table

right in front of Tony. Tony looked at every part written on the

ingenuously.  “For the meeting of the father with

clients out of town at ten o'clock, you will be accompanied directly by Mr

Bobbi. And this is the concept of discussion concerning the meeting of the Father today.”

Iffah returns with another map .

“Good,” Saut Toni no less formal greet every

uffah's explanation of the office.

“And one more sir, you have to sign the contract

cooperation between our company with SEJAHTERA GROUP that we have

agreed three days ago.” Iffah returned with a contract document

collaboration with Toni.

After reading a little, Toni signed the paper with

his signature is in the special section that Iffah has shown earlier. Then he

return the file to Iffah.

“Thanks Iffah for your hard work.” Said Toni flat.

They seem to be completely unattached by anything from the look on their faces

communicate formally in the room.

Ask Iffah again.

“For a while this is enough Iffah.” Saut Toni without

keep looking and keep on working. They were actually trying to be professional with their respective jobs, even though there were only the two of them inside the room.

“Good, then excuse me Sir.” Iffah pamit and

immediately turn her body back out of Toni's room.

Outside the room, Iffah seemed to breathe a sigh of relief and

blinked his eyes by repeatedly holding the clear liquid

a mischievous thrashing was about to come out of her beautiful eyes.

It shouldn't be this hard.~ His murmur is smearing. He bites

her lower lip is thin

After Iffah died, the same thing Toni did at the table

his job. His mind seemed to be tormented by the complicated relationship he had

with the girl who was his secretary in the office.

He repeatedly flipped through the papers

he received it from Iffah earlier, but only limited to the way for him to expel

the shadow of Iffah's face from his mind.

 ****

It was past eight o'clock, Toni stopped her activities

and get out of that room. When he opened the door, he saw Iffah was no longer at his desk.

Toni smiled remembering Iffah's words at that time.

Maybe he's there right now~ Toni continued

the move.

And sure enough, the girl seemed to be finishing

his hands raised his face above the ceiling of the small room

made as Mushalla for Muslim employees there.

You only take away his memories in the past, and are grateful

once You have left His memory to You, O Owner of All Souls.

~ Toni stared at the beautiful scenery peacefully.
